We met our tour guide (Yoshi) and the rest of the group that morning. It was nice, as the group was a total of 4 people + Yoshi. She was a great guide and super knowledgeable as she took us around the fish market showing and explaining items found in the various vendor markets. My wife has celiac disease (so she can't eat anything with Gluten), and Yoshi was extremely helpful in advising what she could and couldn't try out while we were there, and even for the lunch, arranged for an alternative meal for her at the restaurant. This was so very much appreciated by us. We both found this tour to be both informative and very enjoyable, and would highly recommend the tour and Yoshi. For someone coming from the US to Tokyo, seeing the fish market was really interesting and a very unique experience, and would recommend it to everyone.

My family loved this tour. The guide kept us eating and drinking for 2 hours! Tea, sake, beans, eggs, fish, fish, fish! We went back and bought. He gave us a map and marked the stalls. Wow. Thank you Toshi

My wife and I had a great guide. The tour took us though the different areas around the market before we saw the tuna cutting demonstration. the food we were able to sample throughout the tour was very good. I would do this tour again

I went on this tour on a Saturday morning while visiting Tokyo with two friends. It was one of the highlights our our trip. Our guide, Kyoko, was so sweet, funny, knowledgeable, and caring. She made sure that we, and the other couple on our tour, were able to take everything in at our own pace. The Tsukiji market has an amazing range of Japanese food and drink... it really is a great way to throw yourself into the 'foodie' culture of Tokyo. My favorite experiences were seeing tuna prepared for sushi and seeing the precision in making the Japanese omelet. Very highly recommended!

Have to say this was a perfect way to start our 6 day stay in Toyko while visiting our son. Yoshino was so nice knowledgable and attenntive to every one. We learned so much about the culture, history, cooking, etc of Japan and the 3 hours flew by. The food sampling was tremendous and varied and by the end of the trip we were stuffed. The final stop at the sushi restaurant was extraodinary. I would highly recommend this tour in the beginning of your trip. Since the tour we have returned to Tsukiji Fish market every morning for the freshest tuna we will ever have in our lives. We totallly blew off the boring hotel meals to emerse ourselves in the area and different foods from what we are accustomed to. Again thank you so Yoshino and than you for warding the wonderful pictures you took during the tour. Arigato, Arigato and Arigato!!!!

An excellent tour around the fish market in Tokyo. Fasinating insight into the various stalls at the market with some tastings along the way. The tour concluded with a very good Sushi lunch. Highly recommended.

We went on a food tour with Kyoko at the Tsukiji Fish Market on Friday September 27. She was great tour guide and very knowledgeable. We tasted a variety of food, including fresh tuna, dashi, Japanese snacks etc and the tour ended in a standing sushi bar with sake. We had a wonderful time.

Mazda-san was great! Kept us well informed and looked out for the group in terms of train schedules, stations, which tickets to buy, etc. If I had one (small) issue, it would be that it seemed like it took a while for the first tasting, but when that got going, we certainly had plenty of food to eat.

Thank you Toshi-san for a great tour! Tsukiji market is extremely busy but this serves as a very good introduction to both the market and different Japanese foods. Loved the Japanese omelet, the wasabi beans, and especially the exquisite toro sashimi. Was able to return the next day by myself and easily navigate around, and also helped with ordering in restaurants, so would recommend this tour early in your Tokyo visit.

Fascinating insight into the area with a knowledgeable guide who knew the best places to stop and try the food and drink specialities. A hot day and we were a bit of a mixed bunch but she improvised well to make it enjoyable.

Seeing Tsukiji market is intimidating, and having a guide made it accessible. Our guide was great. She was kind and very knowledgeable. The pace of the tour was perfect for us and our 7 and 10 year olds. We got to see a variety of different foods, and the samples were ample. Definitely go hungry! It's expensive, but once you factor in all the food you get, it's really quite reasonable. Recommended for families with kids, or adult-only groups.

I am so glad to have signed up for this tour with Kioko. She provided us with a detailed understanding of the fish market. This was the highlight of our Tokyo adventures. I learned so much about the Japanese food, culture, traditions, and history. After the tour, we had a better appreciation of our surroundings. Our guide was AMAZING!

Our tour of the fish market was great. Our guide, Seiko, was wonderful, making sure we got to see highlights and enjoy very special samples along the way. She was so knowledgeable and explained so much about the market. We got to see how some of the special Japanese food was made and got to pick out our own fresh tuna for lunch, We highly recommend this tour.

We had a lovely and amazing tour guide in Yoko! We happened to get lucky that the other people on our tour were unable to make it so we basically scored a private tour with her. She was very helpful in providing a very unique and amazing experience for us both. She took us to some very amazing spots and helped accommodate our requests when we looked for other types of fish that were not included in the itinerary (that we paid for of course but her expertise made it so that we picked the very best items) The sushi spot she took us to was exactly as described and was incredibly delicious! I would highly recommend this tour group, tour and tour guide!!! Will definitely be back Thanks for the memories!!!! Ally and Nick

The lady we had was amazing! She made sure that we all stayed together and we got to try a lot of interesting foods. Her English was really good too and she was great with my then 4 year old daughter. We got to have little souvenirs here and there and I really appreciated how kind she was. She was even willing to help me exchange some old bills to current yen. Wonderful tour and woman. I recommend however, wearing waterproof boots/shoes in the inner fish market area. Lots of icy water, so you don't want to accidentally step in a puddle and have wet fishy feet.

My tour of the Tsukiji Fish Market was terrific! Our wonderful guide Jun was very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly as she led us through the crowded streets and stalls in the outer, middle, and inner markets. Along the way we sampled rice balls, beans, deep fried fish cakes, omelets, tuna sashimi, and sake. Plus, watched expert chefs at work and saw a wide variety of fish, eels, seaweed, caviar, knives, etc. The tour was well-paced, educational, and great fun. Our moveable feast ended with an excellent lunch at a standing sushi bar. Ill never forget the sounds, smells, and tastes, it was the highlight of my trip to Tokyo. Thanks Jun for making it such an enjoyable experience!

I went on the Tsukiji Fish Market tour with my wife and 11-year-old son. Our tour guide was Naoko. Naoko was very knowledgeable about the market. We were able to sample a variety of different food items. Naoko was easily able to explain what we were eating and provided in depth answers to our questions. She timed our tour so that we got back to an area of the market that provides a show as they cut into a giant tuna! She even made the tour interesting for my son. I must add that Naoko went above and beyond what a regular tour guide would do during our tour. My son ended up getting sick during the tour. Without going into all the details, Naoko took care of my son like he was her own child. She handled the situation perfectly and helped my son feel better. Since my wife and I were strangers in a foreign country, we were overwhelmed with how to handle the situation. Having Naoko with us was a life saver! She knew exactly what to do and where to go. If anyone is considering this tour, I strongly recommend Naoko as your tour guide.

We had a FABULOUS time at the Tsukiji Fish Market with Sachimi! She led us though the market with ease and with great explanations of what we were seeing. We consumed Japanese omelet, fried fish cake, fresh oyster ahi if you don't eat oysters, cherries, Japanese tea, Katsuobushi, sake and sushi. I highly recommend this tour for the first time and returning Tsukiji visitors, it makes a big difference when you have a seasoned shopper guiding you! Thank you Sachimi! :
