Important InfoInfo
Enjoy a day by walking through the shaded olive groves, where the trees have been owned by generations of Berber families. Continue along the paths and begin to descend to the gorge below the falls, first looking out over the valley spreading before you. Walk along the river rapids and continue through the shaded groves, until you come in sight of the falls. Three large cascades feed into a single fall that crashes into the pool below. Descend down and take a barge across the river and into this basin, bringing you closer to the falls, where you can feels it's spray. After a pause to enjoy the sheer beauty and enormity of this wonder the barge continues on, taking you to the opposite bank.

Here you can now continue to relax and enjoy the scenery or perhaps get some lunch. Restaurants and cafes can be found at several points along the way as you begin your journey back to the top, so there are plenty of places and views to choose from as you sit, rest, and enjoy some traditional Moroccan cuisine. Finally though it is time to move on, and continue back up. Along the way are several lookout points that provide even more spectacular views of the cascades, and the rainbows that appear in it's mists. Eventually it is time to return to the city and enjoy the totally different wonder that is night-time in Marrakech.

Very, very impressive trip to the waterfalls. The tour guide Ibrahim spoke perfect English and despite a relatively large group tried to be there for everyone. Really a very recommendable trip.

A great day out from start to finish. Pick up was on schedule and journey was relatively comfortable with one comfort break on the way (and one on the way back). The guide, Ibrahim, was entertaining, very knowledgeable and made a point to let everyone know about the local scammers (charging for pictures with the monkeys). The falls were spectacular and the pontoon ride at the bottom was definitely worth the 20 Dirhams for the photo opportunities. The walk back to the top of the waterfall, via the monkeys, seemed a little difficult for some of the group so this trip may not be suitable for the less active. The lunch at the end was unspectacular for 100 Dirhams, but hey, you didn't travel 3 hours for the lunch. A couple of tips. Make sure you take your own toilet paper unless you are happy to go without! Also, take your own fruit to feed the monkeys at the waterfalls, they prefer it to the nuts on sale.

We greatly enjoyed our trip to the Ouzoud Falls! Although a far drive (2.5-3hrs one way) it was a much needed escape from the bustle of Marrakech. Riad pickup was confirmed the day before and everything went smoothly. Tour guide (Ibrahim) was educational, entertaining, and a joy with his jokes and fluency of many languages. It is a fast paced tour so be efficient with photos and spending time with the monkeys. Be careful of the locals forcing peanuts into your hand then expecting payment. Overall, I highly recommend this trip!

We had amazing time! Journey goes smoothly, our tour guide Ibrahim went above and beyond to make us have fun. One of the best excursions we have ever been on. Also the price is very good (hotel where we are staying is offering the same for twice the money). Will recommend this trip to everyone who will go to Morocco.

We had a fantastic trip to Ouzoud Falls. Pickup and dropoff to hotel was great, no hassle. Our guide at the falls, Ibrahim, was funny and informative and the whole day was perfect, including the lunch at a rooftop restaurant, great tagine! The Falls are spectacular and definitely worth a visit and I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

This was a great trip if you want to get away from the busy city and enter some peace and quiet. Feed the monkeys, let them sit on your shoulders, just don't let them rob your from your bag of peanuts like they did to me lol I recommend bringing a water bottle, snacks, and a bathing suit if you want to swim. The tour guide was excellent, and the people selling their merchandise do not pester you the way they do in the Medina's. This is a very relaxing and calm place to be. Bring good shoes that have traction, some parts of the trail can be a bit steep so good shoes is advised. This is trail is not too much for children or elderly people to handle either.

Hotel pickup was confirmed that day before and everyone went smoothly. The local guide was very entertaining and attentive. The falls were well worth the visit. Perhaps a little longer free time at the falls would be nice.

I must admit that this was the best value for money day trip that we have done over recent years. Our guide was good and kept us interested throughout the tour of the falls, despite a few bad jokes, haha! The falls were impressive and well worth the effort. The meal was not included in the price of the trip, but much appreciated and good for the price.

Our guide where a funny fella, he had a great sense of humour and even while being 100% marrocan, he had a nearly perfect British accent. It was beautiful and the food was a 3 course for 100 MDM, 9 EUR.

The day was amazing. The only mishap we had was with our pick up. The driver didn’t come to our villa and waited elsewhere and didn’t let us know. Nonetheless the trip was great and the guides were amazing.

I discovered so much from this tour. Knowledgeable guide, ‘party’ was just right size. Overall a super experience

Overall an excellent tour and the guides we had were excellent and caring. They were very knowledgeable. All day tour and the day we went it was just perfect. I would recommend to others to use the tour and great hike down and our boys enjoyed the swimming!! I do recommend that flip flops are a bit risky as you go down the rocks. Just a good paid of sandals are good enough.

Get prepared for high temperatures and to go down and up in not very easy paths. That said, get prepared for an amazing day: the fresh bath, the monkeys, the waterfalls, the local people enjoiing themselfs

I did this trip with my wife and three teenage children and it was fantastic from start to finish. We were contacted a couple of days before hand to advise of our collection time from the hotel and we were collected on time. When we arrived at the falls we were met by our knowledgeable guides. The walk down to the falls can be a bit slippy in places so ensure you wear suitable footwear and not flip flops like some of the people in our group! At the bottom of the falls we decided to take the raft across with was well worth the 20MAD as you get take right up to the bottom of the waterfalls. On the walk back up to the top you get the chance to take some pictures with the friendly Barbary apes. Once almost at the top we stopped for some lunch at one of the local restaurants which was a very reasonable 100MAD each for bread, salad, choice of main meal, fruit and as much bottled water as you can drink. Overall an excellent trip and very well organised. Don't be put off by the 3 hour journey each way as the experience is well worth it.

This tour was definitely worth the money spent, but make sure to bring comfortable shoes as you'll be hiking down the water fall to get a closer look and then back up to have lunch at a restaurant. The views we saw during this tour was spectacular and like no other. I cannot recall the name of our tour guide but he was super knowledgeable and gave us explanations a long the way. He was also very attentive as he made sure the group was always together. Definitely recommend this tour.

A very long journey to get to the falls, but once there our two guides made us very welcome, they then led us through Olive groves to the top of the falls. From there a visit to a Berber home where they made the Argan Oil products. From there we descended down a steep slope to the bottom of the falls, Even though my wife has difficulty walking and has to use a stick both guides assisted her and made sure she was alright. At the bottom you crossed the pool under the falls on a raft, if you have a swimming costume take a plunge into the water. At the other side there are a lot of stairs to climb, again my wife was assisted, the guide getting a chair for her to rest and allowing her to travel at her own pace. At the top wild Monkeys would sit on your shoulder whilst being fed, from here we then ate a local restaurant. A big thank you to the two guides for going the extra and helping my wife

This trip was so much fun and an incredible experience. Be prepared for a lot of walking on uneven terrain and stairs. It was well worth it, though. Our guides were fantastic and receptive to my needs, as having an artificial large. Really great!

Do not leave Marrakech without a visit to the Ouzoud Waterfalls the tallest in Africa. Our guides Ibrahim and Omar took us to see the waterfalls at various vantage points so that we could take pictures of the impressive view. Ibrahim took us to a Berber house where he explained to us how Berber houses are constructed, how many brothers lived together to form communities and how they were self sufficient. We went to a womens cooperative making Argan products. We also walked to an area of the waterfall where various members of the group were able to either sit and relax or jump into the water and have a swim. We then walked towards the main waterfall where you could either take a boat up to the waterfall and back to the other side or you could cross the water across sand bags. Walking up the steps to the top of the mountain we saw apes who people were feeding and taking pictures. We stayed in the area for lunch before being dropped off at our hotel/ Riad

Great tour and amazing guide Abraham. Due to rain, a large portion of the tour was closed but our guide still found plenty for us to do and kept the tour exciting.

Really beautiful drive out to the falls, and the view of the falls was amazing. A must see! My only complaint was that I felt rushed down by the actual falls and on the way back up. Would have liked maybe more time to look around down at the base and on lookout points on way back up. Overall, really enjoyed this day trip. Some rough terrain walking down and LOTS of steps back up, but can go at a reasonable pace both ways.

This was worth doing even though it was raining and the waters were brick red in colour. Just be aware it's a 2-3 hr journey in a slightly cramped mini-bus, especially if you end up in the back row of seats, which seem to be narrow, more suitable for a child than an adult. We took sturdy/waterproof walking boots which we needed as the terrain was very uneven and sometimes slippery on the way down on the way up it's alright as it's all steps. There is an opportunity to have lunch at a restaurant after the tour, it was very tasty and reasonable at 100 MDM each which equates to approximately 9.00 each but you are not pressured into eating here.
