Fabulous private tour with a lovely woman. Excellent communication. We were taken throughout the city and were able to sample a number of wonderful food specialities of Amsterdam, including the more popular Stroopwafflen to the more exotic fried plantains in an interesting curry sauce and everything in between! We topped it off with a sampling of Amsterdam beers. What fun! Definitely a great way to spend an afternoon. You won't be disappointed!

Raul the tour guide was very nice and very knowledgeable about the area and food. Ate some interesting things, things I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

Mayra (pronounced "my-ear-ah") is a phenomenal guide. She made or time in Amsterdam a absolute highlight of our trip to Europe. We wish she could have joined us for the rest of our destinations.

A really, really great tour with so many interesting Amsterdam food items to try out. Our guide Louke was super friendly, and also so informative not only about the cuisine, but about the places we visited and the areas we passed through as well. She was great at making sure we got our food samples quickly, even at the wonderful and quite busy city marketplace which was one of our food stops. (A personal favourite.) Thanks so much!

We had Anja all to ourselves and really enjoyed our afternoon! We saw the city, went to markets, tried herring and waffles and cheeses and...Anja is a native of Amsterdam and was full of information, generous in every way, and has a great sense of humor! Thanks again, Anja! Jerri and Carl

The guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the food in the local areas. Very opinionated about the Amsterdam community and explained the way of life, which I found very helpful.. . However, in the description of the tour said that it would also include beer tasting. But we had a comprise and he directed us to a local bar.

Was surprised it was a one on one tour. Best tour I ever had. Learned so much about the outdoor food market. Especially the fish and waffle cookie.

Such a great street food tour of Amsterdam guided by Louke. We had the best time, felt like old friends. Ate the most amazing snacks and sandwiches and sweets. Louke was so great with my 11 year old son too so we both had a ball!

Laura was an excellent tour guide. We toured the open-air market and tried many local foods including herring, eel, mussels, cheese and pancakes. It was a very enjoyable time and we recommend this tour if you visit Amsterdam.

This food tour was one of the best we have ever done anywhere. Our guide Olav was incredible. He explained the history of Amsterdam as we were walking toward the food market. We tasted so many Dutch foods from herring to their waffles. The small size of this tour makes it very personal.

We try to do a food tour whenever we travel. My favorite was the fish shop. I normally would not eat herring, but the herring was incredible! We tried two different recipes. We also had mussels, eel and cod. Everything was very fresh. We stopped at 4 other places. My second favorite was for cheese, beer and bitterballs.

Excellent tour guided by Anna Maria. Met Anna Maria at the Museumplein and began our walking tour. Received a history lesson of Amsterdam as well as samples of Amsterdams cuisine. Anna Maria customized the tour for us as we are vegetarians. We had a variety of food Indonesian, fries, the best ever stroopwaffle, and cheese and wine. We visited the Abert Cuyp Market which was amazing. Anna Maria was very interesting and shared many traveling tips. High recommend this tour.

We had a great food tour with AnnaMaria. It was the perfect way to start our time in Amsterdam. AnnaMaria was full of information about the food scene and took us to a variety of places to taste local foods and drink. She was fun, full of personality and gave us great history and information. Later we text her about a place we had gone as we could not remember the name to go back and she promptly was happy to help. Would highly recommend AnnaMaria for your Amsterdam food tour!

I had a wonderful experince on the Amsterdam Food Tour. My guide was very insightful into the local food scene and took me to places that were not in tourist areas. She was very professional and had a passion for food and the culture of Amsterdam. I have been on many food tours in European cities and this ranks up with the best. I truely had a great time.

One of my favorite tours in Amsterdam! Although we had a rough start since my friends and I had a tough time finding the meeting point which was at the Cafe by the big I Amsterdam sign in front of the museum it was an amazing experience to eat as the locals eat. We had our own private tour for our group of 8 so we went on our own pace. Our tour guide Erica was great! She was very informative and really allowed us to eat a variety of different foods- some salty, and some sweet. She took us to the local market at Albert Cuypt where we tried brined herring it tasted like sashimi, fried herring loved it, oliebollen which is only during the winter time, a ball of chocolate goodness, had some beer and cheese at a local bar, some stroopwafels at the original stall who began making them they are so much better warm and freshly made, and we ended at a Surmise restaurant where we had 3-4 different snacks. All the foods were very delicious and tasty. We wouldn't have gotten to try or even thought about trying these foods if we didn't go on this tour! Erica was also nice enough to let us try some pfoferties since the guy selling them was there even though it wasn't part of our tour. She was very patient with us especially some of us got distracted with the other vendors down Albert Cuypt, and she was very enthusiastic about sharing the local foods with us. I've done several food tours in different cities and I always love doing them because you get to eat what locals eat, learn about the culture, and also get some pointers on where to eat and what to do in the city! You will leave with a full stomach and some leftovers! Just make sure you bring some water!

We did our tour with Diana and she was amazing! I would definitely suggest this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam. We tried great food on our first day and left with great suggestions on places to try for the rest of our visit.

Food tour was a great experience. Dina was a great tour guide and knew a lot about the city and the food. She even went over the time limit by an hour with us at no extra charge. It was a great day ..Was good to see other parts of Amsterdam off the beat and track

Dina was really informative about Amsterdam and answered all of our questions. She was fun and enjoyable to talk to and be around. She took us around the Pijp area in Amsterdam and we ate a bunch of food from the locals. We try some really tasty things like raw herring, fried seafood, stroopwafel, and a lot more. We were stuffed after the tour. Plus, she was super helpful and gave us a list of recommendations of places we should definitely visit. It was a great tour and I highly recommend it.

This was my second time in Amsterdam so my brother suggested doing something less touristy and go on a food tour instead. For an absolute foodie as I am this was a perfect choice. Olav's a real give'r - really knew every corner of Amsterdam and made us feel like home too. We even went to every place he recommended afterwards. Real skookum deal, thanks Olav!
