Good tour took in many sights. Bus driver knowledgeable and helpful. My only criticism was the Windows were dirty so unable to take photos. The driver stopped at various places but not able to do so in the city, if the windows were clean photos could have been taken from the bus.

We were stumped by the beauty of Wellington. Loraine was so passionate and patient in taking us around her town. The time that the tour takes is 2 hours ideally, but she does not mind even if the tour goes on for half an hour more. She was knowledgable, funny and extremely good driver. She took us around all the key sites and shared some lovely information about each of it. But what we loved the most is the coast of Wellington and understanding the lifestlye of the people who live in the city. I would surely recommend this tour to all the travellers who visit Wellington.

Took this tour in June 2019. Our driver/tour guide, Jack, was friendly and knew the sights in Wellington. He was accommodating and patient. The tour itself gives you a nice “overview” of Wellington. The 2.5 hours were sufficient for such kind of tour - it wasn’t too tiring or hectic as well. Although the short time meant that the tour would be tight. We didn’t have much time to go around the Wellington Museum. It’s all good though as the drive around the city was nice and relaxing. Will definitely recommend this particular tour.

It was a comfortable bus, and we were hosted by a personable guide. The tour itself had multiple stops and lots of info.

This was the best organised tour thanks to your company. Due to weather conditions our ship had to change course and all our timings were out. I was concerned that we would miss out, but no, Viator was totally up to date and notified us in plenty of time. We were picked up at the wharf and returned in time to board our ship. Wonderful driver, he had a great knowledge of Wellington and his co driver was also very pleasant and helpful. Don't hesitate with this company. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip.

Really enjoyed my recent Wellington City Tour - our driver made sure we arrived at the various places of interest at different times to the tours organised by our cruise ship, so no crowds to contend with. Commentary was interesting, bus was very comfortable and having fine weather that day certainly added to the experience.

Had a great local guide who took us all over. He went out of his way to make sure we saw as much as possible, along with entertaining commentary.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable. Less expensive to book with Viator then the cruise ship. We were picked up at the port.

We throughly enjoyed our visit to Wellington. Our driver was very friendly and informative.

The Wellington City Sights and Coast Tour was a half day excursion that found our group of travellers experiencing Windy Wellington, but this did not detract from the experience. It gave us an opportunity to see the beach areas around Wellington as well as the city sights and an enjoyable trip down on the cable car from the peak of Mount Victoria. It was informative in as much as I did not realise that Wellington has also suffered from earthquake damage and repair and demolition work is ongoing, although not to the same extent as Christchurch. A good half day excursion. Craig Smedley Melbourne Australia

Short tour but well worth it, providing a terrific overview and much interesting information on the capital city of New Zealand. After the tour, we loved visiting the National Museum of New Zealand on our own. It's real life exhibit of World War 1 is more than amazing.

Enjoyed the trip with Joel as our guide. Some tour can be stuffy and full of statistics, Joels knowledge of Wellington was first hand and informative and we had sufficient time at the landmarks. Would recommend this tour

Excellent tour for short stays in Wellington

This is well worth the trip and change. Start early; it can be a little exhausting, but in a good way. Provides a good overview of the city and area as way to plan your visits. On another day visit the Lower Hutt - lots of little local shops; if you like BBQ, Check out Uncle Mike’s Kansas City BBQ.

The bus driver was a mineful of information, The roads were hairy compared to Australia but not once did I feel afraid. His driving skils were amazing and the trip was everything we wanted to see in Wellington in a short tie
