My wife and I took this wonderful tour yesterday. Tony was our guide, and picked us up right on time at our city hotel. The entire group was a total of 6 people, which is a perfect size. Tony got us to the Miraflores Locks just in time for opening, so we got prime viewing spots to watch a few ships go through the locks, and then to take the Museum tour. Then a wonderful walking tour of the beautiful and ever-changing Old City. What a fascinating place! We finished up with lunch with some excellent seafood, and a stop along the Bridge of the Americas. A great and informative guide, and a wonderful way to spend our first day in Panama!

We had a great time! Watching the boats go thru the locks was pretty amazing. The cathedrals were my favorite part of the old town tour- beautiful! Lunch at Sirena was fantastic!

Tony obviously loves his city and what he does as he is a great tour guide. We spent just enough time at each destination to explore and know it better. Especially enjoyed the viewing center and museum at the Miraflores Locks, and Tony timed it perfectly so we see ships in the Locks. Excellent! Also enjoyed the tour of the historic old city.

This was a fantastic way to see a large part of the city in a short period of time. Most of the others on the tour with me (there were six plus our guide) were on long layovers in PTY and wanted to see some of the city, so it gives you a great taste of all that Panama City has to offer in a short period of time. You'll learn about the history, see the Panama Canal, Casco Viejo historic area of the city, the Bridge of the Americas (great photo opp) and the Amador Causeway. Lunch is not included but we stopped at a fantastic seafood restaurant on Amador Causeway and enjoyed lunch together in a beautiful setting.

This was a really fun tour. Our guide, Tony Rocha was perfect. Lots of knowledge and very personable. We got to see a lot of the City. The Miraflores Locks were amazing. They have a great museum showing historical facts of the building of the Canal. I would highly recommend it.

Everything about our tour with Tony's Panama Tours was excellent, from being picked up at our hotel to visiting the Canal and beyond. We could not have been more pleased by Tony, his knowledge of the city, or his ambiance as he drove us around. No-one should hesitate in booking this well-conceived Trip.

Miguel our guide arrived on time at our hotel , he explained the length of our tour, the areas to be covered, when we got to Panama Canal Miraflores we were able to see the process the ship goes through on the locks, very impressive. We enjoyed Casco Antiguo the Old Town, very historic , Miguel took us to some churches here, overall we all enjoyed the tour and Miguel is very knowledgeable guide.

this tour gave me the opportunity to see the Panama canal - a lifelong dream - we were able to see the canal and watch both a ship and a submarine proceed through the canal as the lock filled with water allowing them to proceed - fascinating. We also got to see the bridge of the Americas and explore the old city of Panama - it was a great day - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Our group was also small with only 6 persons which made it more personal.

Tony was amazing! So fun and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew all kinds of facts about Panama City, the canal, the locks, the people - you name it, he knew all about it. We booked last minute but he was able to accommodate us. He picked us up from our hotel, and we had one other solo traveler with us so it was a great personalized experience! We also got lucky on the day we went - 3 ships were passing through the Miraflores locks so we really got to see it in action. He then took us around the city and to different parts, explaining everything and giving us all kinds of historical facts as we went. I felt like I should have been taking notes! We ended in the old part of town at the seafood market and had a delicious lunch. Highly recommend this tour if you do not have an entire day to devote to being in the canal - it was a great way to see lots of different things.

This man is amazing. i feel like i did/saw everything in one day. Please do this tour. he was professional, courteous, He knew was he was talking about. He brought us everywhere. We saw/understood Panama in just one day. He also does other tours. Guy, he is the guy. he gave me his card, im going to post it her. just email him and he will answer all of your questions. He is amazing. Please wear tennis shoes, bring water ( i didn't but he provided me with water for free), and have fun. bring some money for food, and please trust him wherever he brings you. This guys was freaking out thinking we were gonna die just because here was an area of history Tony brought us that was not the best looking. like, he was being so dramatic and annoying. please don't be that guy. He does other tours too such as bird watching, snorkeling, kayak, etc. I just truly enjoyed this tour. Best part of my stay in Panama. He even brought us to a restaurant in between the your (please bring money for that), and i had the best fish fillet. sigh. also he'll bring you to a duty free place as well.

Great tour with JC. Only three of us in the tour so the service was very personal and customized to our requests. Nice clean minivan, safe drivng. JC sure knew the history of the canal, the old town and the city in general. Highly recommend the tour.

Great day long tour of all the highlights of Panama City. Arrived at the canal early before the big crowds, major plus. Very knowledgeable guide on the history of Panama, US military in the country, and the Canal.

Great day out! I was the only person on this tour, so I basically got a personal tour guide of the city. I really appreciated that, since the day before my tour got canceled because I was the only one that had booked the tour. Overall, it was great learning about the locks and JJ amazing guide made sure I had a great seat to see the ships coming through the locks. He also provided more history of not just the locks, but also the city. He gave me a tour of the old quarter and took me to some scenic areas to take pictures. I highly recommend, especially if you're a solo traveler!

This ended up being a private tour - lucky me! Miguel was on time, professional, very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about his work. We had a lovely day, seeing all the sights I wanted and I learned so much about Panama's history. Highly recommend. Thank you Miguel!

Tony did a fantastic job sharing with us a great history lesson of Panama including the Miraflores Locks, both the old city and new city, past and present. Eating and drinking at the Fish Market with the locals was great and shopping in the old city was icing on the cake! Tony is most professional!

If you need the essentials of Panama City, this is the tour to take. As we were intending to go through the Panama Canal later in our trip, a visit to the Miraflores Locks was important. Their museum and seeing ships in the locks - really informed us. Of the other things that we did, the visit to Ciudad Vieja was also good.

My wife and I got a real treat when we showed up for our tour, as we were the only attendees that day and Tony himself was our guide! The flexibility of a small group cannot be overstated, as we certainly was able to see more of the Miraflores locks and the Casco Viejo than we would have otherwise. We had enough excess time that we extended our walk through Casco Viejo and stopped to eat at the wonderful Diablicos. We both enjoyed getting to tour so much history, magnified by Tony's keen storytelling and the inspiring push of so many Panameños to preserve the buildings in the city. We both came away with a tremendous appreciation of the Canal and the modernity and diversity of Panamá as a city and country. Special thanks to Tony for making our tour so special and meaningful. His tour of the city and locks certainly was as good if not better than any we've experienced elsewhere. Muchas gracias, amigo!
