Stop At: Parque Kennedy - Parque Central de Miraflores, Lima Peru

Well-known for its beautiful plazas and colonial buildings, as well as its ceviche and the famous Pisco Sour, Lima has a lot to offer. Tonight, we want to take you off the usual tourist trail and show you where the locals go for a good night out!

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Barranco, Lima Peru

We will start in the neighbourhood of Miraflores in the center of Kennedy Park which has been a meeting point for Limeños for centuries. After a brief introduction to the city, we'll hop on public transport and make our way to the trendy Barranco area. We chose Barranco as the district to explore for our Lima night tour because it’s awesome. This bohemian district is full of tradition and history, and is located only fifteen minutes from Miraflores. Barranco is also an ideal place to discover vintage Lima, offering colourful streets, small colonial squares, and an antique spirit that will capture your attention. Welcome to hipster town!

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Barranco, Lima Peru

Immersed in the old colonial vibe with classical architecture all around us, we’ll wander Barranco in search of local flavours

We'll pass by the public library, the love-inspiring traditional bridge of sighs, romantic boulevards and great ocean views too. As this is an evening tour, we’ll be meandering and mixing with locals on their night out, keeping pace with them and living the local experience.

Time to eat! We’ll walk a few blocks away to a dynamic area well-known for its many local restaurants that serve up local delights such as anticuchos (beef hearts), picarones (small donuts), and other traditional Limeñan local food. You’ll become an expert in Peruvian snacks as you sample the most popular ones.

And the cherry on top of this Lima night tour will be our final stop in a vibrant local bar, where you can try our famous Pisco sour! Feel free to spend the rest of your evening in the atmospheric bar, where there’s often live music or cool local Limeños to chat with.

Your local guide will help you secure a taxi to get back to your hotel or to your next destination if you wish. Before you go, don't forget to ask for more tips on what else to see and do during your stay in Lima.

We really enjoyed this tour. My wife and I were lucky to be the only ones on this tour and our guide turned up on time at the major Plaza and whisked us off to our first bar within minutes! This bar is the oldest in Lima, an institution and does amazing drinks! We then had some fantastic street food, consisting of some anticuchos, picarones and others and this was brilliant! This is all within walking distance and the ambience was terrific. A few more bars later and our guide put us in a taxi back to the hotel. It was a great night, you meet some terrific local characters and it puts you at ease of where to go in such a monstrous city the Lima is! It really brings out a different side of Lima and gives you more confidence of what to do and where to go.

Paula was a great guide to the city, I had a brilliant time getting to know her and seeing downtown Lima at night. The food and drinks included were really tasty too. A great night! My only negative comment was that the meeting point was so busy it took us a bit of extra time to find one another.

This tour was a great starter for Lima as far as food and drinks go. Simply a perfect way to start your vacation. The guides are so informative and have a vast amount of knowledge.

Did it on the first night in Lima and really set a good tone for the visit to Peru. Food was interesting and got really nice stories about the people, history and culture as well. Had more food, more stories and more history over the week and a half we were there but this tour increased the enjoyment, understanding and appreciation for the rest of the trip. Favorite part was the night market where we were the only noticeable foreigners. Ate many things there I'm sure I would have never eaten if I had not been on a tour. Also made a few stops a more traditional establishments for more traditional foods. One surprise was a stop at a Bavarian Pub where we had sausage and beers. There's a story there that made the tour interesting and diversified. The guide was very flexible and allowed substitute drinks for the non-alcohol drinkers and gave monetary credit to the members of the tour that wanted to try food that was not on the tour menu.

This tour was amazing. Our guide Paula was knowledgeable and friendly. Visited some bars we didn't know about, tried some Piscos and some street food we wouldn't have otherwise tried. Was a really nice way to spend our last night in Peru.

We really, really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it as an evening tour. We caught a taxi to the centre of Lima and our tour guide Paula met with us. She also organised a taxi to return us to Miraflores. Paula showed us a really great time, her English was fantastic and she was a very interesting lady. We visited a couple of bars, enjoying some beer and the best pisco sour in Lima. We also visited a night market where we enjoyed some food tastings. The tour was terrific. We were 4 adults travelling together. Thank you Paula for making it a great night.

We had a wonderful time with Carlos on our tour. We visited some really great venues and had wonderful cocktails, street food and conversations about the history of Peru, politics and family life!! It was a wonderful way for us to learn to more about the country we were visiting. And it was a great way for us to be out and about in the evening in a safe and fun environment! We would definitely do this again!!

Great evening - we were the only ones on the tour and had a wonderful time. Good selection of bars and street food and you get to see part of the city at night that you would probably not know about or explore by yourself.

We had a blast on this tour! The guide walked us through a fair where we could sample some street food. We never would have tried if we were alone. We also were able to stop by a few bars to have a few drinks. Again, it was nice to have a guide show us a part of Lima we would not have otherwise!

Lima food walking tour was great. We got to see a side of Lima we would not normally dare to see. Quirky bars, with history, lots of drinks, and an informative and very friendly guide, made this a highlight of our trip. Great value

Very Nice!!! My guide Paula and Rodolfo were fantastic. This fell on Good Friday and what should have been a simple walk around ended up being with thousands of people....Paula took control and made it all just right. They both seemed to really enjoy themselves and it was like being out with old friends. Very nice tour.

This was an awesome tour. Paula was an epic tour guide, and Fiorella was fantastic as well. They were both VERY knowledgeable about everything we asked, and they were so much fun to hang out with as well. If you have a free night and want to enjoy a laid back experience, this is it. The food was great, and the bars were fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!!
