Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Manila!

Upon arrival into Manila, you will be met and transferred to our hotel located in the Capital city of the Philippines. The rest of the day is at your leisure for you to relax or explore at your pace, Later, you will have the opportunity to join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner at 7 PM.

Please note: This tour is designed for younger travellers looking for a backpacker-style experience and to meet like-minded people. The average age on this tour is around 21 - 35, and we are unfortunately unable to take any travellers over the age of 39. We have lots of group tours across our destinations that are suitable for travellers of all ages, browse our website or get in touch to find the perfect trip!

Day 2 - Manila to Cebu City & Moalboal

Manila - Cebu City - Moalboal. Today, we embark on a journey to Cebu, starting with a short flight followed by a relaxing ferry ride. As we wind our way up the coast, we'll make stops at some of Cebu’s most stunning waterfalls, where the crystal-clear waters cascade down lush greenery. These tranquil spots are perfect for capturing those iconic Philippines shots, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of the island's natural landscapes. After we will continue our journey to Moalboal.

Day 3 - Kawasan Falls Canyoneering

Today, we will embark on an exhilarating canyoneering adventure at Kawasan Falls, where we’ll jump into vibrant blue pools and explore the enchanting rainforest environment. Canyoneering involves navigating through a canyon by walking, climbing, swimming, and leaping into natural pools. Kawasan Falls is renowned for its stunning turquoise waters, cascading down lush green cliffs, surrounded by dense jungle. The area offers a thrilling yet beautiful landscape, perfect for an adrenaline-fueled adventure through nature.

Day 4 - Sardine Run & Snorkelling

This morning, we set off on a snorkeling adventure to witness the famous Sardine Run of Moalboal. As we dive into the crystal-clear waters, we will be surrounded by an endless swirl of sardines, an awe-inspiring sight straight out of a David Attenborough documentary. It is a truly unique experience, one you won’t forget. In the afternoon, you can wander through the charming streets of Moalboal or simply relax by the beach or pool, soaking up the tropical sun.

Day 5 - Simala Church & Flight to Coron

Moalboal - Cebu City - Coron. After breakfast, we'll head to Simala Church, a beautiful, castle-like monastery perched on a hill. Its grand, ornate architecture and towering spires make it one of the most unique and revered religious sites in the Philippines. The church offers a sense of peace and history, with its serene surroundings and stunning views of the countryside.

Afterward, we’ll take our second domestic flight from Cebu City to Busuanga Island, where we’ll make our way to the stunning town of Coron. Known for its dramatic limestone cliffs, crystal-clear lagoons, and shipwreck diving sites, Coron is a tropical paradise that feels untouched by time. We’ll check into our accommodation and have the rest of the day to relax and soak in the natural beauty that surrounds this island haven.

Day 6 - Snorkelling the Sulu Sea & Coron's Nightlife

Today, we will get ready to grab our snorkel gear and underwater cameras as we head out to the vibrant waters of the Sulu Sea for an unforgettable snorkelling adventure. We’ll explore some of Coron's most famous snorkelling spots, where we’ll be surrounded by dazzling marine life, from colourful coral reefs to tropical fish. After a day of underwater exploration, we’ll dive into Coron's lively nightlife, where the island's vibrant bars and laid-back atmosphere offer the perfect end to an exhilarating day.

Day 7 - Hike to Mount Tapyas & Maquinit Hot Springs

This morning you will have the opportunity to explore Coron at leisure or relax by the pool. After, we will get ready to hike up Mount Tapyas, a popular spot in Coron known for its stunning views. As we ascend, we’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and gradually rewarded with breathtaking vistas. At the summit, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of Coron’s bays, crystal-clear waters, and limestone cliffs, along with a towering cross marking the top—making it the perfect spot to take in the beauty of the island.

We will then make our way to Maquinit Hot Springs at sunset, where we can unwind in the natural thermal waters. Surrounded by mangroves and the sounds of nature, the warm, soothing waters offer the perfect way to relax after a day of adventure.

Day 8 - 3-Day Island Hopping Adventure to El Nido

Today, we set off on an unforgettable 3-day island-hopping adventure from Coron to El Nido. Aboard a traditional Banca boat, we’ll sail through hidden gems, discovering untouched islands and crystal-clear waters. Along the way, we’ll meet local tribes, immerse ourselves in their culture, and sleep under the stars on quiet, secluded beaches. Our stays in simple Filipino huts offer a rustic charm, but with few tourists around, fresh food in abundance, and jaw-dropping views at every turn.

Day 9 - Island Hopping & Snorkelling

As we journey further through Palawan, we’ll stumble upon more untouched white beaches, each more pristine than the last. In the warm, crystal-clear waters, we'll swim alongside colourful fish in some of the most vibrant snorkelling spots in the world. Surrounded by such natural beauty, we’ll swim, snorkel, and bask in the sun. As night falls, we'll settle in for a night on the beach in a traditional hut, the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep beneath a sky full of stars.

Day 10 - Arrival in El Nido & Leisure time

Coron - El Nido. Today marks the end of our island-hopping adventure as we arrive on the stunning island of Palawan. The day is yours to unwind on the beach, sip on cold drinks, and soak in the laid-back atmosphere of El Nido. As the evening approaches, we'll have the chance to dive into the vibrant nightlife, experiencing the island’s lively bars and buzzing energy under the tropical stars.

Day 11 - Filippino Massage & Canopy Walk

This morning, we’ll indulge in a soothing Filipino massage, the perfect way to unwind after our adventures. Once we're refreshed, we’ll head out for a walk through the lush jungle canopy, where we'll be treated to stunning views of the town below, surrounded by vibrant greenery and the sounds of nature.

In the evening, you will have the rest of the day to further explore the nightlife of El Nido or relax.

Day 12 - Jeepney Tour of El Nido & Nacpan Beach

Today, we’ll hop into a Jeepney for a tour of El Nido. First, we'll visit a local organic farm, where we’ll learn about the area’s produce before enjoying lunch on the beach. As we dine, the local children will perform a traditional Filipino dance, adding a beautiful cultural touch to our day.

After lunch, we’ll head to Nacpan Beach, one of Palawan’s most stunning spots, where the soft sands meet crystal-clear waters. We’ll also explore a few hidden local gems, giving us a true taste of Filipino island life. As the day draws to a close, you will have the opportunity to gather for dinner and drinks in order to say goodbye to those finishing their tour tomorrow.

Please note: Some members of the group may be ending their tour in El Nido, and not continuing with us to Port Barton.

Day 13 - El Nido to Port Barton

El Nido - Port Barton. Today, we leave El Nido and journey further south to the tranquil beach town of Port Barton, a hidden gem and gateway to even more tropical wonders. You’ll have the afternoon to unwind on the soft sands, soak up the serene atmosphere, and take in the stunning sunset views over the crystal-clear waters. As the evening sets in, we’ll come together for dinner, enjoying the relaxed vibe of this peaceful coastal haven.

Day 14 - Snorkelling in Port Barton

Today, we embark on our final island adventure, immersing ourselves in crystal-clear waters, breathtaking tropical islands, and unforgettable snorkelling experiences. This incredible boat trip promises to wow, with palm-fringed beaches, vibrant coral reefs full of marine life, and stunning sandbanks blanketed with starfish – a perfect, picture-worthy day to treasure forever.

Day 15 - Puerto Princesa, Underground River & Boat Cruise

Port Barton - Puerto Princesa. This morning, we set off towards Puerto Princesa, making a remarkable stop at Palawan’s iconic Underground River. Along the way, we’ll embark on an exciting boat cruise through the cave network, where you'll be captivated by the breathtaking underground stalactites and stalagmites, sculpted by nature over millions of years.

Day 16 - Puerto Princesa to Manila

Puerto Princesa - Manila. Today, we explore the stunning attractions of Puerto Princesa, the vibrant capital of Palawan. From the UNESCO-listed Underground River to the pristine islands of Honda Bay, with lush mangroves, diverse marine life, and rich local culture, it's a must-visit for nature lovers and explorers alike.

After exploring, we’ll catch a short flight back to Manila. We’ll check into our hotel for one last evening together upon arrival.

Day 17 - Goodbye Manila

This morning, our tour comes to an end today. You can depart making your way to the airport or your next destination. Although there is no departure transfer included, your tour leader will be available to help you plan your onward travel and is on hand to assist you. Safe travels!
