This was a great day...We did 22 miles of biking with the EBikes...The EBikes really helped! We normally do not bike and no extensive experience with bicycles is needed for this tour. Our guide, Pedro, was great! He answered every questions and was there to guide us throughout. We had sufficient time at the Cape to do the trails which added to the tour. The other tour companies' buses all rushed to the Cape where we had time to leisurely explore this beautiful area. The picnic lunch was very good. The roads were not congested and it all felt very safe....The equipment was very nice and in good working order. We went on some roads with hardly any traffic. I can't say enough about this great tour!

Overall this tour was good in terms of the guide's knowledge (very) and what it hoped to accomplish. You definitely cover a lot of ground and sights, however too much is packed into this tour to really enjoy any of it. Other feedback about this tour: (1) The guide picked us up from the hotel and was very friendly. However he appeared very unkempt wearing a dirty shirt and jeans. He also smoked throughout the day - even when he was giving a tour. I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke and so would be very far away and not able to hear any of his commentary. (2) Another rider on the tour was someone thinking of being a ''guide' for the company and to say he was annoying is an understatement. He constantly talked over the actual guide with his own commentary and at times felt he was 'leading' the tour so he had to be constantly ignored throughout the day. Feedback on him - he would be a terrible guide! (3) The ebikes are great as the extra help on the climbs is welcomed, however note that the riding is unguided. Each rider is given the route and where to meet the bus and then left to get there. 1 of the riders had a flat tire and fortunately other riders were behind him and so were able to alert the guide to his misfortune. (4) Since you are cycling to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, you don't reach these land marks until the afternoon and it was very busy by the time we got there. As a result, it was very crowded to get to these points and we were given very little time to see them and so you constantly feel very rushed. I think arriving at these points earlier in the day would be best to avoid most of the crowds, however this isn't possible with this tour.
