Kruger Wildlife Experience - 4 days
Kruger National Park is best known for the Big Five - lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino - and is undoubtedly the flagship of South Africa’s game reserves. Go in search of Kruger’s wildlife on this short safari, which is an ideal South Africa stopover for those visiting Johannesburg. Let Kruger captivate you!
Upon arrival in Hoedspruit, you will be met and transferred to your lodge situated in the Greater Kruger National Park area.
It’s said that Kruger has the greatest variety of wildlife in Africa. Lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, giraffe are present as are a profusion of herbivores. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies. It’s here that one can (hopefully!) view the Big Five in abundance.
Settle in to your accommodation and spend the afternoon at leisure before embarking on a sunset game drive in the private concession, followed by dinner.
Reaching the destination: You can fly into Eastgate Airport, from where you will be collected by a representative from the lodge. Please note that if you book the deluxe version of the Kruger Wildlife Experience, there is also the option to fly into Arathusa Safari Lodge. Flights are not included in the package rate. Alternatively a shuttle transfer service is available from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to Hoedspruit town, Eastgate Airport or designated transfer collection points in close proximity to the lodges (optional and at additional cost).

The natural ecosystem offers the opportunity to have close encounters with the animals that traditionally roam this area. During the day sit back, relax at your lodge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and sounds of the wild!
