We had an amazing tour with your company. for each day we knew exactly what we had to do and where and when we had to go or be ready. Our tour guide Sham and our driver Abel we had for the first few days and we can not speak more highly of them.Sham was an expert experienced guide and Abel drove very carefully. They are both very good assets to this company and made us feel safe and comfortable all the time we were with them. When we went into the Jungle with SI tours they too were excellent. The accommodation chosen was also of very high quality. Thank you On the Go tours for making our Borneo holiday great.”
We had 3 tour guides and all were first class. Their local knowledge was excellent.
They were always friendly and very helpful. Our tour guide in Vietnam Sy almost had a mutiny on his hands when he told the group the overnight boat trip on Halong Bay had been cancelled due to bad weather. As you can image after a 5 hour journey only to be told it was cancelled was extremely disappointing and we had to turn around and endure another 5 hours back to Hanoi.... not a happy group but Sy did his best and arranged a couple of other activities which, for me were not of interest as I had already done them on a previous visit and the only reason to visit Vietnam again was to go to Halong Bay. Bit disappointed. ”
Mhor , our tour guide , was absolutely phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable about the country , its history and its culture which he shared with us in ways that we could never have experienced on our own, relating his own life experiences to what we were doing and seeing. He catered to our every need and kept us informed about our itinerary daily.
The only reason I don't rate the tour 5 star was because we would have liked to spend a bit more time at , for instance , the floating hotel and the Mon Lodge and maybe cut down on some of the time spent at the ruins and temples and the bridge over river Kwai. Also one small recommendation: please let future tour guests that no washcloths were available in the overnight accommodations. We missed that !”
