This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Baga, Baga, Catalonia

Where else but in Europe can you visit three countries in one day? Three different countries, three distinctly different atmospheres, stunning drives, and breathtaking scenery.

Depart from Barcelona at 7am, and relax during the scenic journey to Bagà. You will have the chance to marvel at the majestic rocky peaks in the Cadi-Moixeró National Park as we drive to Bagà.

In Bagà, as this sleepy village comes to life, you can get a fresh pastry or sandwich in the local bakery, or a coffee in one of the many typical cafes, before rejoining your guide who will give you a short walking tour of the village before leaving you free time to explore alone.

From Bagà, we will head deeper into the countryside as we drive towards the French border.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Thermes d'Ax, Teich, Ax-les-Thermes France

Your next stop is the charming and beautiful ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes.

Your guide will recommend some of the best natural fountains to visit, and those best suitable for soaking your feet in. You will then have free time to enjoy the healing waters, browse the local artisan shops where you can buy local cheeses and cured meats, as well as looking out for a souvenir to remember your visit. After a while of wandering around this typical French village, its time to choose from one of the many local restaurant for a tradition French lunch.

After a memorable French experience, you will meet back at the bus to head towards Andorra.

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

Stop At: Pas de la Casa, Pas de la Casa, Encamp Parish

The route takes you through the beautiful Pyrenees Alps to Andorra. One the way we will cross the Pas de la Casa, an amazing high mountain pass with some stunning photo opportunities.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Valle de Incles, Incles Andorra

As we descend into Andorra, we will stop at a typical mountain valley where you will get a glimpse of how Andorra used to be. From here, we will head down the valleys into Andorra La Vella.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Andorra la Vella, Andorra la Vella, Andorra la Vella Parish

Andorra la Vella is the capital of the small but stunning country of Andorra, located high in the east Pyrenees, between France and Spain.

This will be our last stop of the day, but you will have enough time to do a little bit of duty free shopping, grab a quick bargain or walk around its old stone streets and houses.

At about 3:45pm, we will return to the bus and head back to Barcelona via a different route.

This drive takes you through dramatic gorges, past verdant farming land, and alongside lakes and rivers, before the landscape levels out and the lush tones of green of the fields and the shinning grey of the mountain rocks are replaced by the dusty orange and brown hues of this arid landscape.

You will stop enroute for a chance to stretch your legs and quench your thirst, before arriving back in town at about 7:30pm

Duration: 1 hour

What an enjoyable experience traveling to these 3 great places. Baga was cute and quaint. France was stupendous and Andorra was a charm. i am really glad I got to see these 3 places and would recommend to anyone who wants to take a sneak peak.

This tour was the first one I booked on my first solo trip to Barcelona, Spain. I was super excited to walk the streets, eat the eats, and go on day trips to explore the city! I booked the 3 countries in 1 day tour on a Saturday morning from 7am-7:30PM. My tour guide's name was Jordi, he was fantastic! I highly recommend booking with him on this tour or even for freelance tours! We started the day on a mini bus with about 10-12 ppl total. I love smaller groups, it makes me feel included instead of lost. We drove to the first town of Baga where we were able to pick up some hot, delicious coffee and the tastiest croissants I've ever tasted. I picked up one butter and one dipped in chocolate! So tasty! I also thought it was cute that they even had a butcher, a baker, and probably a candle stick maker if we looked hard enough around the corner. The next area we drove to was Ax-Les-Thermes in France. We got to walk around this Beauty and the Beast-esque town where I'm sure Gaston could have popped out and started serenading us and it would not have been strange. We had the option to walk around and dip our feet in the naturally occurring hot springs foot spa in the middle of the town. I picked up some ethnic pizza and snagged some really great French skincare brands that are oh so expensive in the States. Score! The last area we drove to was Andorra. It was a little bit of a shock, since we drove through this tunnel and the scenery was all green, and after the 5 min tunnel, the landscape had turned to thick snow! This was November, but it was a great surprise! We stopped at the border and Jordi collected our passports and went and got them stamped while we played in the snow! He was even kind enough to stamp both my passports, since I have dual citizenship. I mean, why not right? We stopped in the main street and Jordi directed us to the many shopping areas we could go to for the next hour or so. I picked some really cool Andorra Euro coins. ( I had to ask several shops to collect some). I hit up the Hard Rock Cafe to pick up some collector shirts for my parents and I. I also tried to find some cool last minute souvenir gifts for friends and family back in the U.S. Andorra is really great for shopping since it is cheaper to shop there compared to Spain or France. I highly recommend getting your liquors and higher priced items here to save a little money. At the end of the adventure, Jordi treated all of us to a round of drinks! So cool and thoughtful. Loved it!

Each of the three towns (in 3 countries) was well worth the visit. We enjoyed walking through them and getting a sense of what it would be like to live there.

This tour was provided by Explore Catalunya. The meeting spot was clear, the check in process was easy. Our tour guide, Alex was amazing! She was funny, engaging, and really helped us connect with the locations. Her English is great, so no issues with understanding.

An early start,Xavier our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable,a 1.40 minute drive to a small Spanish town, time for a coffee and pastry.Next stop in France at a spa town,a longer time to soak your feet in the healing waters,or time to shop at the local market or drink coffee, then a drive through the beautiful Pyrenees mountains, this is why I came to see these spectacular mountains.Andorra is duty free shopping so disappointing unless you like to shop till you drop.Another short stop on the way back to Barcelona.A 12 hour day but very enjoyable day,Xavier was excellent guide.

Pablo was excellent. At first he was peculiar but his humor and ability to involve everyone from the youngest (5) to the oldest (probably me) was remarkable. Humor and interacting made it one of the best tours I have ever been on. He made a 12 hour tour look like a moment in time. He is a credit to his profession. I would work hard to keep him on board as he is a one of a kind. Good man!

I must say right off the top that our tour guide was excellent. Our tour guide was attentive, intelligent and knew about his country and was factual about history. He was easy to listen to and to follow along. Each stop was explained thoroughly and I never felt pressured. We had an adequate amount of time at each location. Arnold was our guide and I commend him. Thank you for a wonderful day!

I found this tour thanks to Kate McCulley, who writes the Adventurous Kate blog. After reading her review of Andorra, I realized I should do something unique and memorable with my family that would include Andorra la Vella, the interesting, if a little boring capital city of Andorra. Therefore, three countries in one day sounded like something that I would never forget. Because I did not know what to expect, I read Crystal and Candy's review from Travel Pockets, which detailed their journey in their blog and it helped me better prepare my family and I on our trip. To make the best of the trip, research a bit about the cities that you will visit before going and make a brief checklist of things that you can cover in the small towns for around an hour. I would like to thank Miguel, our tour guide, for his informative take on our three destinations.

Cam was wonderful and the trip was long (expected) and great opportunity. Loved Andorra picture opportunities.

It was a long day in a mini bus that was semi air-conditioned (As Americans we are used to more air conditioning, but honestly was on par for European air conditioning standard...) But the views out the window were spectacular! I love the mountains, thus we chose this trip, and we got to see a lot of variety in them. Each town had its unique charm, and was interesting to see each. We had a little over an hour to explore at each, which was enough to get a glimpse- would have liked more but understandable as atleast a long day. Overall the guide and driver were great, knowledgeable, and nice! Cam made sure to give us good direction ideas in each town. We would recommend this tour highly!!

Would highly recommend this tour. The guide Enrique was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The scenery is magnificent- definitely instagram worthy shots. There was plenty of time to explore the places the we stopped at and over all I’d say a good value for money.

First of all, I would like to thank Viator for being so considerate as to granting my request about the seating. It made my travel experience comfortable and so much better. Now about the tour; It was great to be able to visit three countries in one day, especially Andorra. Considering it's not very accessible unless you drive there yourself. Luckily for us, this tour made it possible. During the tour we've covered lots of ground and enjoyed beautiful scenery. Be aware tho that this is a "road-trip" so you'll be in the bus most of the time. So be quick with your camera shots along the road because there's so much Insta-worthy pic to take! :P Our tour guide, Jordi was very informative and had great knowledge about the places that we've visited. He also made sure that we had fun (having considerable amount of time during stops for picture taking on the best spots!) and a wonderful time. Our driver, Jose was always waiting for us after every place of visit and made sure we were safe on the road. "safety first, belts on" so he says! I only wish we had more time to stay on each place, but hey! three countries in one day! you cant really ask for more. It was a great tour and highly recommended!

This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Miguel and driver, Tony were the best. Very friendly and knew so much information about the 3 countries. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and have already recommended it to other friends.

We forgot our passports and Viator accomplished what we thought was impossible by rebooking our trip the very next day and Steven our tour guide and the front desk Director was absolutely and friendly. I wish I had gotten her name. She made it all possible. Thank you viator. I have and will always book with Viator. The tour was absolutely beautiful.

Our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable and provided a good over view the sights along the route and the places we stopped at along the way. The tour group was comparatively small and we traveled in a comfortable air conditioned minibus. Our tour had an unexpected detour due to a tunnel accident, but we were able to travel to France on surface roads and saw more of the Pyrenees and the countryside we would have missed if we had taken the shorter tunnel route. Baga and Ax Les Thermes are pretty villages. Andorra was a fun shopping stop. Overall this was a very nice day trip especially if you are interested in seeing the countryside outside Barcelona.

Incredible trip! It was a long day, but the guide was amazing. He made sure to talk to each group of individuals on the trip to understand where they are from, how long they're stay, and suggested places to go see and where to eat. The history he shared on each location was incredible. Would very much recommend this trip.

A great tour to see the Spanish and French countryside. The French town we went to was only moderately interesting but we were in France and could eat French food for lunch. I really liked seeing what Andorra looked like--it is a mountainous small country with skiing and tax-free shopping. Our tour guide Sergio was very good.

This was the best tour of our stay in Spain and it was primarily because of our tour guide, Xavier. He was knowledgeable, fluent in English and funny. He made it GREAT!!!
