Bang Pa-in Palace is ancient palace back to Ayutthaya era. This palace was built by King Prasart Thong and then it was rebuilt by King Mongkut after it’s abandoned for long time. The palace is divide into 2 zone one is inner zone that for royal family to use as a resting place the other zone is outer zone that open for normal people and tourist. According to Bang Pa-in Travel Guide there are a lot of place tourist can pay a visit in this palace. Hem Montein Tewa Raja Tower (King Prasart Thong Shrine). This was built in Khmer style by King Mongkut in addition to honor King Prasart Thong the one who first built this palace. Aisawan Thiphya-Asana Royal Pavilion. This royal pavilion was built by King Mongkut at the middle of palace’s basin. It is a copy of Arporn Phimok Prasart royal pavilion in Bangkok and named follow by the first royal pavilion that build by King Prasart Thong in the past.

Wat Mahathat, “the temple of the Great Relic” was one of the most important temples in the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Located on the historical island the large monastery features a huge central prang, a very large principal viharn and ubosot and a great number of subsidiary chedis and viharns. The upper part of its once massive central prang has collapsed. Today only the base remains.

Wat Na Phra Men or the Monastery in Front of the Funeral Pyre sometimes called
Wat Na Phra Meru is located off the city island in the northern area of Ayutthaya in Tha
Wasukri sub-district. The temple is located along Khlong Sra Bua and the north bank of
the Khlong Mueang just opposite the ancient Grand Palace. It was registered as a
National Historic Site with the Fine Arts Department on 25 February 1935.

Wat Lokayasutharam is situated at Pratoochai District, behind the Ancient Palace and the Pratoochai Primary School, in the area 0f Wat Worapoh (Wat Rakhang) and Wat Worachettharam.
Wat Lokayasutharam is 800 meters from Wat Phra Mongkon Bophit. Wat Worachettharam and Wat Worapoh are also closeby. Nevertheless, we had quite some difficulty finding Wat Lokayasutharam, likely our otherwise good Ayutthaya map, was a bit off the mark.
