Randy was a great guide - funny, great driver, and knew a lot of information to share. Monterey was great! however, we had no idea we would stop so long - or even visit - Pebble Beach Golf course. It meant we only had about 45 minutes in Carmel. we are not golfers so the time there was wasted on us. I'm sure golfers would enjoy it - but why let it cut into time in the towns you advertise the trip is about? The scenery on the 17 mile drive (and the trip in and out of San Francisco) was terrific!

It was a long day but well worth it. So much beautiful sights to see along the way. Lots of bathroom and photo stops on the way. The driver was a wealth of info and so into it. He had so much to share and we really thought he made the day. We did the trip on 9-16-19 and our driver was white middle aged man with a pony tail. He lived in Oakland. I waited too long to write the review and forgot his name. I hope you know who this is. We thought he made our trip so much better than it could of been. A couple didn't come back to the bus when we were supposed to leave and he waited quite a while. He then started driving to find them. We did and they were mixed up on what time to be back at the bus. I said something to the nature of missing time to see something on our our trip. He told me that wouldn't happen. I am sure he could of cut our trip short due to the lost time but he didn't. If you a golfer you will really enjoy Pebble Beach. I loved it and I don't play but it had much more meaning to my husband. We didn't go to the aquarium because we felt we didn't have enough time. If we had more time there we would have but we had never been there.

Seamlessly arranged from the UK prior to our holiday in SF, everything was on time, a range of great stops and our guide was Danilo, very friendly and courteous, 100% recommended this trip and this provider.

Interesting experience, well planned trip with frequent stops in amazing spots. The driver (Randie) was very friendly, informative and highly motivated, which made the tour very appealing. Highly recommended!

Wonderful tour and a great driver. Only wished we had more time in Monterey. Loved the 17-Mile Drive, very pretty! Great shopping in Carmel!

The day started at 8am and our driver Danilo was welcoming and friendly. He explained where we would be going and how long for and also photo stops. There were only 26 of us on the coach so we could spread ourselves out in comfort. We stopped at Pigeon Point which has a beautiful coastline. Then we went into Monterey and Cannery Row. We spent a couple of hours here, some people went to the aquarium whilst we wondered round the shops and had a lunch. Personally I don’t think that two hours is enough time to do both the aquarium and the shops/lunch. We stopped at Bird Rock where you can see the sea lions perched on the rock. We then drove through 17 mile drive, awesome place, magnificent coastal scenery and wonderful golf courses. We stopped for a short while at Pebbles Beach where the next US golf championship will take place in 2027. Following this our last stop was Carmel lined with expensive designer shops, little coffee shops and others. You can walk down to the beach as we spent approx 1.5 hours there. We then returned to San Francisco after a wonderful day and was so pleased we had chosen this trip.

Monterey, 17-Mile Drive, and Carmel is a MUST-DO Full Day Tour from San Francisco. It has all the elements of a great picturesque bus ride with all the necessary stops for pictures and taking in the key attractions along the way (such as Cannery Row, The Lone Cypress, Bird Rock, China Rock, Pebble Beach, and the upscale quaint shops and well-manicured dogs of Carmel). Our Tour Guide, Danilo is the best. Request him. Danilo knows the history, is charming, personable, patient, and an excellent Driver and Tour Guide. The Monterey et al Full Day Tour from San Francisco is one of the tours to do on the West Coast.

Everything that was promised in the Viator website was correct. Doug, the tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much. Ample time was allowed at all stops.

This is such a good tour to do when staying in SF - Antonio was our driver - really good informative, very chatty and funny, went out of his way to accommodate everyone. You must also go to the Aquarium in Monterey - best I have seen - wished I could have stayed there longer. Would not bother with Carmel on the way back, very over priced and just full of designer shops!

Don was a great driver/tour guide. Lots of opportunities for photos and food/bathroom breaks. Too much time spent in Monterey and too little time in Carmel. One hour there is not enough.
• Submitted 03 Jul 2019
Very knowledgeable driver/guide. Managed to see a few extra sights during the day which was a bonus.
• Submitted 03 Jul 2019
Are the most important things I find on a trip like this, is the driver. Did a very good job of narrating the trip pointing out fun things along the way. the stops seem to be well-planned, my wife and I had adequate time to look around and grab meals.
