Our tour guide, Eleanor Grondin, was great. We got to experience SO MUCH delicious food and especially liked visiting the Borough Market. She also sent us a list of what we ate and where which was very helpful.”

“
Such a memorable experience! We all got treated so generously... Our local guide Tom brought us through the market to try so much different things including the best sticky toffee pudding, the best fish and chips, the best coffee and doughnuts in England, egg and ham bun, British cheese and cheese in red wine, cider, mead, sausage rolls and toffees, and much more. At the end of the tour everyone was stuffed and happy. I can sincerely recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good food and who is looking for a memorable local experience in London.”

“
Our guide Steve was very informative and entertaining guide. Together with a lot of interesting stories we tasted a lot of delicious drink and food. I have been to borough market several times but I knew a lot of things through the tour. People who joined the tour was fantastic too and I was very glad to join. This is highly recommended.”

“
Steve our guide was wonderful and a wealth of knowledge. With an Australian connection also. Food was great and did not finish hungry. Worth the day trip from Paris. Give it a go as you will not have any regrets.”

This is a wonderful tour. Our tour guide David was very knowledgeable, and great fun which added to the wonderful sampling of good food and drink. We did this tour at the end of our stay and looking back I would highly recommend it at the beginning as you can go back and further enjoy the food. We'll be back and well worth the money. Thank you”

Went on the food tour upon arriving in London and thoroughly enjoyed. Started with egg and bacon sandwiches, followed by fish and chips, sausage rolls along with donuts and pudding, among other things. Everything was delicious-all at the Borough Market.”

“
This was probably the highlight of my trip! Our tour guide was super sweet, found us all the delicious food under the bridge, AND she knew so much history! I learned more in that tour than I did in the other no-food, boring tour guides I hired prior to her. Would go a thousand times again! This is a priority must do if you visit London!!”

“
Our guide, Ed, was very welcoming and was a good communicator. This is my fifth food tour, and the one where we received the most to eat. The portions were good, as was the variety. Ed told us a lot about the area and it was a great tour.”

“
Absolutely recommend this tour. Our group was just two couples, which was lovely. Our tour guide Ella was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable. She said we’d eat and drink a full days’s worth and we did. With everything we ate, we learned the history and origin of it all as well as how the market functioned 1000 yrs ago and today. The three hours flew by. Twice we had a little time to ourselves to wander, with Ella pointing out some of her favorite market stands. We are now spoiled by the fish and chips from Fish Kitchen, best I ever had. And two desserts...if you love to explore local food, this is the tour to take. Great customer service too.”

“
This was a wonderful experience -- even on a rainy day in May 2018! We were introduced to Borough Market near London Bridge, Pickfords Wharf, the Mug House, and the surrounding South Bank area. It was a small group only 4 of us, so very personal attention from our guide not now recalling her name, but who was a delight, and we had plenty of opportunity to explore and taste on our own as well as a group. A great way to experience a part of London that we all know is there, but don't quite know how to access. If you wish to explore London not in a typical touristy way, book this foody, walking tour -- you'll feel like a local!”

“
Food tours really get you to the heart of the city. WE concentrated in and around Borough Market. There were the actual growers of the food and the wholesalers. On the other side of this huge market were all those who prepared this very fresh food and served it to the customers. Our guide took us through the markets, we engaged with the purveyors and tasted good sized portions of 7 or 8 foods and beverages. All were excellent. The guide was very personable and familiar with the food servers and preparers. She knew the history of the area. Small group made it fun. Highly recommend his tour.”

“
This was a great tour. My husband and I really enjoy the market and all the food. It was so helpful to have a tour guide to point out the best foods to try. From what I read on other reviews, our tour guide wasn't as informative about London history, but he still did a good job. I would definitely recommend this tour.”

“
Took the afternoon tour and it turned out we were the only ones scheduled so it became a private tour. Our guide was Chris and he was great! We started the tour by crossing the street and within 2 minutes we were seated and great food was arriving at our table. There were a number of different dishes including fish and chips, scotch eggs, sticky toffee pudding, cheese plate, beer and cider and a donut for dessert. There was so much food I'm not sure I've remembered it all. We had a chance to spend time in the Borough Market and worked in some of the history of London as we walked around and Chris pointed out a number of sites that you may not see during a typical tour. We came hungry, we left full and Chris gets 5 stars from us for a great tour!”
