Dave our tour guide was engaging and very knowledgeable. Great to have insight into the history of the city .

Our guide was excellent. We spent four hours getting a overview of the history, unique lane ways with a insightful guide

We did the tour with Chris, great knowledge of all the areas of Melbourne we visited and more. Having lived and worked in the city for many years he was able to show us places and buildings we would not have done or noticed on our own. Throughout he tried to keep us away from any large tourist groups, so we could view and listen to his explanations without any hassle, even to the extent of finding shady areas on a very hot day ! His knowledge of the financial areas gave us the opportunity to visit a must if you visit the city, the ANZ bank, some odd but the interior is a fantastic sight and Chris took us to areas we felt sure another walking tour wouldn't have.

The tour was amazing! Our walking guide was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the city that we could have not learned by just walking around. The tour is balanced, walking isn’t too much, as we were stopping and getting info on various places. We also had one 15 min free coffee/drink stop.

Chris was very knowledgeable and very amusing. A great way to see and understand the history of several of the main features of Melbourne. Fun afternoon. I highly recommend. We took tour in mid February.

It was really informative and our family enjoyed it tremendously! Dave was really accommodative and really helpful, witty and definitely gave us little nuggets of information many locals would not know as well. Not too intense of a tour, just the right amount of walking and duration.

Great tour. Saw areas that we would not have otherwise seen, and Steve always had interesting anecdotes to make them come alive.

This is an excellent introductory tour of central Melbourne with lots of history and lots of walking. We actually took this same walking tour four years ago -- liked it so much that we did the repeat -- to relearn things and see new things the lanes in Melbourne are a living changing thing. It is a pretty heavy walking tour so folks with walking issues need to be aware of this. Our guide was excellent funny and informative. I'd recommend this tour for any first time and perhaps some second time visitors like us visitors.

Wonderful tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the sitting. There weren't too many options for tours, but we wanted to learn some of the background of Melbourne. This tour exceeded our expectations. We viewed beautiful graffiti walls and different alleyways. There was time to take pictures without feeling rushed. Which was great. This is a small company and the owners really care about giving guests a great experience. Highly, highly recommend,

I had a great time and learned a lot about the history and changes of Melbourne. Chris was a passionate and knowledgeable guide and even treated the group to a nice coffe midway through the tour. Time and money well spent and I would recommend the tour.

Chris was brilliant, knew everything and all the wee hiding places. Excellent pace, loved the street art and really felt like I saw way more of Melbourne doing this tour.

This was an excellent tour. We walked through interesting lanes, had a great chocolate morning tea and lunch at a restaurant we would otherwise never considered or found. It was great. Our guide was knowledgeable and witty and we made friends with our fellow walkers and caught up with them every few days as they too were attending Wagner's Ring Cycle of operas. It was a good way both to learn about Melbourne's history and get a good grasp of the layout of the central city.

It was excellent value and Chris was a great guide. We learnt so much more than we ever could have done wandering around on our own. Highly recommended. Joan and Vicki

Very informative and fun.

Highly recommended! I'm really glad I did this given the short amount of time I had to experience Melbourne. I saw buildings, lanes and arcades I probably wouldn't have stumbled upon if left to my own devices. Tons of great Kodak moments and I learned a lot about the history and architecture of Melbourne. Very informative!

Have been to Melbourne many times but this was the first time we did the walking tour. Chris was outstanding and so knowledgable. His passion for the city shone through on a drizzly Melbourne day. I recommend it to all visitors.

I booked this in an effort to push through the jetlag on my first day in Melbourne and it was fantastic. For a modern city there plenty of history to learn. Graffiti sites are brilliant and our guide was so helpful in making recommendations for the rest of your time there

A thoroughly enjoyable tour, we saw and visited place/things we never would have seen without a guided walking tour. Our guide Chris was really interesting and had a vast knowledge of all things 'Melbourne'. I would thoroughly recommend doing this tour on the first day of a trip to Melbourne, then heading back to investigate the interesting little arcades and laneways that intrigued.

I have done a number of walking tours in different places and find them a great way to find out more about a location. This was another such experience and I was able to learn about the history of the areas we walked through with certain features identified that the casual eye may not have noticed. Chris was able to share info re Melbourne past and present and with the speed of turnover in the street art in the Laneways even he was treated to something new! He was able to keep diverse interests tweaked from the different folks on the tour. Thanks, Chris for an enjoyable few hours. :

Despite a cloudy afternoon, threatening rain, we had a wonderfully paced tour covering so many aspects of Melbourne. With a great mixture of history, culture, architecture and the changing scenes of Melbourne, we were assisted to see a lot more than we had ever perceived. we appreciated the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas as we walked.
