Great ship. Great staff. Well organized. Good commentary. The experience itself is priceless. Kuokkas are so adorable. Love them so much. But I still did see some young European backpackers touch them. I know they are cute, but your hands might carry bacterias, I don’t think its allowed to feed or touch the animal. Kuokkas are so friendly, they allow you to take photos up close. That’s enough no? No need to pick them up and pat like your cat. lol. Really beautiful island. Love it!

The tour is great and worked well with ferry and bike rental. There was a pick up available, but it doesn't determine the pick up time correctly. In my case the ferry left Perth for Rottnest Island at 8:45 and pick up was confirmed for the same time. Had I waited for it, I would have missed the tour. Maybe someone can look into it.

If you are planning to complete a round cycling of Rottnest Island, make sure your family are fit for that because you will need to cycle around the up and down hill with a distance of more than 10km. Obviously these 2 conditions didn't suit young children. I just did a short distant ride withcthe objective to find wild quokkas. We were lucky because it was easy to locate them as there was plenty of them. they are just everywhere. Everything was according to my expectation except the wheather. It was raining, but we still managed to enjoy the trip. View also very nice and I love it so much.

Was such an amazing day. We rode 10.5km around the island. Stopped many time to take photos of the most breathtaking coastal views. But the best experience was the Quokkas. So cute and timid, they are everywhere in the cafe and shop area, there is also a very friendly peacock. The staff are really helpful and super friendly. You really will love it.

First time to Rottnest Island - lived up to expectations from reviews. We were a family of 4 and hired bikes for the day - we made it around the island but didn't allow for no drink stations on the opposite side of the Island. Would recommend if you intend on going around the entire island that you carry enough water. Great day and would go again next time in the State of WA.

beautiful weather, awesome scenery and quokkas, what more can you ask for. Had a great day exploring the island by bike and saw plenty of quokkas.

Fantastic place with breathtaking sights. The snorkelling is excellent and the wildlife is wonderful. Enjoyed every minIt’s of it and the Quokkas are lovely.

Rottness is a beautiful island and by having the bikes we were able to find a stunning empty beach . It was a great way to spend a birthday, and plenty of quokkas came out to say hello . I would highly recommend a trip to Rottness if you are visiting Perth or Freemantle .

We arrived a little late at the ferry terminal and the counter staff graciously put us on the next ferry - ferries to Rottnest Island run hourly from 7.30 to 11.30 but do go earlier than your booking time as they leave quite promptly. We collected our bikes upon arriving at the island and had no issues with the rental equipment throughout. Renting a bike to explore the island was definitely the best option - don't forget to get a map so you know which way to go.

Making reservation with Viator is convenient since the ferryservice is crowded. Everydish was realy nice at the buffet restaurant reserved.

We went specifically to interact with quokkas and had fun doing so much more. The ferry ride is quite pleasant and biking around the island is some work but the snorkeling spots are worth the effort. Quiet sandy beaches this time of year and not over run with tourists.

We did this while on a 3 day visit to Perth. Well worth the money: ferry took us down the scenic Swan River and out into the Indian Ocean, arriving at Rottnest Island. We booked bikes, so when walking off the ferry, were given 3-speed bikes. There are some hills, so gears are essential. Using the map given to us at the ticket booth in Perth, we chose a route and spent the day on the car - free road busses only, and an occasional truck. Stopped at various beaches for a dip, and at lighthouse. Plenty of lunch spots.

Sehr schöne Tour, man hat genügend Zeit die Insel mit dem Velo zu erkundigen, das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker.

Reliable pick-up and bike rental. There is no tour guide, but this is okay since the island is small and easy to navigate

It was a slick operation. Everything was on time. The only problem was it would have been nice when you book on Viator you got a boarding pass on to the boat. When we got there we had to line up in a huge line to show them our documents to get tickets to boarding the boat. A lot of stress with everyone hurrying as the boat was loading.

The 25 naut winds made it too hard for me to bicycle the island, but that had nothing to do with the tour. They left promptly and were easy to reach. The bicycles worked fine. I loved the daring small museum which did a good job of evoking the sad aboriginal convict history of the island. And then to negate that sad affect, the jubilant leavers who had just finished their exams were having a merry time in the small cottages for let.

Thoroughly recommend this tour with the bike hireand snorkel weather/season permitting. Peaceful, tranquil, able to tour the island at your own leisure, either make a picnic, or eat at one of the establishments there. Great scenery, wildlife, and a nice peaceful tranquility. Bicycle riding suits all levels. Tour guide on express boat down very knowledgeable too. Good value for money

A fantastic day out and tour! I loved the island and wish I could stay longer. The cycling was great, however we didn’t really take advantage of the snorkelling gear. We were a group three girls in our late 20’s / early 30’s with average fitness levels (maybe slightly lower) The weather conditions were perfect for cycling. We started off the day with cycling the coast to Cape of York and stopping for a break before heading back using the Defence road, then Digby Drive passing through the lakes. We had lunch at the Rottnest Lodge. We had a pleasant surprise to find that lunch was included in the tour price as we didn’t realise this before boarding the boat. Brilliant added bonus. Lunch was very nice. It was a small buffet that was fairly busy which meant that the food was constantly fresh. The staff were excellent. One waiter bought beef to our table so we didn’t have to wait for it and a waitress took us to an area in the lodge were it was guaranteed to find quokkas as we hadn’t seen them yet. In the afternoon we cycled to Parker point. This seemed a bit more strenuous which could be because it seemed a little hillier or because we had heaps to eat at lunch. On the way back we stopped for a quick drink at Hotel Rottnest, which had an awesome outside area that overlooks the water. The process of collecting and returning the bikes and snorkelling gear was too easy. Most of the bikes seemed rusty, which isn’t really a surprise considering the amount they get sprayed with salt water of the ferry. My bike made a slight squeaking noise as I cycled, but wasn’t too bad. A lot of the bikes didn’t locked, but by the end of the day no one was locking them anyway. I loved Rottnest and I would like to stay longer on the island. Definitely worth a visit! I thought that this tour was a very well organised way to get there.

Very good trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. I picked up the ferry from Perth City - do be warned its a long trip to Rottnest from there, we were on the boat at 8.30 and it was gone 11 by the time we got to Rottnest, so do be prepared to spend a long time travelling if you pick the boat up from the city. The alternative is to get the boat at Fremantle. Lovely cycle round the island, although my 70 year old mother found the hills hard! The beaches were beautiful and the quokkas were seriously cute. A really good day out.

Rottnest Island is amazing! Due to high tides, we bused from central Perth to Freemantle where we boarded the express boat. The boat ride was uneventful and comfortable. Bicycles were ready on the pier and I quickly embarked on a lovely tour of the island. I believe it's about 18km around and is generally fairly flat. I made a point of stopping at every lookout and point of interest. The day was beautiful, the water was crystal clear and every beach was amazing. The entire ride took approximately3 hours at a very leisurely pace.
