Flying to Botswana from Australia:
The flight time from Australia to Botswana can take anything from 16 to 26 hours depending on which city you depart from and which day of the week you fly. For our tours that start or end in Botswana, Maun international airport will be the arrival/departure point though a number of our tours start in Maun and end in Victoria Falls, or vice versa, so you will need to book what's known as an open jaw ticket flying into one city and out of another. From the major Australian cities South African Airways and Qantas offer the quickest flight route to Maun via Johannesburg and also fly to Victoria Falls so are a good open jaw ticket choice. On certain days of the week an additional transit stop may be required. Check out Skyscanner for flight deals from Australia to Botswana.
