The tour was very educative. Plovdiv is very beautiful and nice to walk around with typical small town atmosphere. The views from top of the mountain are impressive. The other village is very small and full of interesting spots to take nice pictures. The experiment was very relaxing since it is another experience outside the city life of Sofia.

A long but excellent day led by Lubo who was fantastic. Plovdiv is beautiful. The day was made more fun by the tour being made up of a small group of like minded people.

It was great! The tour guide Chris at the start was a bit arrogant, but later until the end of the tour,, I found him to be nice and pleasant. He is knowledgeable and had given us a massive information about the places he had taken us. His service was above and beyond. He is a great tour guide and I highly commended him.

Truly wonderful experience on this tour. Both towns are so beautiful and it was a true pleasure to walk around them and learn their rich history. Although Plovdiv was absolutely lovely, Koprivshtitsa unexpectedly took my breath away all nestled up in the mountains. Two historically signficant cities with two very different vibes. We stopped twice between the two towns, once in a field so we could see and smell the Bulgarian roses, and another time at a viewpoint up in the mountains right before entering Koprivshtitsa to snap some photos. Really perfect! Our guide and driver were both named Chris and they were great. The guide Chris provided the perfect balance of informational, tourist time and time for us to explore on our own, break for meals, etc. All in all a perfect ending to my weekend in Sofia, would definitely recommend!

The trip to Bulgaria's second biggest city was absolutely great. I'd highly recommend this trip to anyone having a day to spare on their trip to Bulgaria. It's well worth the visit.

A long drive from Sofia, and then quite a bit of walking uphill. The historical sites were quite fascinating, and the guide was personable and able to share a lot about the history of the area. This tour was unexpectedly a highlight of my visit, and strongly recommended. Also, the restaurant we visited for lunch exceeded expectations. A very nice day!

This tour just got better and better by the hour. After a week exploring Bulgaria, I took this tour on my last day to see some last minute sights and it was the perfect end to a Bulgarian trip. Martin was a great tour guide - he gave us space to explore and ask questions, but had tons of information when we were at a site worth talking about. A nice bonus to the tour was that it wasn't all historical information Martin let you know a nice street to walk down on your own, which cafe's to avoid, the best place to grab a cold beer and even stopped into a few shops along our tour so we could pick up gifts to bring home. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. Its a full day tour, but I never felt tired - there are plenty of hours in a comfortable bus driving through the sunflower fields, mountains, and villages of Bulgaria. You could easily nap or just watch the countryside out the window. I was very impressed with this tour. Highly recommend.

Plovdiv and Koprivshtitsa were both charming and made for a really interesting contrast and complement to the more urban Sofia. I definitely recommend this trip. It is good value. Our guide was very knowledgeable.

Awesome tour, well worth your time! Martin was our guide for the day, hes very knowledgeable, funny, kept us on track, and was also flexible to provide options for members of the group who wanted to backtrack to see a sight. My husband and I really enjoyed our day on this tour, we appreciated the contrast of seeing Plovdiv, an urban center, with the town setting of Koprivshtitsa. Getting a small taste of the culture and history in both locations made for a delightful day!

were lucky, we were more than five, so besides the driver we got a very nice guide with us, Dafi, who explain a lot about Bulgaria during the trip and Told many stories in Plovdiv and koprivshstitsa. We spent a very enjoyable day with her, she knew when to let us sleep on the bus, when to tell the stories, when to spend 20 more minutes in a place and to leave. Everything run smoothly with her. She was able to take care of the needs of the group.

A most enjoyable, almost 12-hour, trip with a very knowledgeable guide. Even the traveling time between the two sites was used to provide interesting historical background. Well worth the price! Koprivshtitsa is a village with some well-preserved original dwellings with historical connections. Plovdiv is a city with all the historical buildings and scenery one would expect to see.
