My tour was a lot of fun. Your experience may vary, I think it’s highly dependent on the tour guide that you get. I’m not your typical tourist, I don’t care that much for just walking around and staring at buildings. I want to see how people live, learn about the community and culture that I’m experiencing, how the history of the country and town leads to the community I’m interacting with today. Having a one on one tour with a good guide allows you to do that. Also, because we had a driver we were able to drive around the city a bit and see some of the neighborhoods, the traditional way of living, as well as getting out of the downtown central city location. They went out of their way to provide that. My one complaint was that the “tour” of the park is really nothing more than driving through....we couldn’t even get up to the statue on the top of the hill. Still, the views were nice and it was fun to experience.

Our guide, Val, did an excellent job taking us around to see the various attractions on the city. She was attentive and personable. The time seemed too short but we saw a lot in the time we had.

This was a special and interesting way to get a wonderful insight into some of Santiago’s great spots. Carol, my guide was superb, introducing me in a friendly, informative and enthusiastic way to many places including Barrio Lastarria, Cerro Santa Lucía, La Moneda, Plaza de Armas and Bella Vista. Thoroughly recommended!

This car/walking tour of Santiago, conducted by our guide Vanessa and driver Jack, was truly an experience that provided us with sights across the city that gave my daughter and me a real sense of the city in all its aspects: culturally, politically, economically, and socially. We saw by car the beautiful view of Santiago from the high point of St. Christabel. And we saw where the nightlife takes place in Bella Vista, where people buy food in the marketplace, where people shop in downtown, where people worship, and where the government conducts its business. Vanessa gave us an enormous amount of information so I really feel we came away with an in-depth sense of what the people and the city of Santiago are like. It would have taken several weeks to find this on our own, and we could not have received all the information Vanessa knew. We were in Santiago for less than a week, so I was very happy with this tour of the city. I have to add that I was in England in May of 2018 and took two Viator tours there that were equally well done. I highly recommend Viator tours.

This was a great personal introduction to Santiago, which is a wonderful city for four of us traveling together. From our pick-up at our in-town hotel, we learned from Carol and Rodrigo about the city and country history, saw the major sites government, old churches, old homes and gardens of times gone by, museums, and learned about the development of Chile from the indigenous peoples to the Europeans who came in the 1500s. We walked some and drove around some it was a nice mix of being out but avoiding steep hill climbs. It provided enough of an overview to later explore in more depth on our own. We enjoyed it so much, two of us booked a separate private day trip to nearby Valparaiso and the wine country also highly recommended on our return to the city. We found the Chilean people to be very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe. Carol and Rodrigo both had excellent English skills, and were eager to share their country with us.

What an incredibly knowledgeable guide Rodrigo was. What he didn't know about Santiago isn't worth knowing. A wonderful half day experience visiting all the key spots - well worth the tour if you're short on time as I was. The chauffeur's driving was skilled and Rodrigo was so helpful and patient. Thank you so much!

Sergio and Max were extremely wonderful. Sergio has an extensive knowledge of history and the sights around Santiago. The historical backdrop makes the sights and sounds that's much more interesting. Both Max and Sergio went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our enjoyment...not only on the tour but on our entire trip by giving us advice on other things we may want to see. Highly recommend!
