Split - Makarska. This morning, you can take some time to enjoy breakfast and explore the sights of Split, before boarding our premium boat by midday, which will be our home for the next week. The boat features en-suite cabins, air conditioning, expansive sundecks, and a private bar for your convenience. We begin our cruise along the Dalmatian coast towards Makarska, where we will enjoy a three-course lunch on board, followed by a swim at our first stop.
This afternoon, we'll dock in Makarska, a picturesque resort town surrounded by mountains and beaches. You will have the rest of the day to explore Makarska at your leisure.
Makarska - Mijet Island. This morning, we are setting sail for Mljet, a remote island refuge located in the Adriatic. After a hot buffet breakfast, our captain will anchor in a secluded bay, introducing us to the Croatian rhythm of swimming, dining, and exploring. After enjoying another feast with locally sourced ingredients like meat, seafood, and fresh vegetables, we will dock our boat and explore the National Park by bike.
Mijet Island - Dubrovnik. As we sleep, our boat will journey south to the renowned fortress city of Dubrovnik. Beautifully situated on Croatia's coast, Dubrovnik is known for its walled old town and more than just Game of Thrones filming locations.
We'll begin our day by kayaking in the sea, admiring the views from the water. Afterward, we'll explore the stunning Old Town on a guided walking tour. When the sun sets, you will have the opportunity to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before experiencing Dubrovnik's world-class clubs and bars. You will have the opportunity to party in a castle, while in Dubrovnik.
Dubrovnik - Trstenik. Departing from Dubrovnik, we'll sail by olive groves and vineyards until our Captain decides to anchor in one of the hidden bays. You will have the day to explore the water by going snorkelling, practice your flips off the boat, or enjoy an ice-cold Ozujsku (a popular Croatian beer brand) while on board.
Later, we'll dock in the tranquil fishing village of Trstenik, known for its wine. Here, you can wander the untouched streets and experience the genuine essence of Croatia. In the evening, we’ll dress up a bit smarter for the captain’s dinner, complete with drinks.
Trstenik - Korcula. After breakfast this morning, we will continue sailing in paradise to Korcula, one of Croatia's most charming towns. This walled town, adorned with marble and centered around a stunning 15th-century cathedral, is a smaller, less crowded alternative to Dubrovnik.
Once we have explored the main attractions of Korcula as a group, you can enjoy a leisurely summer afternoon strolling through the Venetian Old Town at your own pace. Food enthusiasts can discover the eateries on the town's outskirts, and for those in search of a sunset cocktail, we have the perfect spot in mind.
Korcula - Hvar. After breakfast, we will spend the morning swimming in the crystal-clear waters, basking in the sun, or exploring the underwater world with a snorkelling session. During our free time, we can simply relax and take in the beauty of the Adriatic.
After a leisurely morning, we will enjoy lunch on board before setting sail for the glamorous town of Hvar, a renowned retreat where super-yachts line the harbour against a backdrop of stunning Renaissance architecture. Rising above the terracotta rooftops, we will make our way to the Spanish Fortress, where breathtaking panoramic views stretch across the Adriatic.
As the sun sets on the horizon and music drifts through the warm evening air, the island comes to life. Hvar’s vibrant nightlife offers an array of bars and clubs that stay open until the early hours, making it the perfect place for us to soak up the electric atmosphere and experience the island’s energy long into the night.
Hvar - Split. Today marks the final day of our sailing journey, but there are still plenty of adventures awaiting us ashore. As we sail back into Split, we’ll be treated to stunning views of the Riviera, before immersing ourselves in Croatia’s rich history with a walking tour of Split.
As we walk through Split, we’ll navigate cobbled streets, passing lively cafés and local markets. The Mediterranean sun shines on the stone buildings, and the sea breeze adds to the relaxed atmosphere. It’s a chance to experience the city’s mix of history and modern life before returning to our ship for a final night onboard.
After our final breakfast onboard, we’ll say goodbye to the pirate life and set off towards the spectacular Krka Waterfalls. As we wander through the lush surroundings, the cascading waters offer a refreshing escape from the summer heat, providing the perfect finale to your Croatian adventure.
On our return to Split, we’ll stop for lunch in the charming old town of Skradin, where cobbled streets and quaint cafés invite you to soak up the relaxed atmosphere. In the evening, you’ll have the chance to celebrate your journey with dinner, and drinks, toasting to the unforgettable experiences you’ve had throughout this Mediterranean journey with your fellow travellers.
This morning, our tour comes to an end. You can depart, making your way to the airport or your next destination. Although there is no departure transfer included, your tour leader will be available to help you plan your onward travel and is on hand to assist you. Safe travels!
