Take a seat in your air-conditioned minivan at 1:30pm or 2pm (depending on the season) in central Bordeaux, then spin out of the city toward Saint-Émilion to begin your 5-hour tour. Helena is an excellent tour guide . She gave an excellent overview of the local wine areas, terroir and production. Great tour of St.Emillion and then wine tasting at a chateaux. Great Sat morning adventure.

Well planned half day trip to St. Emilion. Our guide was lovely. She was a local from the wine region and had exceptional knowledge of the area. This was by far the highlight of our trip. Would highly recommend.

We were able to experience the differences between a modern winery and an old school family run winery. Both were amazing in their own ways. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I wish that we could have had more time in Saint Emilion, but that will be for another trip.

Our host/guide Jon was fantastic. He knows a lot about wine, food, and Bordeaux. I highly recommend the small group tours, they are worth the extra money to have a more private experience. We got to know some of the people in our group and made new friends. I have been to a lot of wineries, I live near Napa/Amador/and Lodi wine countries in California and am a member of several wineries and I promise that you will never learn as much as you will going on this wine tour to 2 wineries in Bordeaux. The wines are very good and you will enjoy the time to walk around in Saint Emilion where you will get a spectacular view of the small town. The food pairing is also a nice treat just when you start to feel that you need a snack. If you need advice for while you are in Bordeaux, I suggest contacting the tour company directly, they are happy to help. We got lucky and Jon was able to recommend a restaurant for dinner and call and make us reservations that day, but this is not a gamble you should take if you want to make sure you dine at one of the best restaurants in Bordeaux, try to book in advance of your trip.

This was an excellent tour, the highlight of my time in Bordeaux. We visited two vineyards, one a fairly large operation, the other quite small, both with very good wines. We were able to talk with the winemaker at one of the vineyards, which was a bonus. Also enjoyed our time in St. Emilion itself picturesque, very interesting village. Outstanding tour.

This was a terrific tour with a terrific guide, Jonathan. We visited two wineries, learned about the classification of wines, did some wine tasting and visited the small town of Saint-Emilion and its beautiful churches. Jonathan was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and winemaking.

Chloe was an absolute treat to have as a guide on our tour! She had great stories about the areas and the historical knowledge was perfect! The wine was truly great and the small group we were with made it even better! I would absolutely recommend this tour! This area was stunning and great wine!

This tour was way better that expected. Camille was a great host, and shared a lot of great information. And of course the wine tasting was amazing. Will definitely recommend this tour.

It was a wonderful tour. We got to visit a chateaux in Saint Emilion and then had some time to visit the historic town. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had an excellent time. I would definitely recommend.

Very well organised tour - Jonathan the Tour guide arrived on time and was excellent at keeping the conversation going and knowledgeable about the history of the wine, vineyards etc.. The two visits to the Chateau Guadet and Pomerol, as well as the wine tasting, were very informative, although I felt more time was needed for sight-seeing in St Emilion but again Jonathan was very informative. The tour was very enjoyable and I would highly recommend.

Highly Recommended!! Our guide Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful-and very funny as well. I have been on a few wine tours before but Jonathan's expertise surpassed any previous tour guides. He mentioned that he company only hires experienced tour guides and it shows. We went to two wineries and both were amazing. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend any time and I would even take the tour again. easily five out of five stars.

I did this tour last week and it was amazing! Jonathan was superb! He was knowledgeable and so much fun. I highly recommend this tour for a good overview of wines and the area of beautiful St-Emilion. The scenery on the drive to the last Chateau we visited was breathtaking. I learned a lot about wine and the region during the super tour, thanks to Jonathan.

Really great tour. Guide was excellent. Knowledgable. Personal service. Food and wine matching was good. Probably only missing item was a tour of the underground cathedral. Everything else made the tour highly worthwhile. David

This tour was advertised as a wine tour and tasting featuring cheese and a charcuterie tray. To suggest 4 thin slices of cheese and no charcuterie is a tasting is outrageous. The wineries, while pleasant, were not top tier and although our guide was knowledgeable, we were very disappointed Viator tours, in the past, have all been exceptional. I would not recommend this tour

As advertised as food and wine tour, we visited 2 places. In the first in St Emilion, we had a tour, then we offered a very small amount of 3 sparkling wines and a macaroon! At the vineyard we had a short tour of inside the building, then we tasted 3 different red wines, again a very small amount and were offered one piece of toast with home made jam and a very small amount of cheese on top. This can hardly count as food tasting, even if we only got 2 sips per wine! Having done previous tours with your company, especially in Rome food and wine walking tour, this is not worth the 77.89 per person. It was also a very crowded trip to both places in a van. However the host of the tour was lovely. But again, the whole trip was VERY over priced for what we got.
