Enter the premises and walk along Culture Gully at your leisure, an indoor boulevard teeming with restaurants that represent 14 Indian states. Sample an authentic meal (at own cost) from any of the restaurants that highlight the diversity in Indian cuisine, and experience the country’s uniqueness as you walk in and out of the shops – you’ll find yourself staring at Mumbai’s Gothic-style architecture one moment and then being offered local Goan treats from a beach shack the next.

A must if you want to see traditional/modern dances in India. Mesmerizing show, and the same goes for the venue as well.

This was great! Though the main draw is Zangoora (which I hear is fantastic), I saw Jhumroo, the lighthearted story of a goofy regular guy who aims to be a professional singer to win the girl, instead. The onstage tech was incredible. Because the panels for the backdrops were placed at varying distances from the audience, they created a feeling of depth; and because they were also digital displays, it allowed the production team to feature animated backgrounds and/or simulate motion (the hang glider number was definitely a highlight). The cast know how to have fun and involve the audience at various times during the performance (we are actually part of the cast!). The songs are infectiously catchy, the humor slapstick and sometimes over the top (in a good way!), and the story easy to understand, even if you don't understand Hindi (you will be provided with foreign language audio headsets). Culture Gully is a dining and shopping area adjacent to the theater that provides specialties from various regions of India.

Words can’t express how impressive the show was. Every part of it was funny, exciting, flashy and HIGH TECH!! The majority of show is in Indian language, but you get an English translating device which helps you understand what the actors/actresses are talking about during the show. But I thought I didn’t even needed it, because I was able to understand the show by just watching their gestures, storyline and English they spoke here and there. This place is like a theme park with rides, gift shops, cuisines from all over India and some fun attractions! I’d totally come back to see a difference show!

We were picked up promptly at our hotel by a very competent driver who spoke some English. We drove for 11/2 hours to the venue which was beautiful and worth seeing. Our driver got our tickets, showed us where to enter and then arranged to meet us after the show. We had been led to believe that a meal was included but this was not the case. Service at the restaurants was very slow but food was good. We saw The Gypsy Prince' or 'Jhumroo, which was only fair. The dance numbers were fun to watch but the acting very average. The play was in Hindi with no translator machines available for this show. Our driver met us after the show but the drive back to our hotel was over 3 hours. It was an interesting day but way too much time in the car and the crazy Delhi traffic for a mediocre show.

This tour has too many variables. We did the afternoon show of Beyond Bollywood. First problem is the traffic. 45-60 minutes to get there and 90 minutes back in the worst traffic ever. And that's with no accidents. There is one point in your drive that there are 15 lanes on each side. Bumper to bumper traffic with hundreds of motorcycles winding thru. It's a wow factor. When you arrive you have 40 minutes before the show. You have to get tickets and your meal card and go thru security. You go into the food arena to choose what you want to eat. We ordered Chinese. It was fairly quick service but you'll have about 10-15 minutes to choke it down. Our meals were piping hot so we only ate half the meal and they were starting the show. A waste of 16.50 per person. The show is in a large theatre. We had only a handful of people. It felt like a rehearsal. You could get translators for your tour, but they said the show was new and they would just give you the idea of the show. So no translator. The show has its' moments. The dancing parts are fun to watch. The singing is lip sync. The costumes are great and the stage and background are wonderfully done with technology. The downside is the rest of the play are all talking parts in Hindu, I believe. Our guide said we would get out at 4:30 and to be at the car by 5:00. We were hoping for dessert but the play finished at 5:15, so no dessert. Just a long traffic ride home. The dancing parts were great, but too many other variables mess it up.

There was a change in the program. We enjoyed the alternate show but we felt the tour cost is too much.

A rather surreal trip to a side of India you may not see. This is how the better-off in the country entertain themselves.

Just an OK performance. Dancing when it was on was energetic but the storyline was a tired one. Zangoora was only available on the day. We wanted a more Bollywood experience and possibly the Jhumroo show would have been better. The whole experience was destroyed by taking 3 hours in a car to get there from Delhi. The show had actually started by the time we sat down. Didn't have time to have dinner before the show and afterwards not wanting to waste time had to leave as soon as possible. Left our hotel at 4.30 pm and arrived back after midnight. Not a good experience for just a 2 hour show which included an interval and would not recommend if travelling from Delhi - If you want to see it - best if you are staying at a nearby hotel.
