India Travel Advice for Australian Travellers:
Safety of our travellers is paramount and we keep abreast of the latest travel advice to India. We recommend that you check the latest travel advice from Smart Traveller when planning your trip. Flying to India from Australia:
India is around a 12 hour direct flight from the Sydney and the main gateway and start point for most of our tours is New Delhi. The only direct service from Australia is with Air India and the quickest transit routes are via Southeast Asia. Singapore Airlines and Thai are a good choice, as you can fly with them all the way to India. Most other airlines code share, with onward connections to India with Jet Airways or Air India.
