Tour guide gave us a short back streets view of Venice around the square where you trade your paper ticket in for an audio receiver at the ticket office. Tour guide was very good and very knowledgeable. The guide then returns you to the ticket office where another leader takes you to a canal where many gondolas are waiting. It can be a little crazy getting into a gondola if it is busy. They will put in up to 6 people in one gondola so you may not get the "good seat". It's about an hour trip out to the Grand Canal and back along another canal to the starting point.

The tour guide was very informative and the city was gorgeous. Loved evey minute of it. The gondola ride was also nice considering its normally a lot more.

Our guide set a good pace. He shared his extensive knowledge with gusto. Ended with a nice gondola ride. Off my bucket list.

The gondola ride was worth the whole trip, was a little concerned but once on the ride was so neat. The walking tour was very informative with an excellent guide.

We booked this tour primarily because my wife wanted to experience a gondola ride in Venice. The walking tour was very interesting and our knowledgeable guide gave us insights into both the past history of Venice and some of the current issues facing his beautiful city. The gondola ride was a nice leisurely ride through quiet canals while just sitting back and enjoying the unique architecture of Venice. When you look at just the cost of a gondola ride alone this combined walking tour and gondola ride is an excellent value.

The walking tour was awesome. Our guide was funny and had a lot of interesting information she shared with us. The gondola ride on the other hand was okay because we had to share with 2 other couples (usually max of 6 people) so it was a little shaky and nerve wrecking at some points. Would do the Gondala ride alone as a couple if we were to do it again.

We loved ambering around learning about the wells in the squares and where italics was born. Thoroughly recommend.

The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a great introduction to Venice. The gondola ride was also a wonderful end to the tour.

Good tour and amazing gondola experience. I would recommend this to any first time visitors. Venice was moderate and not too humid when we were there, but it is vacation time for Italians so many of the local businesses were on holiday. Keep that in mind when scheduling

This tour did not take us sightseeing major attractions or hidden gems. Rather, our guide presented a brief history of the city and from there exposed us through walking around streets and squares to some of the intricacies of building, living, drinking, boating and even utilities and other interesting topics of this singular place. it was very educating, enriching and satisfactory. Gondola ride was a nice bonus to have and allowed us to see another angel of the narrow water passages and canals. Recommended !

Ifi took us to places where we could see how Venice developed as an unique city. She stated in the beginning this tour will not bring you to typical touristy places. She’s very knowledgeable and walks fast lol The gondola tour is a nice touch at the end!

The guide made all the difference. Gondola ride is shared. If you want your own individual gondola experience, book the gondola portion separately.

I was a bit sceptical as the cost of the tour was around waht we'd have expected for the gondola ride on it's own .. worked out brilliantly .. the gondola trip was ace, and the tour guide, a very knowledgeable local. Found out a few things we'd have never have appreciated had we tried to do this ourselves.

Unfortunately Venice was experiencing the coldest, wettest month of May in almost 70 years when we visited. In spite of the weather, our guide Andrea did his best to keep our walking tour in as many covered areas as he could find. Andrea was cheerful, knowledgeable and passionate about his home city and tried to make the tour as pleasant as possible. By the end of the tour we were cold and soaked, and gratefully we were able to reschedule our gondola ride for the next day when the sun came out. If it hadn't been for the rain it would have been perfect, but the weather was out of everyone's control. I definitely recommend this tour.

This was a great tour to get to know Venice and to experience a Gondola Ride. Julia was a wonderful guide and showed many things that we wouldn't have seen on our own. We highly recommend this tour for a great overview of Venice

Iffy was an awesome tour guide! A native of Venice, she had a lot of detailed information to tell us about Venice (things I had NO idea about like how they block of canals to clean buildings, etc.!). The walking tour was great - I wish there had been more (but it was long enough... I would have loved to see a second tour with more places to visit). We get to see a lot of "nooks and crannies" though! The gondola ride was cool! Our gondolier did not talk throughout the ride so if you are looking for a "guided" ride, this is not it But we did go quite a way through canals and out (briefly) in to the sea. It was a great way to see the city!

Really nice walking tour of the not so popular sites in Venice. Gondola ride was amazing! They even let us store our stroller on the boat.

Thanks to our wonderful guide and pleasant gondola trip. No issues and reliable tour recommended. Be ready for standing or walking 90 minutes.

Great guide! Really interesting local guide, funny and well informed about the history. Would recommend this tour - the Gondola ride was shared with 2 other couples which was unexpected but understandable due to the cost - would have been good to know in advance or have the option to choose a private one.

This tour is highly recommended. We had an awesome guide who showed us Venice- away from the crowds - the parts of Venice where the locals go Gondola ride was wonderful!

Guide was very nice and funny. Didn't take us to standard touristic places, instead took us around and explain many hidden and historic features of the city. Totally recommend it.
