Tour as decribed. Reasonably well organised. About the right number of stops at the right locations. Good narration.

Very good experience. The driver made many commentaries during the ride which made the trip from Christchurch to Queenstown very interesting. I booked the tour with the lunch buffet at the Hermitage. The food was really great, with a nice view on Mt Cook. I just wish I had more time after lunch (1h break) to visit the surroundings a bit more and take more pictures. Other than that, the trip was really pleasant. There were many stops along the way to allow passengers to relax for 10-15 min and go to restrooms. There was also a small toilet on board in the bus.

Excellent journey and wonderful singing bus driver! Well worth doing, I didn't have many days to travel the south island so I would recommend this journey as you still see quite a lot! It was a wonderful bright day in Mount Cook - only wished I could have stayed there the night to do a bigger walk! Great, friendly bus driver who was easy to listen to, sang nice local songs and very informative about the region and NZ history.

Great trip! So much more than a transfer. Saw some great sights along the way with interesting and informative commentary from Tom our driver. Regular comfort stops good and clean for coffee/snacks/toilets. Very comfortable seats. Efficient and punctual to the minute! Highly recommended!

So happy that I signed up for this trip. The only thing I wish is that we could have had more time in the Mount Cook region. We drove right past the Church of the Good Shepherd without slowing down for a photo and only had an hour at Mount Cook. I didn't have the ability to stay the night in the area since it was booked for the holidays, so this was my best option so that I didn't completely miss the mountain. If you have the option, stay in the area.

The scenery on this trip is jaw dropping. Very comfortable coach from Christchurch well organised. And the driver even gives a good commentary all the way to Queenstown which is a long way nearly 12 hours. You can charge your iphone on the coach and the coach stops about every 2 hours at Lake Tekapo then Mt Cook. Don't bother ordering the buffet lunch it wasn't very good and overpriced, better to go to the cafe at the Hermitage hotel.. Food at all the stops was very good, sandwiches etc and even had time for an ice cream in the afternoon. It's a great way to get to Queenstown and travel on to Te Anau for Fiordland.

Perfect way of going from Christchurch to Queenstown, the views are amazing.

This is definitely the best way to get from Christchurch to Queenstown on the scenic route. We were lucky with the weather and the driver's commentary was very informative. There was plenty of time in Mount Cook Village but time at Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo was a little tight. I understand it is a long day but would be great if you could at least spend 15 minutes at each place. If you are on a tight budget, I would recommend buy some food in Queenstown or it will be challenging to get a meal under 15 dollars.
