We were very lucky to end up getting basically a private tour for our group. Our tour guide Carolina was absolutely delightful! She was knowledgeable, accommodating, incredibly warm and friendly, and seeing the city with her felt like visiting a dear friend! Wonderful tour gave an overview of the city and made for many opportunities of lovely panoramas.

Tanya , our tour guide, spoke excellent English and was enthusiastic and clear in her explanations. She did not rush us from place to place. She took us to Belém, Jerónimos Monastery, best viewpoints of Lisbon on both sides of the Tagus River, The Explorers Monument, and the Christ the King Sanctuary. We did not just drive around but got out of the van and Tanya explained the history and meaning of the place we were visiting. Tanya was engaging, knowledgeable, and certainly held our interest. We learned a lot and left wanting to delve deeper into some of topics and people who were important in Portugal’s history. This tour really enhanced our visit to Lisbon and gave us a real sense of this interesting city.

My tour guide was very knowledgeable and conducted a great tour. We got to see a lot of the city in a short period of time. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent tour in Lisbon, very comprehensive and a great introduction to the main attractions of the city. Carolina our guide is a genuinely nice and direct person, very knowledgeable and a really good driver in the hard roads of Lisbon. I strongly recommend this tour: meeting point was easy to locate and really small group (max. 8 pax).

We were fortunate enough to have an amazing guide, Nuno, and driver/assistant, Carolina. They were both extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. Additionally, they were both flexible and focused on making our experience very positive. We were a family with 2 teenagers and everyone was very happy.

This tour, under the expertise of our driver and guide, Tania was one of the best we've ever taken. She explained history, culture, architecture all while expertly navigating and parking the van. Seeing the highlights of a city in only four hours would be difficult for even the best. Tania managed to give us a complete overview, plus squeeze in a trip to the famous Belem pastry shop for pastry and espresso.

An amazing tour, very informative and you'll most of the big sites. I would suggest doing this early on in your trip to avoid doubling up sites.

Well organized and executed, with a nice female touch. Brand new minivan, knowlageble and well spoken guide. We could not be happier with the value: she spent almost 6 hours wth us and gave her 100% in. Thank you Tanya!

Ricardo is a fabulous guide! He is so amazing and made the tour exceptional in every way. We had a wonderful day and appreciate all RIcardo did to make this day so special.

Ricardo was so patient, he never made us feel rushed. He's very knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon. The custard tarts in Belem are absolutely the best - nothing comes close in comparison from the other pastry shops in the city.

Our tour guide was Tanya. She knew everything there was to know about Lisbon. She easily got us past huge lines and shared her vast knowledge with us. We heartedly recommend her!

I would really recommend this tour. Our tour guide was really friendly and her knowledge of the history was excellent. We learnt a lot about Lisbon's history and now one look differently at the city - you actually understand the architecture, etc. The best part was of course Pasteis de Belem!! We enjoyed the tour tremendously! Thank you!

The weather may have been putrid, the wind strong enough to blow you off your feet, the rain of tropical intensity and Arctic temperature, but even so Danielle was a wonderful host knowing the streets of Lisbon like the back of her hand. The views, the history and the wonderful Christ statue are all part of the itinirary - but the highlights - The Pasteis de Belem shop for the egg custard, where her local knowledge was invaluable, and the rather splendid Gosteiro Jeronimos, the late gothic Manueline-style monastery. A great tour that packs plenty in without leaving you dazed by an overload of info - highly recommended - and nice new mini bust for the tour. Highly recommended

You won't see any museums but lots of sights. Tania was a great tour guide, friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. Amazing driving through narrow backroads you would not see on big bus tours. Top class!

Of the 5 countries-7 cities we were on our trip to Europe, Lisbon was the most recommended place to visit by my wife and myself. This space will not be enough for the positive adjectives about Lisbon. Our guide, Tania, of Lisbon Riders was superb - very patriotic and knows the place inside-out.

Our guide made recommendations, explained the sights and allowed time for photos. He was happy to answer all of our questions. You could tell that it was important to him that we were happy. Very helpful guy.

This was an excellent tour. Nano was so informative, and took us to many places we would not have visited ourselves. Nano even took us to the famous bakery in Belem to taste the deliciious cakes. an absolute must if you are visiting Lisbon.

It was a cloudy day. A family of six canceled. Manuel did not cancel! It was still a fabulous day touring Lisbon and surrounding area. Manuel was incredibly flexible and eager to show as many places as I was interested in as we moved a bit more quickly with fewer people. It was a good introduction to Lisbon and the south side. I returned to the same places when my daughter met me the next week. Belém with its warm pastries and tiled shop was a treat. The Monument of Discoveries acknowledges people important to the development of todays Portugal, including one woman. This is also a popular area for sail boats and sailing lessons. Driving across the April 25 bridge and visiting Cristo Rei were eye opening vantage points also a time to experience Gods Grace and pray for peace. A little shopping at street/artisan vendors gave me a beautiful pair of hand designed silver earrings. Food, history, beauty, water views, Mountain Views, appreciation for a different culture and people and a competent and pleasant tour guide made for a great day. I never took a tour before and will probably not go anywhere without starting with one. Yes, well worth the time and money, Oh, and it is the week before Christmas with lights and Christmas markets . Great time. Thanks Manuel.

Tania met us at 10:00 at the meeting point in downtown Lisbon. She confirmed our names and showed our party of two, and our two other riders to the Lisbon Riders van. One other booked rider could not be located so we waited a few minutes while Tania tried to call his telephone number, but with no luck. After trying all options and making several searches around the meeting point plaza we departed on the tour. Tania was very knowledgeable of Lisbon history, and explained the effects of the earthquakes, the reconstruction, the monarchy, the dictatorships, and finally the Red Carnation revolution. While waiting for our missing companion, our riders talked about their desired shopping while in Lisbon, and Tania explained the best places to shop for the desired items. The tour covered the main areas of interest in Lisbon, and Tania displayed expert driving skills navigating our van through traffic and very tight streets of the various districts and sites of Lisbon. We loved the best desert in the world at it's original bakery and the near-by monastery and cathedral. We spent some time at the west Lisbon tower, the terrace and monument to Discovery, went across the bridge to lunch and the Christ monument, and then toured important places and lookouts in the old city. The day wrapped up with Tania taking us to our hotel that was on her way home. Tania was pleasant, informative, extremely knowledgeable, and very professional. We were extremely lucky to have Tania as our guide and recommend requesting her as you guide for this or the Sintra tour with Lisbon drivers.
