Flying to South Africa from Australia:
South Africa is a comfortable 14 hour direct flight from Australia. Our tours will either start and end in Cape Town or Johannesburg so which airport you will need to fly in and out of will depend on your chosen tour. From Sydney you can fly direct to Johannesburg with Qantas. From Melbourne a quick stop will be made in Sydney en route and from Perth South African Airways fly direct but only on certain days of the week. Qantas are a good option to Cape Town from the major cities in Australia though a transit stop will be made in Johannesburg en route.
