An absolutely great day. The trip up the mountain on the cable car was a highlight. We had a blue sky day so the views were the best. The trip on the train was just as good with fantastic views. The town is a beautiful place to wander around with lots of shops to explore and cafes to enjoy

For our first trip to Geneva we wanted to see Chamonix, Montenvers with a tour rather than plan the logistics ourselves. Despite a light rain, the Tour was excellent, the views were amazing and our guide Neil was very entertaining with lots of insight into what to do in Geneva after the tour ended. If the weather is good, and the Mer de Glace glacier is open to visit, Montenvers is a must. The Aiguille de Midi (summit of Chamonix) is an incredible experience regardless of the weather.

Great day. Well organised and host Neil, provided great information about the destination and what we could do there. Tour ran like clockwork. Well worth the cost.

This trip was excellent. The cable car, the train to the ice cave and the village of Chamonix was well worth the drive from Geneva. The weather was perfect and we saw amazing views from the top of Mont Blanc.

My wife and I did this tour on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019. Bus was on time and comfortable, bus driver was nice and safe driver. Tour guide Neil was nice and informative, gave us all the information we needed to have a good time, including the options for side trips. Weather was great, Chamonix is a quaint little Alpine village, but great fun to visit. Only thing we did not like was being crowded into the first cable car that takes you half way up the mountain, but there is noting the tour guides could do about it. It was well worth it for the view of the French Alps, above the clouds! Another happy and successful tour from! Dr. David A. Williams, Phoenix, Arizona

This activity can not be put into words to express the beauty of the mountains covered in ice. The Chamonix glass box is an activity that will provide memories for a lifetime. Such a pleasant experience for pictures to be taken. The only negative was that our tour guide "Maria" was not very clear at all about the pick up point and as a result many people arrived over 30 minutes late to the departure point which was irritating having to wait for others in order to leave.

Well run tour - we just did cable car up the mountain and then spent remainder of the day in Chamonix which was a real highlight. Very enjoyable day out.

Unfortunately we didn't get to ride the train to the glacier. The train was not running because of a derailment earlier in the week. Tour guide Niel was very knowledgeable and friendly

The day started out rather cloudy however the sky cleared and Mont Blanc was at its best! The train was out of service so we went on a ski lift cable car instead? Beautiful views!

Chamonix is a charming village and a wonderful place to experience the Alps. Going up Mont Blanc is breathtaking! We also went down to the ice cave. Would highly recommend!

Well worth the time if you are in Geneva. The scenery is breathtaking and the gondola and train rides are fun and picturesque. One of the best parts of the experience is the hands off treatment from the tour (Key Tours). In a very positive way--the trip is essentially transport with some commentary along the way. You are given clear instructions for accessing the various sites and left alone. Very nice!

Excellent tour guide (sorry don’t recall his name) he spoke 4 languages, was quite impressive. We went up to Mont Blanc first and that was outstanding! Note to anyone going on this tour - it is extremely cold and windy - dress warmly and wear proper shoes! The town of Chamonix was cute, they had shops mostly for those who ski, hike etc. restaurants and some souvenir shops. It was a pleasant trip.

This tour is worth the price. If you visit Geneva for few days and you have a one day free. Pls take this tour, you will surely have a exciting and enjoyable time there. I recommend you should do both option going up to the Mt Blanc (by cable car to Aiguille Du Midi peak) and going down to the ice cave (by train to Montenvers and cable car, then 450 steps down to Ice cave). It was a little bit tired and hectic but definitely worthy), should not take the lunch in the tour, there are plenty restaurants and options for your time in the town.

I had an Amazing time, all was well organised and explained. I would recommend this to my friends and family thanks....

This was something we had never seen before. The day started by taking the cable car up and then standing slack-jawed for an extended period of time. We then went on the train ride to the glacier and ice caves which also left us amazed (not having seen anything like this in our lives). The walk up (a bit tiring) was well-worth it for the sight of the caves.

What a great trip!! Departure point was easy to find and we left on time. Our guide Maria was very informative and quite friendly. En route, we were given good direction on where to go and when to meet for our return. If you are looking for a heavily guided tour, this isn’t for you. Besides the ride there and ride back, we were fully on our own. However, Maria let us know she’d be at certain spots at certain times if needed. That was a nice insurance policy if we got turned around or just plain lost. But we managed to do just fine on our own. I can’t even begin to describe the beauty of Mont Blanc!! You will not be disappointed with it. Make sure to purchase the cable car (can’t go up the mountain without it!). We did not purchase the lunch (seemed a bit steep for such a small meal) and we did purchase the train. But a couple of tips: In the summer, the glacier is a path of dirt and rocks. No snow of course so if you’re expecting a traditional glacier, you won’t get it. The ice cave you are also taking the train for is 450 steps down and then 450 steps back up. We saw quite fit people coming up looking like they were about to die. So we skipped the cave. The train is great for breathtaking views but the glacier-less glacier and staircase of death was a bit of a snooze fest. Departure back to Geneva was on time. All in all, we had about 6-7 hours on our own. Plenty of time to do everything. I would definitely recommend this tour (no way you’d figure transport and locations of those events on your own if you’re a tourist) and would pay again to have all of the plans arranged for me!

We purchased just the transportation to Chamonix on line and purchased the excursion to Mont Blac and the glaciers on the bus because we had read you may not want to to go up the mountain if the weather was not clear. Turns out we had a gorgeous day. It was much cheaper. Both were well worth the money and we saved by doing it this way.

Good pace, well planned out. It caters very well for travelers who want different options within the same tour. We selected the one with lunch provided. Managed to cover all our selected sights at a good pace.
