Starting in the heart of Chinatown, the bike-ride explores its frenetic market environment. Winding through narrow alleyways, your senses come alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of a community in motion. You’ll pass by shophouses selling everything from Buddhist amulets to recycled truck engines. Locals worshiping at hidden temples, ritual paper burnings, and the omnipresent spirit house display evidence of a culture centuries in the making.

Crossing the Chao Phraya River with majestic views of the city skyline behind us, you visit Thonburi, the historic third capital of Thailand. Contrasting chaotic Chinatown, peaceful elements of local Thai life abound as the tour goes through diverse residential communities. Inquisitive smiles and friendly greetings reinforce the feeling the tour has truly left the “beaten path” and are now experiencing the real Bangkok.

Fantastic experience. Thank you so much Ling Ling for your guidance and true thai happiness in giving us all this different view into Bangkok. I will look forward to join your 9 hours trip next time. For sure I will also recommend to friends and family. Very good concept. Also thanks to New York for being our safety guy. See you in the future!

I loved this bike tour. The guides were friendly and funny, the weather was perfect, and the route was enjoyable. We stopped along the way to see many local sites, including Chinatown, temples, and some local shops. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a great way to spend a morning in Bangkok. I traveled alone, and this tour was a great way to see the city and meet some new people.

Best bike tour we have ever experienced. Tour guides front and rear were terrific. The tour takes you through back streets and back alleys in amongst the local haunts. Where we crossed busy roads the tour guides stopped traffic slowing us all safe passage. River crossings are included and the ride is easy for newbies. If we go back we will do it again.

This tour was awesome. You definitely need to be comfortable on a bike to really enjoy it. If you're someone who likes to bike this is the tour for you. The local markets and back neighborhoods are very cool. It is a lot of fun biking on the streets and the tour guides do a great job of sticking with you and explaining. It is a less touristy tour which I preferred. Ms Ploy, on our of the guides on our tour, was extremely helpful, patient and kind. Would definitely do this tour again and will recommend to anyone going to Bangkok, who wants a tour of the less touristy sites and more of how Bangkok really lives.

This is a great way to see Bangkok. Our tour guides Lily and Ming were extremely professional, friendly and informative and did a great job of keeping us safe. We traveled down all the backstreets and sampled lots of local food. A must do in Bangkok!

Excellent experience! Tour guides were very knowledgable and navigated the minimal traffic that we came across on this trip. Loved the fact that it was off the beaten track and you get a real taste of the real Bangkok.

The bike ride was an unforgettable way to see Bangkok and our tour guides were knowledgeable and attentive. They were superb with our younger children, ages 7 and 10. We cycled about 10k in total trough the winding backstreets, visited the flower market and a wonderful temple with a sitting Buddha.

Excellent tour with extremely helpful guides. This is a tour to see the real life of Bangkok - food markets, pray in a small temple with the locals, learn to peel and eat the Thai fruit. See how the the different ethnic groups live and work together. The initial riding stage does require a degree of cycling expertise to navigate the narrow passageways so be warned that walking your bike may be the best way to proceed at first. The ride does get easier.

The tour was just about perfect. There were ten in our group from several countries, and two leaders. One brought up the rear. We had a brief but thorough and important orientation, and then we took off. We'd been told that lots of the streets we'd be riding on would be narrow side streets and alley ways. Some of the turns into those side streets and alley ways were as sharp as the streets were narrow! Of course, there were people everywhere, including lots of children, but, for the most part, the tour was so well organized, that we were able to stay on our bikes. The locals already expect people on this bike tour in their midst, so they took precautions, too. Many often greeted us with a hello and big smile. I've found a people who smile as much as we Americans, maybe even more! Sometimes parents held their little kids up to give us high fives and encouragement. We saw parts of the city that I might have come across only if I had lived here for a long while. Lots of living goes on in those back streets and little alley ways. Unfortunately, there was no time to keep getting off the bike to take pictures, but the every day life I saw will linger vividly in my memory. Our guides went out of their way to cater to our needs. Water and/or soft drinks were provided on three occasions. Toward the end of the ride, we stopped in a lovely park for snacks. The guides offered to take our picture posing at the interesting places where we stopped. There was a pleasant surprise toward the end of the tour when we boarded a ferry to take us back to our point of departure. You will see places on this tour that you would never see unless you lived in Bangkok for a long period of time, and even then, you might miss them. I could not give the tour a higher recommendation.

Great experience. Great guides (thank you Tommy and Coke!) And a truly great way to discover the real Bangkok. Couldn't recommend this more highly. Will definitely do it again next time I'm in town.

We were really glad we did this little bike trip. It was a great way to discover some hidden gems of Bangkok. You see places, streets and people you wouldn't otherwise even now about. It's amazing how well the city is connected by bike. Highly recommended, really pleasant morning and worth the early wake up :-

The bike tour was great! It was professionally run, and our tour guide and security bike guard were incredibly informative and helpful. This tour went through Bangkok's Chinatown, Ancient City and other areas. We biked through beautiful scenic routes and visited a buddhist temple. We took a boat to cross to the Ancient City and biked through it a bit before having a snack and learning more about our location. Everything was perfectly orchestrated, and solo travellers were able to meet other travellers. Wonderful experience!

Was the 2nd time that we made this city Tour by bike. It's amazing how close you come to the local people, how friendly the people are. In one word: amazing. Everybody which wants to see something from Bangkok should book a bike trip with Co van Kessel in Bangkok

What a wonderful idea to explore Bangkok by bike. We enjoyed it. The only bad part was that my sandals slip quite a lot, you must wear tekkies/sneakers. It would be helpful if they put that in their broschure. Apart from that no other negativity. Our guide knew what to do and kept us informed. A defnitely yes fpr this one.
