Important InfoInfo
Start your full-day tour of Oahu with morning pickup at your Waikiki hotel and set out in a deluxe air-conditioned coach with an expert guide.

Leaving Honolulu, drive past the ritzy Kahala area en route to the Amelia Earhart Lookout, named in honor of the famous aviator who in 1935 completed the first successful solo flight from Honolulu to the continental US, landing in California. Take in panoramic views of the 350-acre (142-hectare) volcanic crater that forms Diamond Head and watch surfers catching waves in the ocean below.

Down the road, stop at the lookout over Hanauma Bay, a marine nature reserve known for calm clear waters with excellent snorkeling. Then stop for a look at the Halona Blowhole and hope to see a geyser-like spray of water rocket into the air.

Travel into the hills to reach the Nu'uanu Pali lookout where you are treated to sweeping views of Kanehoe Bay and Kailua Bay. Continue to Byodo-In Temple, a smaller-scale replica of a 950-year-old Buddhist temple in Uji, Japan. The stunning site, which features ornate temple buildings with a golden Buddha statue that stands more than nine feet (three meters) tall, is tucked into the foothills of the Ko'olau Mountains.

Back on the road, enjoy great views of Mokoli'l Island (Chinaman's Hat), Kahana Bay and the beaches along the North Shore of Oahu. Visit Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay, made famous in the 1960s when big-wave surfing took hold here. In the winter, the beaches still draw surfers from around the world.

Head inland to the Dole Plantation, where you have a quick stop to view lush tropical gardens, take a quick break and browse the gift shop.

During the day, take a 1-hour break to purchase lunch at a sit-down restaurant. Your tour ends with drop off at your hotel in the evening.

Put this tour down if you got the time. Great overview of the whole island. Our guide, Ernie was very captivating with a great sense of humor!! The bus that we used was very comfortable and very clean.

Our driver for the day was Ben and he really made this trip with his humor and knowledge. We saw all thr beautiful spots around the island.

This tour gave us a good overview of the island and the guide/driver, Keau (spelling?) was outstanding. Friendly, personable, informative about history and current events. He was proud of his home and culture and seemed to enjoy his job. The meal at the ranch provided many choices and the store stops gave you a chance to taste different products of the islands- nuts, coffee and pineapple - without any pressure to purchase. Polynesian Adventure Tours were a hit with us. The day was long, but went quickly and was enjoyable.

Leo was a fantastic tour guide! I’ve been about 30 times and I like to do the Island tour every couple years. Leo was pleasant and very knowledgeable of the Islands history. He made the day fun.

I had the greatest time ever. Keo was extremely funny and very knowledgeable. Not only can he drive but he can sing too!

We chose a tour that allowed us to have an unrushed breakfast before the 8:30 departure and arrived back around 5pm.

This is our first trip here in Hawaii. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He took us around the island and we learned a lot about volcanoes, the fruits and vegetables that grow here. Gave us tips on other tours we might like to take. Overall we had a good time. Thank you Ben.

Wonderful tour, full of adventures! Ben with Polynesian Tours, a native, was very knowledgeable and informative. He was also so nice and FUN! We especially enjoyed our visit to the Dole Plantation, where we experienced our first pineapple whip! We went in mid-April, and the weather was perfect!

The tour director/ driver was one of the most knowledgeable person I have had. My husband and I took this tour 4 years ago and we did not see half of what we saw yesterday. She was outstanding. I would recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about the island and since she is Hawaiian we heard a lot about the daily life of an average person who lives here. Just an incredible visit

Very good tour, we tour all the island and stopped at some lovely places for photo opportunities

This tour was in a comfortable motor coach van with a company called Polynesian Adventure Tours. Guide was a very positive and energetic Samoan guy by the name of Kalaa (pronounced like “Clay” with an “ah” in the middle between the “C” and “L” to make it two syllables). The tour picks up people from multiple hotels between 8:15- 9 AM and then sets off on its way. Lasts until about 6 PM with a lunch break around 12:30-1 PM at a picturesque place called Kuuola Ranch. Guide is also the driver and tells many interesting fun facts about each place we visit, as well as about Hawaii in general. Some of the places we saw included Hanauma Bay Reserve, the Byodo-In Japanese temple, Waimea Bay, the Halona Blowhole, the Dole Plantation, and at the end, a beautiful scenic view of the Honolulu area from a viewing area called Nu’uanu Pali. The tour is long and should not be taken by those with low energy and stamina. But if you can complete it, it will definitely be one of the most fun and fulfilling tours offered by any tour company that you can take of Oahu. Would definitely take other similar tours with this company and guide again!!

This was a perfect way to see oahu! My mom and I came here for vacation! It was my moms second visit and my first visit here and I wanted to see as much as we could. Oahu is beautiful and there’s so much to see but this tour allows you to explore and not have to worry about the commute or transit. You hope on an air conditioned bus and just enjoy the ride. Our driver Jensin was so great, he was extremely knowledgeable and he took us to every spot listed on the schedule. If I had to choose a favorite spot it would either be the Byodo-In Temple or the Nu’unau Pali lookout point. This is a great tour for anyone! A family, group of friends and solo if you want! It was so much fun!

This is an eight-nine hours tour, many stops for photos. We had Keao as our driver who is a seasoned tour guide, told many stories. The entire trip had zero downtime. Well worth it for the value.

Great to visit

Our tour guide/bus driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Willing to stop when he saw a monk seal on the beach, we all got to see it even though it wasnt on the agenda for the day. Great stops along the way, plenty of time to see the sights at each stop. You have to have a Dole whip at the plantation- amazing! Loved the coffee and macadamia nuts stop - got several bags of each! Great way to get out of the city and see the sights of Oahu.

Good day out, got to see all round Oahu and the Japanese temple, never seen so many Koi Carp in one place. Not to mention the Black Swans. Would have liked to stop at the North Shore but you cant have everything.

Tommy was happy and fun. We made a few extra stops. Get the ice-cream at the first stop. we had Macadamia nut, banana chocolate swirl, and pineapple. AMAZING!! Dole pineapple farm was HUGE and glad we didn't have to make the trip in our rental car. We were able to decide what we wanted to spend time doing after seeing the island on this tour. Hanauma Bay to go snorkeling was 1! and it was amazing. This tour doesn't take you to the North Shore, so make time to do that.
