Traffic in HCMC

This week’s video comes all the way from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Compiled from 10 000 RAW images and multiple shoots, it captures the hive-like buzz of this Southeast Asian metropolis. Gleaming sky scrapers, restaurants, bars and designer seem worlds away from the ancient pagodas, colonial landmarks and traditional markets. Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is a feast for all the senses. Famous landmarks include French colonial landmarks like the Hotel de Ville, the main square’s Notre Dame Cathedral and the lively Ben Thanh Market, where you’ll find all the food, clothing and souvenirs you could wish for. Cholon is the city’s bustling China Town, home to brightly coloured pagodas and markets. Seventy kilometres northwest of the city, the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, which played such a vital role in the war, are another highlight.
