Iceland: nature’s playground

With vast volcanic landscapes brimming with steaming thermal pools, mammoth glacier and picturesque fjords, Iceland has earned itself the nickname ‘Land of Fire and Ice’ for good reason. In addition to all of this rugged beauty, the frosty months of winter bring with them the incredible natural phenomenon of Aurora Borealis, or the Northern Lights, when during the dark nights the sky becomes awash with a luminescent glow of colours. This week’s video pick is aptly named, and wonderfully portrays the striking contrast of this Nordic country.
