Frost, Fire and Northern Lights

As the end of the year fast approaches winter is in full swing in the northern hemisphere. While temperatures continue to drop it can become tempting to remain indoors, snuggled in front of a toasty fire with a glass of mulled wine in hand. But as enticing as that sounds, these next few months months offer so much beauty that should not be missed by staying indoors, and Iceland is a wonderful place to see winter at its finest. From gushing waterfalls and bubbling geysers, to snow-laden landscapes, frosty glaciers and gorgeous night skies lit up with the Northern Lights, Iceland is a quiet beauty.
