Madagascar

When you think of Madagascar, it’s probably the cuddly lemurs, transforming chameleons, prowling fossa and all the other fascinating indigenous wildlife the island holds that comes to mind. Ladislav Bittner’s video however focuses more on the country’s diverse destinations, from the busy hectic cities to the quiet idyllic beaches and the lush tropical rainforest. No video of Madagascar would be complete without a few seconds air time dedicated to lemurs, however Ladislav’s video is much more about the people of Madagascar going about their daily life – children lined up ready for school, fisherman paddling out to sea and fire breathers entertaining on the beaches. While it is the only place in the world you will find lemurs, with 60 different species to tick off the list including the comical dancing Verreaux’s Sifakas, there are many reasons to visit Madagascar as this video beautifully shows.

  1. I never knew there were sixty different species of lemur in Madagascar! My husband and I have been thinking of going for our anniversary trip in the fall. We’ll have to look into different tours and activities we can sign up for!
