Daniel was a very knowledgeable guide and presented the information in an interesting manner. He was extremely pleasant to be with and gave us a great walk thru the city.

Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. The walking tour was well paced. Because there were only two of us on this group tour there was lots of time for questions, answers and information on the best ways to travel to other points in the city that we wanted to visit.

Danny was outstanding. Knowledgeable, interesting, entertaining and a good dancer (kidding about him being a good dancer - though he may well be). This is an excellent tour which informs as well as allows one to get their bearings in an unfamiliar city.

Marie, our tour guide, was excellent. She kept us interested with local stories as well as the history. She talked about the art, food, and options to explore on our own. Loved every minute.

Excellent tour. Perfect mix of historical and new. Made me want to return in the summer to experience some of the festivals the guide mentioned. Included food and coffee stops, which was great on a snowy December day.

Our guide Elyse was most informative and maintained a pleasant pace. Her tour provided an introduction to the Montreal city history and culture in just enough detail to make us visitors feel we understood why the residents take such pride in their beautiful city.

Danny the young company owner led our small four person group on a very personalized tour that balanced old, new and trendy Montreal. Very enjoyable. The bao and iced coffee that were included introduced us to local businesses and new tastes of Montreal.

This was a fantastic tour that allowed me to see and learn about things in Montreal that I never would have experienced otherwise. Anne Marie was great: engaging and seems to truly love Montreal. We walked a decent amount, so make sure you are up for covering some distance. I highly recommend this company. They want their customers to see the best and most unique bits of the city, not just the tourist traps.

Great tour with a knowledgeable and interesting guide Danny. We started in the square outside of Notre-Dame, walked through some of old town, took a slight detour through a small portion of the underground city and ended up in China town. The tour ended in a great part of town called Plateau Mont-Royal where we were able to see some of the really cool street art from a yearly festival. This neighborhood gave us a real sense of how locals actually live. We would have gone on another Spade and Palacio tour but unfortunately were leaving that night .

We booked the Beyond the Basilica Walking Tour through the TripAdvisor website and are so glad we chose this one over all the other options they had on their website. Our tour guide was Tom may have been Tim? who was an excellent guide giving us all a unique perspective of the city that we would never have discovered on our own. The small tour size allowed for a lot more flexibility which we liked. If you ever do this tour you will be lucky to get Tom as he was probably one of the best guides we've come across in our recent travels. One area that could be improved was the booking process. After we booked, on the email we received it did not contain the details of the person we were to meet so we were left just having to wander around the general area trying to see if anyone else was looking for the same tour.

A very good walking tour of the old part of Montreal.

The tour by Elisa (sp) was the worst tour we have been on for our international travels. I have had free walking tours that were 10x better. We would pass information signs that had more detail as well as other tour guides who were providing interesting cultural information. Waste of time. Terrible!
