Guide was knowledgeable, friendly and great. He was well prepared and ensured our food restrictions were taken care of while still ensuring we tried various things. He also was patient and willing to stop and entertain all our questions enroute

Great tour with sampling of different foods at restaurants where locals were eating. Our guide, Sinclair, was wonderful.

Sinclair was one of the best tour guide that I have had in all the years of my travel. My wife and I and son and joyed his tour as well as his understanding of all things food and the surrounding areas. We were involved with part of the disturbance while in Hong Kong and Sinclair was able to get us out of harms way and safe. I would recommend him again in an instant!

The tour was great, Jane had much knowledge about the food (which was awesome) and Hong Kong. Highly recommend this tour!

I have done food tours all across Asia and this by far is the best one. It was well coordinated, our guide was very knowledgeable, well spoken, and fun. The food was amazing and he took us to Michelin Star places you would never find on your own. I highly recommend this tour.

Sinclair led great tour that enabled us to taste a cross section of Hong Kong food and drinks. In addition, he did an excellent job adding in cultural, historical, and local facts that made the tour that much more educational - and he engaged with all members of the tour. Well worth the time, be sure to bring an appetite as there will be plenty of food.

The tour is amazing. Terrific guidance, delicious food, fun and reveals special places one would never visit on his own (with Michalin stars!). Very recommend.

Highly recommend this tour. Excellent value and you are provided with authentic Cantonese cuisine.

This half day tour far exceeded our expectations both in the information we learned and the food and places we visited. It was a wonderful fast paced tour with never a dull moment. We loved the three different restaurants we went to as they epitomized Hong Kong food in three very different ways. All the food was delicious and the experience at each place was different and amazing. In addition, as we walked from place to place our guide, Richard, explained a lot about the area, Chinese medicine and herbs and the different exotic things we saw in each window. This was one of the best tours we have taken in Hong Kong. We highly recommend it. Don't miss it!

It's been a while back. But it was a great tour. I especially remeber the wonton soup and the char sui. I would do this tour again when i am in Hongkong.

This was a great tour with an easy pace. We got to enjoy many different types of food with the local folks It was great! The guide made sure we had plenty of food to try and it was all good. Which I had more time to try different establishments food, Highly recommend this tour. With the small group, when we all arrived, we started early instead of waiting for the right time to leave, The tour guide could answer all of the questions the group asked.

I had the best time during this food tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting -- or even living in -- HK. I was lucky to have Mel, a Hong Kong native, as my guide. He was extremely informative, both about the food we sampled and the culture and history of Hong Kong. We had more than enough great things to eat, ranging from savory to sweet, over the course of the day. This included delicious dim sum, noodles, egg tarts, milk tea, and barbecued pork. I've been on food tours in the U.S. where you're given just a tiny taste of each item, but this wasn't the case here: we got full-sized portions at each stop! While that might seem like a lot, there was also plenty of walking over the course of the four hours, so I was never uncomfortably full. I have already recommended this to friends and loved ones who will be in town, and I would recommend it to anyone else with a strong appetite and a hunger for knowledge forgive the pun! I'll also note that my boyfriend couldn't join me for the tour, but it actually worked out great, as everyone in the group that day was flying solo. This is something you could definitely do with a friend/partner or on your own.

This was such great and I truly got to see how Hong Kong was from a local perspective.

This was an awesome tour! The information we were sent after booking gave all the details we needed in order to meet our guide. Our guide was Nicole and our group was a great size at just 9 of us. Nicole made the tour really fun, giving us lots of information on the areas we visited, local culture and of course the food we tried. Talking of food, it was delicious!! The info pack recommends not to eat breakfast, which is good advice as we got to eat so much!! There is some walking involved, up some short hills and steps so make sure you're comfortable with walking prior to booking. But the walking part is great as you get to walk through various markets and look at local shops. Having completed the tour, we found we had more confidence to chose to eat at local places and try new foods.

Been to HK couple of times and always going to the touristy places. Booked the group tour since I have a morning to kill and it turns out to be the highlight of my visit. The Tour was informative and filling to its literal sense because the foods are amazing Sure, I can buy Dim Sums, Wonton Noodle Soup, Milk Tea, Char Siu and Egg Tart elsewhere but the place that we've been to are authenticly Hong Kong. Above it all, Nicole is fantastic. She is well informed, cheerful and easy to talk to. I will book another tour with the company when I go back and will recommend it to friends that are visiting HK.

Lots of walking, but incredible experience. There is no way you could find these gems in Hong Kong without an expert guide.

This was a fun tour around the western district of Hong Kong Island. Our guide, Nicole, provided a running commentary on everything from food to Chinese medicine and local history while we walked or rode the double decker tram to various restaurants where the locals eat. Great experience!

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. Ben was a passionate and knowledgeable guide with lots of helpful tips. We started with breakfast of Yum Cha. Not only was the food delicious but it was a great way to start the tour as we got to talk to the others in the group around the round table. We ate at places we would never have found ourselves and where the locals ate. We particularly enjoyed the experience of the restaurant serving the Char Sui. The food was tasty but it was the frenetic atmosphere of the restaurant that is not to be missed. A most enjoyable few hours, and as the food was plentiful, make sure you bring your appetite.

This was the highlight of our visit to Hong Kong. Our guide, Richard was knowledgeable, interesting, and just plain nice! We had amazing food in local places that we never would have found on our own. Thank you, Richard.

A great tour with Matt as our guide who was exceptional, found new places and tried food we hadn't before along with lots of other info about the local area and Hong Kong, a great way to spend 4 hours, highly recommended

Excellent tour. Our guide Kiki was very knowledgeable about Hong Kong and we got a good flavor of it's history. The food stops we made were delicious!
• Submitted 03 Apr 2017
Great tour for locals as well as visitors. We all learned so much about classic Cantonese cuisine, tasted food from Michelin star spots that we would have never found on our own, and toured multiple parts of the city. Richard was our guide and did a wonderful job. His enthusiasm and care for each participant was exceptional!

Wow, this Food walking tour totally exceeded our expectations!! I am a foodie and was excited to have the opportunity to eat at a Michelin Star Restaurant...little did I know that we were going to eat at 3 different Michelin Star Restaurants!! Nicole was a fantastic guide and she shared many stories and loads of information about the city that we would not have known. We were so lucky to have a small group, only 5 of us including Nicole, making easier to get into many of the restaurants. MOst of the places we went, we would never have found on our own....every looking for them. The Dim Sum was out of this world, the Milk Tea surprisingly delicious, and the Roasted Meat - Char Siu BBQ Pork and steamed Bok Choy changing and I can't forget the yummy custard pie! I highly reccommend this tour! Do be sure to COME HUNGRY!!
