We spent 10 days in various parts of Colombia and the salt cathedral tour was one of our favorite tours. Our guide was incredible and the cathedral was mind blowing. Do not miss it!

This tour was a lovely way to spend the day. The Salt Cathedral has voice guides so you can tour at your own speed. The guide provides insight into the history of Colombian during the square tour and the lunch is a great way to try a traditional Colombian lunch. This tour is a must!

Great day trip if you've already spent some time in Bogota. It does take a while, though, so not ideal if you only have 1 day in the city.

Excellent tour with very knowledgeable tour guide.

We were picked up from our hotel in Bogota by 9 am and we reached Zipaquira within an hour. The tour in the Salt mine and Cathedral was in English and it included a movie and light show. Total it took 2 hours to complete the tour and on our way back we stopped at the Main square. We also enjoyed the Vegetarian lunch provided at a restaurant in Zipaquira itself. We returned to Bogota by 3 pm. It was a worthwhile tour and well arranged. The guide and driver both were very helpful.

THE SALT CATHEDRAL IS A MOST SEE WHEN VISITING BOGOTA. THERE IS A SENSE OF PEACE AND TRANQUILITY EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE SOO MANY OTHER GROUPS IN THE CAVES. IT WAS A TRULLY AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

Miguel was on time to pick up us, and also was very kind and helpful with us. Definitely, if I visit again Bogotá, I will ask for his services through your website. Thanks Miguel!!

A nice private tour to see the salt cathedral. Our guide Andrea and the driver handled all the logistics. Learned a few things about Columbia and Bogota on the way. The lunch was great as well. Overall, a very relaxing experience.

Andrea guide and Wilson driver were fabulous! This is an absolute must tour when in Bogota. The Salt Cathedral is amazing as is the shopping there. The town of Zipaquira is beautiful and charming. If you're luck the old church in town will be open so you can see how beautiful it is inside. Lunch in town was incredible. Fabulous local food soups and meats. Insider tip: stop at the Café on the Plaza in town to buy some Tres Leches cake!!!!!

This tour was awesome, our guide Kelly was a young lady full of knowledge with perfect English! She was very informative and chatted the entire time. The Salt Cathedral was so cool and the time inside went quicker than expected. The traditional Colombian lunch was delicious and the town of Zipaquira was quaint. I would recommend this tour!

My daughter and I looked for an easy day tour from Bogota and ordered this trip. Andrea and her driver came to pick us up from our hotel in a comfortable car and within 40 minutes we were out of the urban views of Bogota. The trip is worth it, the guidance at the mines enjoyable and the views of Colombia are great. Andrea is lively, has an excellent English and was able to answer all of our question.

One of the wonders of Colombia!! Relaxing trip to Zipaquira through the Bogota savanna. Our tour guides Andrea and driver were very professional and accommodating. Miraculous achievement by the miners to build such spectacular cathedral.

Visit to Salt Cathedral was a wonderful day. Our guide, Andrea, spoke English perfectly and loved answering our questions about her country. After the Salt Cathedral tour we ate a delicious Colombian lunch at a local restaurant in Zipaquira followed by a walk in the town to two plazas including seeing the town cathedral. The driver was excellent and the car was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this tour guide and driver.

Our guide and driver picked us up right on time and we arrived at the Salt Cathedral just in time for the 10AM English tour. We were fortunate enough to be part of a small group for the tour 10 people. The cathedral is something not to be missed during a trip to Bogota. Unlike anything I've ever seen anywhere in the world. It's located 180 meters below ground, so even if it would have been rainy it doesn't matter, you still get awesome photos. The only thing I would have liked more would have been to be able to include the additional tour in the mine which is called La Ruta Minera. This wasn't offered as a part of this tour and we did not have time to try and add it. It costs only a couple of dollars more, lasts 30 minutes and supposedly provides more insight into the mining operation and techniques. During our stop in the city of Zipaquira we were fortunate because the church was open and we could go inside. Very pretty Spanish-style with interior walls of hewn rocks and bricks. Excellent lunch was provided and out guide and driver did a great job.

Excellent guide!, very familiar with the areas, very safe trip, I will highly recommend them and use the same service if I have the opportunity to come back to Bogota.

The Salt Cathedral was spectacular and Independence Square was definitely worth seeing. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable but not very talkative, so we had to ask a lot of questions. Overall good experience, but other group tours may be a better value.

Takes an hour to get to the town. Not a lot of time to actually see the square. timing was based on getting to the Salt Cathedral. This is a bit cave like which did not appeal to me. Was on a tour for over an hour. You then have double back to get out. Big religious oriented lots of crosses. Afterwards I was not sure where to meet the guide and had to come back to the main exit. Watch there are 2 parking lots, one being lower. Afterwards we had an included lunch beer extra. I actually enjoyed the lunch. The driver was not English speaking but the guide was. They were both quite pleasant

The tour starts with a pickup from your hotel, and away you go to The Salt Cathedral! Our guide was Andrea and we had a good conversation throughout the tour. Lunch was provided in Zipaquira and it was good local fare. This tour is recommended!
