We have been on Viator tours in several cities, and they have been uniformly excellent; thus, we went in with high hopes for the Prague Beer and Tapas tour. I'm pleased to say that the evening exceeded even these high expectations, all due to Eliska, our guide. A graduate student with years in Prague, she knows the city - and its beer - very well indeed, and she shares her knowledge with the comfortable air of a good friend letting you in on the local scene. The other folks on our tour were great, but honestly we might not have known that if we hadn't had such a great host. Eliska balanced information about Prague, Czech history, culture, and politics, and beer in a effervescent mix. Conversation flowed easily. The four bars she picked were each excellent in different ways; she ordered a different plate of tapas in each one (giving us a taste of the different types of beer snacks that Czechs favor), which was more than enough to constitute dinner, especially when paired with the beers. And the beers were great - different enough that you didn't get tired of drinking them - the (compared to the US) relatively low alcohol helped, too. I'm a wine drinker who is only in the last few years tentatively branching out to beer, and I had a great time! We ended up sitting at the last bar for over an hour after the tour was over, talking and drinking with Eliska and our new friends. If I could give this tour six stars, I would!

Lukas made the tour. He chose great local spots, created a fun atmosphere and was very informative. We had enough food and beer to keep us full and happy for the entire time. We enjoyed getting to know our fellow travelers and sharing tips. This was a great way to get outside of the city center and see how the rest of Prague eats and drinks.

Will our guide was fun and very knowledgeable. After our second pub he was able to know each person’s taste in beer and guide us as we went on our beer journey, learning the rich history of beer in Prague. The food was great and didn’t leave you wanting. In fact, I wish I had more of the pickled cheese!

Guillaume was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The beer was excellent as was the food. Don't be fooled by "tapas", the portions were very generous!

We just returned to our hotel after the day with Pavel touring the beautiful countryside, drinking amazing lagers, and enjoying plates and bowls of delicious Czech foods. Our tour guide was a wonderful host and the transportation was very safe and punctual. This tour offers a great value and unforgettable memories. I would definitely do it again if I return to Prague.

My husband and I had a fantastic time with our small group tour. It was nice to get out of the super touristy areas and get a better feel what it is like for locals and beer culture in Prague. It wasn’t just trying different beers, but a great opportunity to try a lot of local food favorites. Actually, we were given quite a lot of food at each location, so make sure not to make any dinner plans for after the tour! Thomas, our guide, was fantastic and a joy to be with.

The tour was well paced with a wide range of beer options to choose from. Our guide Martin was super friendly and knowledgeable, and explained each place and the beer options at these in detail. The small group size was great. Even though the food is to share both my partner and I left full and all of the dishes were delicious. Highly recommend this tour!

A great tour taking you to small local bars which you would never venture to on your own. Lots of different beers to try and the food in the bars we went to was great. Knowledgeable and friendly guide who made it a great evening.

Highly recommend this tour. Had a blast while enjoying great Czech beer and foods and learning some about the culture. We had George as our guide who was a lot of fun and offered all kinds of great info tidbits and Prague recommendations. What I liked best about this tour is that it takes you out of the usual tourist zones into more local venue. Each venue had a different vibe which was neat.

Martin our guide was very informative about the history of been in Prague. We had a great group that all got along this in the main down to martins cheerful personality. There was no pressure to drink a lot, it was done at your pace, you could have large or small beers and change if you didn't like your choice. This mixed in with traditional Czech tapas made for a fun enjoyable evening that lasted over 5 hours. Would recommend to either food and or beer lovers

This was a last minute decision to add this tour to our trip. We are so glad we did. 5 stops, all around the city. The beers were not just sample size, but full pours. And two at each stop. And the tapas, well it was more like a full meal. So much food, amazing food. And our guide, Dita, she was a gem. She had so much information for us, even provided us with the recipes for some of the tapas we had. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to get to know the city, and to enjoy some really good beer and local food.

Eliska was our Beer and Tapas guide while in Prague and she was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable about beer at her young age of 26 and the choices of stops and beers we tasted were amazing. Eliska’s personality was contagious and she took great care of us. The food was delicious at each stop as well! Highly recommend this tour and our guide! 5 stars!

We were interested in this beer tour in Prague and had the pleasure of spending the evening with Joanna. She is an extremely outgoing and very knowledgeable person who took the pleasure of her group members seriously. In total, there were 5 couples plus Joanna for our specific tour. I should mention that I'm vegetarian and didn't anticipate being able to eat much on this trip but Joanna did go out of her way to ensure that I was well-fed which I really appreciated. Some other reviews mentioned the need to eat dinner (since the tour only officially promises snacks) but I personally was stuffed by the end of the night so it's possible that your mileage may just vary. The food and beers were delicious and it was nice to escape the very tourist heavy locations in Prague for a little while and see a side of the city that we probably otherwise wouldn't have. Joanna was an excellent companion and guide and even kindly sent us a summary email the following day recapping all the different places we tried and the kinds of beers they had there. Definitely our favorite activity in Prague by far. Thanks again Joanna!

This was a definite must do if you like beer. Our guide Martin was not only knowledgeable about beer and it's history, he provided many facts about Prague and the Czech Republic. Also thanks to his colleague, Adam for adding to the experience.
