First and foremost I have to sincerely thank our amazing tour guide Valentina and the company for waiting 10 minutes for me. I got lost super close to the meeting point, but found it and made it on. The tour was absolutely amazing! The views are incredible and I ate so much delicious food I think I almost burst. Valentina, no worries. I refuse to put pineapple on pizza and as you said a little Italian Grandma dies every time you do. Amazing hostess who is very knowledgeable, warm and friendly and tells cute jokes as well as educates you. Highly recommend!

Our tour guides were exceptional, personable, and knowledgeable. It was a relaxing tour with ample time to visit the sites. A little more time at the first two stops would have been nice, and the last stop was not much to see.

Christina did a wonderful job. She is very polite and assists tourists in every way she can. I am glad I booked this tour .

Find the bus terminal before your tour. It was off the beaten track and farther than we expected. There were too many people for one guide to take care of, so you really have to pay attention as you are getting on and off several trains.

My experience was wonderful. Marco was very informative about the trip. He has a great personality. Grateful the bus driver got us there safely.

We had an excellent day. Our guide Eva was very clear with her descriptions and information as well as being very friendly and taking good care of all of our needs. We chose to have the meal and this was very pleasant. Our only disappointment was that we were unable to go on the boat at the end because of the rough sea and this would have been a highlight for us.My friend and I are in the 70+ group and we didnt find the walking too difficult.

The tour guide was excellent; he repeated all instructions to ensure everyone understood. Tour requires a lot of walking and stairs; therefore, difficult for someone with mobility issues.

If you want to get a lay of the land, experience taking the train through cinque terre and see 4 of the 5 towns this is the way to go! Gabriel and Antonio were our guides. The trains ran on time and the weather was beautiful. Be advised this is a large group! 60 people! But everything went smooothly. You don’t get a ton of time in each town but it’s enough to see what you like and then come back and spend more time in certain towns. You can’t eat or drink coffee in the buses so just a heads up on that.

Excellent Tour Guide. Lots of information during the trip, tour guide was excellent, and above average regarding information and suggestions.

A very enjoyable 1 day tour. In spite of the challanges in keeping the group intact while on the train, Eva did well to ensure everyone of us is accounted for. She is very informative, gave clear intruction on meeting point/time, caring and very professional in carrying out her duties. Well done!

Highly recommend this great day trip! Don't do the walking tour though - go on your own, so much better!

We had a delightful tour of the Cinque Terre. We started out quite early but it was well worth it. We were in a group of about 60 English speaking tourists that transported us in a comfortable coach to La Spezia , a bigger town close to the villages we were to visit. Our guide, Francesco, was amazing - full of vigor and humor, he kept the group together , gave us useful information, and even suggested fun things to do at each village. From one village to the next, we took the local train which worked out very well - buses cannot travel on the narrow country roads in that region. Before we headed back to meet the bus at La Spezia, we took a boat ride on the Ligurian Sea to reach the final stop as we lucked out on a beautiful day when the sea was calm. Compared to other tours in hilly regions on this vacation, the amount of walking we did was quite manageable. The villages were quite full of tourists as expected, but, as two of those very tourists, we could go beyond the crowds and really enjoy ourselves. The only thing I'd recommend to Viator in giving info on the printed ticket sheet would be to include the fact that there are very nice public (as well as more expensive private) beaches at the villages - so, if the weather is good on the day of the tour, it is possible to go for a swim in the clear, blue water. Alas, we did not bring our swim suits. This did not stop us from having a great time.

What a great trip. So well organised and a great day. Marco our guide was fun, helpful, informative and made sure we heard all the information we needed to know. The coach was comfortable and clean. It was a long day 7 to 7 but well worth it. The boat trip at the end of the Cinque Terre visit was perfect. We were able to see all five villages along the coastline together. Just wonderful. Would highly recommend this trip.

This was a long and hot day----with tons of walking and hill terrain--but so worth it! If you have issues with walking--this is not for you at all. But this day is glorious! The tour guide was fantastic. The only suggestion I would have is two things: they need a bathroom on the bus---or they need to schedule a rest stop in Spezia so people can go to the restroom. It's a long travel from Florence--and many people needed to use the facilities badly. By the time we arrived to the first stop--we had to hike down a street to a stream and up into town--then finding a place in town to go to the bathroom was an emergency for many at this point. Otherwise it was wonderfully planned. The lunch was delicious (if you get this included!) well worth that option--delicious local cuisine, wine and lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. Many of us thoroughly enjoyed it and only wished we had more time in each port. Perfect--the stuff dreams are made of--and would definitely book again!

This tour was wonderful. Our tour guide, Frederica, was helpful. She was able to bring us around to all of the 5 villages. I thought we had enough time to visit each village; we loved taking the boat tour! We did select the lunch included, and although the lunch very good, I would have opted out of it. We sat with people in our tour and would have much gathered preferred to eat lunch and explore on our own. Overall, we had a beautiful day.

This is a long day but worth it to visit this amazing place. It was very hot and crowded when we were there but that is August in Italy!

The Cinque Terre tour was memorable for its fabulous scenery. People should bring their swimwear because there is enough time given to swim in the water. We had a good time because the tour guide (Constantino) was funny, entertaining and precise with his instructions. His yellow umbrella was easy to follow despite the heavy crowds.

Our guides Adrianna and Katerina were amazing; they made the day a worthwhile adventure on buses, trains and ferry. The towns were quaint with beautiful views and views from the sea were fantastic. Remember to take a swim suit for the full beach experience.

Dario did a great job telling us what we’d see and alerting us for special sights such as the Carrera Marble quarry on the way to/from Cinque Terre. He was also great at getting us on/off the multiple trains. He offered dining suggestions that were very helpful for our remaining stay in Florence. A great experience!

Several years ago my daughter took a summer class in Florence and visited Cinque Terre. We wanted to see the different villages. Other people on our excursion wanted to swim on its rocky beaches. Our bus drove 2 hours to a train station and then took a train to the first village. We had enough time to visit the shops and get something for breakfast (and use the bathroom). The next stop we had more time for sight seeing, found a small beach, climbed the steps to a castle for an unforgettable view. The next village we had a great lunch while those who wanted to swim had a chance. I will admit but the time we got to the last village, given the choice of climbing up to a lava flow or walking on a flat level to see the shops and old town, we chose not climbing. All told this was a very nice 12 hour trip.

Just enough time for - breakfast in Manarola, gelato and rock pools in Vernazza, lunch and quick swim in Monterosso. Lovely boat ride to Riomaggiore for more drinks and local pastries.
