Milan to Peschiera del Garda
Milan - Lake Garda - Padua. From Milan we head to Peschiera del Garda, on the shore of one of the most famous of the Italian Lakes. Lake Garda's renown is well-deserved. Its pristine waters and Dolomite vistas have drawn artists, poets, and travellers for centuries. We have several hours to explore the town and stroll along the lake, soaking up the beautiful scenery.
Tonight, we make our way to Padua, our base for the evening. The city boasts a wealth of historical importance, with its architecture showcasing a fusion of different eras. The evening is free to head out and find a local restaurant for dinner.

Villa Pisani, Valdobbiadene & Venice
Padua - Villa Pisani - Bassano del Grappa - Valdobbiadene - Venice. Our morning begins with a visit to Villa Pisani, a true masterpiece located in the charming town of Stra. This rural palace is renowned for its Venetian Baroque architecture, crafted by Andrea Palladio in the 18th century. We have ample time to wander through the palace and its splendid gardens, treading the same paths once graced by historical figures like Napoleon Bonaparte.
Next on our itinerary is the charming city of Bassano del Grappa. Be sure to capture a photo of the picturesque 13th-century wooden Ponte Vecchio bridge stretching over the River Brenta. With attractions like Bonaguro Palace and the Civic Museum, there's no shortage of sights to explore. You can wander at your own pace or opt to join us for an optional Grappa tasting experience.
Next, we stop in Valdobbiadene, where there is an optional winery tour with Prosecco tasting or leisurely free time to explore. Arriving in Venice, the evening is at leisure.

Walking tour in Venice
Venice - Padua. Today we will be spending the entire day exploring one of Italy's most famous destinations. Venice welcomes us with its 177 canals, 350 gondoliers, and the most unique cityscapes on Earth. We explore 'the Floating City' on a 2-hour guided walking tour, and there is plenty of free time for you to people watch in Piazza San Marco or embark on a gondola ride.
Venice sprawls across more than 118 islands, hosting one of the world's most renowned festivals. Its distinctive painting style and architecture firmly establish it as a Renaissance powerhouse, alongside Rome and Florence.
After a day of exploring, we return to Padua for the night.

Mantua & Cremona to Milan
Padua - Mantua - Cremona - Milan. Today begins with a drive to the enchanting medieval town of Mantua. This UNESCO World Heritage Site captivates with its wealth of historical and architectural wonders, notably the Palazzo Ducale adorned with breath-taking frescoes. There is free time to explore at your own pace.
Our next stop is Cremona, known for its stunning architecture. This city holds worldwide acclaim for its esteemed tradition of violin making. Renowned figures in the music world like Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarneri hailed from Cremona, adding to its illustrious legacy. With the melody of Italy echoing in our hearts, it's time to bid farewell (for now) and return to Milan, marking the end of our memorable journey.
