This was an outstanding place to visit. It's a few hour bus ride from Amsterdam and well worth the time, as it is an old city with history and charm. The tour and city square are worth seeing alone, but there are numerous additional cathedrals and buildings that will keep you occupied for a long time.”

This day trip involves a long bus ride and a late return to Amstrdam but it was worth it. The bus was comfortable and the guide gave interesting commentary on the countryside and the towns we passed. Once we reached Bruges we explained that we walk too slowly to keep up with a guided walk so she gave us clear directions on where to go and how to get a taxi back to the bus pickup area at the end of the afternoon.
Bruges old town is storybook pretty. You could spend hours taking pictures. The central square is lined with cafes. Be sure to try the beer, the Flemish stew, and the national dish--frites. There are a number of interesting museums but be aware most close at 5 and some (like the "frites museum" do not permit entrance after 4:15.”

Bruges is everyone’s idea of a fairy tale town. The charming shops offer the finest lace hand made in Burges and delicious Belgium chocolate. The folks are friendly and the scenery is amazing. Is it worth visiting this magical destination.....you bet it is”

I'm so glad I took this tour! It's a long day, so be prepared...Bruges is over a 3 hour drive from Amsterdam, but it's so worth it. It's a beautiful city with a lot to see and eat. When you get to Bruges, you have the option to take a 1 hour walking tour or to go off by yourself. Take the tour. Our guide, Alejandro, was great and taught us a lot. After the tour you have time to shop and have lunch before you head back. I would definitely recommend this.”

Good excursion. Guide was very informative, weather didn't cooperate but the venue made up for it. Highly recommend.”

Thoroughly enjoyed the day in Bruges. The bus driver and guide were great. The bus seats and room was too small especially for a 3 - 3 1/2 hour trip each way.”

The city alone is beautiful with its architectural charm and the history that occurred there. The thing that made our trip over the top was our guide, Marian(sp?). She brought the city to life telling of kings and rulers and some of the intrigue of the life in the city. She is far and away the best tour guide we have experienced using Victor since out Jewish History guide we had in Budapest.”

Quaint town, excellent food and beautiful church. Long bus ride both ways from Amsterdam but cheaper than renting a car and trying to do same trip.”

Marianne and John were wonderful. Brugge is a very pretty town with so much to see. Loved it. An extra hour would be nice but understand it's a 3 hour drive from Amsterdam.”

Interesting ride to Brugge enjoying the towns and countryside.
Tour was an easy way to visit this historic city. However the well publicized problem of too many tourists was absolutely an issue. Not the tours fault.”

The tour was well organized though too short! Bruges is packed with tourists. So try to go during weekends!”

The 3 hour journey there is in a comfortable double decker bus with toilet. Bruges is a great place to visit. We were given ample time to walk around and feast on the Waffles and French Fries.”

We truly enjoyed Bruges - it is a place I have always wanted to visit - and it did not disappoint us at all - our tour guide Pieter was amazing - extremely knowledgeable- very caring and helpful - we felt very secure with him in such a far place - we will be touring Brussels with him again in a few days - you will not be disappointed with this tour or tour company”

Our guide was Mary Ann, and she was terrific. She did the whole tour in 4 languages (German, Spanish, Dutch, and English). The trip to Brugge and back is 3 hours. Bus was comfortable. We then took a 1hr walk through Brugge to learn more about where we were before we had approximately 4 hours on our own for lunch and wandering. During our free time we hit up several chocolate shops (Old Chocolate House and The Chocolate Line are a MUST), plus Chez Albert for Belgian waffles, and a visit to the Basilica of the Holy Blood. We had cheap, tasty paninis at Venice Corn (weird name, great food). The pictures we took were amazing!”

the trip was excellent. The bus was very comfortable. The driver John was excellent and very experienced. I was a bit cautious about that long of a trip but it ran too fast and the commute there and back was very easy. Elsa, the guide was excellent and very nice. She provided very valuable information and was very pleasant. Bruges itself is a gem and should not be missed. I wish we had more days there.”

I visited Bruges last month and Alex was our guide, He was very informative on our way down in the bus. He then gave us an hour tour around Bruges, and gave us some ideas for lunch. Then we had free time to go around on our own, on our way back he played a game of bingo with us and handed out prizes”

The trip was amazing!
However, my honest opinion :
Do know that it's not exactly "Full Day", it's 12 hours in total of which 6 hours was the round trip travel from Amsterdam to Bruges and then from Bruges to Amsterdam.
So really, you're only getting 6 hours in Bruges of which 2 hours is the guided walk (if you choose to follow the group) and probably half to 1 hour lunch (which you definitely needed after the travelling and guided tour).
At the end, you're really only left with less than 4 hours of free and easy.
I say it was worth it because literally ALL the pictures and videos that I took on my phone (and I took A LOT!) turned out so amazing, Bruges have such beautiful colours and lighting (we were lucky the weather was so good to us, despite the very cold temperature). Whatever I posted on my Instagram, everything was WITHOUT EDIT and WITHOUT FILTER, that's how good it was for me!
If you're a chocolate lover like me, definitely the best place for you!
I would say for a first-timer, this is worth it. But I'm definitely going back to Bruges for a few nights stay in the future on my own :)

Beautiful trip. Marianne was amazing, she was funny and very explicative it was nice to listen to her. The trip was very organised and I liked how Marianne and Jon were clear on the program and times. It's a 3h journey to Bruges but she's made it very pleasant and didn't feel that long! I was really impressed it exceeded my expectations! Worth all the money. Definitely recommend.”

The tour from start to finish was great! The bus is very comfortable and our guide, Mary Ann, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It was nice to get the history on the way on the bus and then for the first 50 min in Bruge. We then enjoyed having some time on our own to explore. It was a beautiful day and we found a brewery with a nice spot along the canal for some beers. We also explored the chocolate shops. I really recommend this day trip. It was an easy way to get there and you learn so much from the tour guide.”

This is one of those day trips you shouldn’t miss. Marian was an excellent guide, she gave clear instructions and we got to know a good history of Bruges considering it was only a day trip”
