Seasons and Weather
Summer in Poland is between June and August with sunny skies and warm temperatures though the majority of rain falls during these months as well. This is peak tourist season in Poland with visitors flocking to the cities to ramble through the historic streets and people-watch in open-air cafes lining the town squares. It's also a great time to head for the great outdoors.
During the winter months between November and February snow covers the mountains and temperatures often drop to below freezing. This can still be a magical time to visit Poland with the cities frosted in white and skiing resorts open for business. Outside of Christmas and New Year this is the quietest time to visit Poland and the driest.
The shoulder tourist seasons of March, April and October are a wonderful time to visit Poland with the colours of spring and autumn decorating the landscapes. The days are sunny though cool and temperatures will vary between the mountains and the lower-lying cities.
