We had a great experience with our tour guide Claudia. She was very prompt on pick up time. Considering that tour includes minivan accomodation, ticket to Cathedral, port vine tasting and river cruise it was worth spending price for the ticket. The small downside was that tour was bilingual and tour guide had to repeat the same info in English and French. This seems to shorten some of the stories considering that we had to complete tour within time limit. On the other side it was some fun and opportunity to learn French...

What a wonderful tour. Our guide, The Real G, was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and made us feel like family. What an amazing way to learn the history of Porto!!! Thank you.

Excellent service from our tour guide Daniel. He was waiting for us at the hotel at the time agreed. Very comfortable and clean mini coach with air-con. Daniel explained everything to us in detail as we went along and nothing was too much trouble. All questions were answered thoroughly at each of the main attractions and stop off points. We had several walk abouts and towards the end went to the highest point at the church and monastry for some fabulous views of the city and river douro. Tour of Port Wine cave was really good. That ended the tour for that day and the timing was just right for us. The following morning we did the 6 bridges river cruise that lasted about 1 hour and was very relaxing. Overall we were very glad we booked this tour and also most grateful to Daniel for his excellent attention and service

Tiago was a wonderful tour guide...very knowledgeable and personal. We had a group of 4 of us and it really personalized the trip. They picked us up right at our hotel. The river cruise is actually not a part of the 4 hours, but rather they give you a voucher to use at another time in the future.

A must do. Ricardo showed us around Porto starting with the centre Cathedral and entertained us with the history of Porto. It really helped put the monuments into perspective. I absolutely love Porto. Later we crossed the river for the wine tasting. The interior was very modern and I was feeling a little disappointed until our guide opened the doors and we were led into the cellar area. Wow, what an experience. Our guide spoke in both Spanish and English and was an absolute delight. We tasted a couple of wines and learnt about Port. Then Ricardo gave us a voucher for the cruise, which didnt disappoint. A wonderful tour to start your visit to Porto.

What an experience! Our tour guide Christian was amazing. Besides speaking multiple languages, he was extremely knowledgeable and mindful of our individual needs. In addition to the bus and walking tour of Porto, we were treated to a wine tasting. Our tour guide there was also very knowledgeable. We loved Porto and would definitely recommend Viator.

Porto has much to enjoy and be part of as a tourist. Our guide could project his voice better and give more attention to the explanations he is trying to express. The cruise was not really connected to the tour and was not well coordinated . Porto is a vivid city with an obvious desire to showcase to tourists.

Porto was spectacular and the 6 bridge cruise was excellent. Our guide took us to the Cathedral, railway station to show us the Azul blue tiles depicting historic scenes. I had seen the station in Michael Portillo's Great European Rail Journeys but to see them close up was magnificent. The visit to Cockburn's winery was also fantastic and for those people who know nothing about the wine trade you will be fascinated. My purpose for visiting Porto was to follow the historical trading treaty with Britain which is unbroken for over 600yrs hence the major British influence in the Porto area. The barrels of wine were transported to Bristol and stored in limestone caves dug into a cliff. Make sure you are fit because the roads to the river valley are very steep. Our guide drove us to the riverside but getting back can be exhausting so use the funicular rail to get to the top and if you are on the other side of the river the cable car is the best way to get back to the top.

Great tour of Porto! Our guide Goncalo was very informative and super friendly. We started with tour of city by van making a few stops along the way. We then went to a facility that houses port wine for a tour and tasting. Excellent experience! We finished the tour with a boat ride Douro. Great value

This tour provided an excellent overview of the city of Porto and made it possible to cover all the highlights and a very short period of time. Our guide Claudia was very knowledgeable and professional. She allowed flexibility to ensure if our group of 5 found something interesting that we had a chance to explore. The tour of the Port Wine Lodge and Tasting was terrific and ride on the River to see the 6 bridges was a must. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Great way to see Porto and experience the port wines. Our guide was great at handling all of us. One couple was from South America, one couple from Mexico City, one couple from Spain and then us from America. So our guide would tell us everything in English and then send us off and say it all in Spanish. Not ideal but he did a great job of handling it all.

This was a very interesting tour however quite brief, accompanied with the great experience of the behind the scenes of port making and the 6 bridges river tour.

This was a really nice afternoon - learned a bit about the history of each of the bridges, and it was a beautiful day. The wine tasting was excellent - went to the Cockburn Port Cellar - It was a VERY well executed tour, and the tour guides definitely knew everything about the port and shared a wealth of information about their production processes. It ended with a nice wine tasting and shopping. Cindy, Calgary Canada

Interesting and educational.

When I booked this, the name implies at least to me we would be cruising down the river tasting wine. It was a good historical tour - an interesting walk and talk through the rail station and other sites in Porto and then port tasting. Extremely interesting but the bridge cruise seemed like an after thought.

We enjoyed this trip our guide Ricardo was nice and kept us entertained and informed, we were late for the Six Bridges Cruise however we were able to use our tickets the next day.The crew on board were very nice and as we were sitting inside we were given headphones to enjoy the commentary.

While we enjoyed the tour, ours guide had a very monotonous tone. Also conducting the tour in two languages; English and Spanish is not ideal. As when he would be speaking in English the Spanish people would be talking to each other loudly making it difficult to understand what he was saying. I wish I would have remembered his name.
