Visit: St. Paul's Chapel, 209 Broadway b/t Fulton Street & Vesey Street, New York City, NY 10007-2977

We will start the tour at St. Paul's Chapel, New York City’s oldest public building still in continuous use. Just one block away from the 9/11 attacks, it miraculously survived the falling building and debris. St. Paul’s Chapel served as a makeshift rescue center during the aftermath. Its iron fence became a bulletin board where family members posted notices of their missing loved ones. Today, with the mementos received from people around the world supporting New York City, the church serves as both a landmark and a tribute.

The tour was very informative. Our guide, Patrick, brought the whole experience to life. He showed some pictures to demonstrate where we were standing during the attack on that date. He filled in so much factual data.

Very interesting tour of the area around Ground Zero by Rob who shared personal experiences from 9/11. He gave history of St Paul’s Chapel, recounted the day of 9/11 and provided present day perspective of how NYC recovered. If you have the time, take the tour then visit the museum. We did it within 3 hours. Worth it.

We had a wonderful guide that made our tour so memorable as the had experienced 911 first hand. To hear her story brought reality to a horrible situation. She was a plethora of knowledge and made this tour. I had been there before but decided to do again as my husband had not sen it. It made the tour so much more informative!

On our recent holiday vaca. five of us toured the above; Because we wanted a more up-close tour using the advantage of a guide we reserved the above...it was so worth it! our guide was very knowledgeable and actually had a personal experience during the 9/11 day...he explained it as 'dumb luck'...i'll not say more...he is a very fortunate man and is alive to share his experience with so many others. We all had a memorable touring experience and would recommend Viator for booking tours.

Excellent Tour from beginning to end. This was my first time to the 9/11 Memorial. Our guide, Ray gave us an insight to what it was actually like to live and work in NYC on 9/11. Very moving and informative throughout. The Memorial and museum where beyond my expectations in so many ways. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide John was brilliant. The sights were moving and he was an incredible source of information with a personal perspective we wouldn’t have gotten from someone who hadn’t experienced the tragedy first hand. My husband and I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot. Was sad to hear of his personal loss on this day, but it really puts things into perspective. The memorial is very beautiful and fitting for the poor victims of this very sad day. The museum was also tastefully done. I would highly tech this tour.

My friend and I were so impressed with not only the tour, but with our exceptionally knowledgeable guide, Nick. His personal connection to the events of that day brought more than a few tears to the eyes of many in our group. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning what has transpired in NYC since that fateful day!

We loved the simplicity of the Memorial and how thoughtfully it was presented. The Museum was over-the-top WONDERFUL! The information we received on line when we purchased the ticket was not clear under the section "How to Redeem." It should have simply said, meet your guide in front of St Paul's Chapel on Broadway between Fulton and Vesey Sts! We were looking for the address 209 Broadway and an office for us to Redeem our paperwork for a ticket. The guide simply met us there and gave us our tickets. The guide spent way too much time on his personal life and how many jobs he had had in NY. We were anxious to learn more about 9/11!!!

I learned so much. While 9-11 impacted me as a citizen, I now understand how much it impacted the city as a neighborhood.

Daniel our tour guide was great! So informative....really took you back to that day. I highly recommend this tour.

An excellent tour guided by Michele. We don't usually do guided tours but this was worth every penny. Michele's personal experience of that day was both emotional and educational at the same time. There was no way we would have known any of the fact that were communicated and we left with a better understanding of how the memorial was conceived and what it means to those who lost loved ones.
