Our guide was enthusiastic and we had time to explore 2 castles. We got a good sense of what life is like in the highlands and visited a village beside a loch where a 19th century landowner had built stone cottages for his workers.

This was a very informative tour. Nick, our guide, was very knowledgeable regarding the areas we visited and obviously very proud of the Scottish history. He helped the drive sections with his stories and anecdotes. He made many stops so we could take pictures and view the beautiful landscapes.

This small group tour is a great way to experience the west Highlands. Our driver took us on secondary roads so we saw amazing natural landscapes. Periodically Jeffrey would stop the van so we could take photos. We had reasonable amount of time to visit Doune Castle and Inveraray Castle--both have been used in various TV and movie productions. Great tour!

I’ve taken a lot of tours over the years all over the world and this one is hands down one of the best! That is partly due to the amazing locations we visited and their beauty and it was also due to our fantastic tour guide Nik A!!! Nik A was awesome! He was entertaining, informative, knowledgeable. My son and I had a great day full of beautiful memories, wonderful photos and lots of laughs. This was my first tour with Rabbie’s and it was fantastic!!!!!!!!!! Well done! I can not recommend this tour and Nik A enough!

Our guide Jeff was fantastic. Him along w our driver John shared a wealth of history and background for the areas that we toured. We stopped several times for photo ops and to enjoy the views. It was great hearing about the past and how things were done back then. The bus was comfortable. USB port was a huge plus.

I greatly enjoyed this tour, which covered considerable ground and yet planned the time well enough to see many locations. It rained heavily - but never while we were outside the bus. Hero number one is Scotland, with its austere beauty and long and fascinating history. Hero number two is Nick, our tour guide. His genial, friendly, warm manner and self-deprecating humour disguises just how much hard work and research he has put into his presentation, full of interesting facts but simple enough not to deter anyone. It all comes across as spontaneous and entirely natural. At each location he provided important context and history. Norman the driver was also friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a long tour in which you visit several beautiful castles and have the opportunity to view various lochs or lakes, which are very common in Scotland. You'll see great views of the Scottish highlands. The trip was comfortable, and our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. If you have several days in Edinburgh, it will be worth it to spend one of those in this tour.

Fabulous tour through the western highlands! We lucked out and it was sunny for the majority of the day. Definitely pay for entrance into the extra castle stops as they are worth it. Ross was an amazing tour guide. Very informative whilst keeping it light and funny. Would highly recommend!

Ewan B. our tour guide was great! He was very knowledgeable and personable! He gave you inside details to the history of the castles and lands we went to and if you had additional questions he would do his best to answer those as well. He made the experience very pleasurable, and the tour itself is amazing I would highly recommend it.

This was a great all-day trip to see the Scottish Highlands, castles and The Scottish countryside. The meeting area is convently located at a coffee shop in city center. The 16-passenger bus is comfy but not too roomy like most things in the UK :- Our driver was very informative, talkative and willing to ask any and all questions. The trip was smooth and free of problems. The great thing about these guided trips is not having to drive and being able to stay focused on the sights out the huge windows or simply taking a nap on the long trip back to the city. This, and another trip later in the week will account for most of our photo memories from our trip to Scotland!
