Welcome to Chiang Mai, a city in Thailand known for its rich culture, ancient temples and beautiful natural surroundings. From the iconic Doi Suthep Temple to the bustling Night Bazaar, Chiang Mai offers traditional charm, delicious Northern Thai cuisine, and a wide range of activities to make your stay memorable.
Arriving at Chiang Mai Airport, you'll be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel for check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city. Why not try some tasty street food or take a thrilling tuk tuk ride?

The Golden Triangle
Chiang Mai - Chiang Saen. Today's journey takes you to Chiang Rai, a picturesque destination in Northern Thailand. First stop is at the rejuvenating Mae Kajan Hot Springs. Next, visit Wat Rong Khun or 'White Temple,' a mesmerizing art exhibit.
After lunch, continue to Chiang Saen, a Lanna-era capital situated on the Mekong River. It is here that the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos converge.
You will continue on and explore the picturesque Wat Phra Dhat Jom Kitti, before taking a boat to the Golden Triangle for views of Myanmar and Laos.

Chinese Temples & Coffee House
Chaing Saen - Chiang Rai. The adventure continues to Mae Sai, the northernmost Thai town, situated on the Myanmar border. Here, you'll explore the local market, as well as the Fish and Monkey cave.
You'll then journey to Doi Mae Salong, a breathtaking area perched 1,800 meters above sea level. The area features lush tea plantations, Chinese temples and unique ethnic tribes. You will enjoy a Yunnan-style lunch at Mae Salong Villa, surrounded by striking mountain and valley vistas.
Afterwards, drive towards Chiang Rai with a visit to 'Baan Dam' Black House along the way. This remarkable structure, created by local Thai artist Tawan Duchanee, is a fusion of an art studio, museum, and home.
To end the day, you will visit the relaxing Cheevit Tammada, a quaint coffee house near the Kok River, before arriving in Chiang Rai where you will spend the night.

Kok River Boat Ride & Mae Rim
Chiang Rai - Mae Rim. Today begins with a 3-hour long-tail boat ride up the scenic Kok River. Along the way, you will pass tiny hill tribe villages and dense jungles.
After lunch, visit Wat Thatorn, a large and remarkable temple complex near the Myanmar border. Here, you can enjoy magnificent views over the surrounding rural area.
The journey then moves towards Mae Rim, with scenic stops in Fang and Chiang Dao. These charming destinations offer glimpses of authentic local life and showcase the natural wonders of Northern Thailand. Finally, arrive in Mae Rim, where you will spend the night.

Orchids, Elephant Waste & Palace Museum
Mae Rim - Chiang Mai. Start the day off fresh, with a visit to an orchid farm. Enjoy the vibrant colours and varied species of flowers that thrive in Thailand.
You'll then head to Elephant Poopoo Paper Park, a unique and eco-friendly attraction where you will discover the fascinating process of making paper products from elephant waste.
Next, head to the Dara Pirom Palace Museum, an elegant property that once belonged to one of King Rama V's royal consorts. The building has been transformed into a museum exhibiting palace decor, and Chiang Mai's rich culture and history.
Finish up the day with a visit to a handicraft enclave, where you can witness the intricate craftsmanship involved in creating lacquerware, weaving Thai Silk, and making paper umbrellas.

As your journey comes to a close, immerse yourself in the ancient history of Chiang Mai with visits to some of its most iconic temples including the oldest temple in Chiang Mai - Wat Chiang Man, Wat Phra Singh, Wat Suan Dok and Wat Doi Suthep which sits at an elevation of 1,676 atop a mountain.
After lunch, the tour will conclude. If flying out today, we recommend booking a flight after 5pm.
