River cruise is wonderful. Very scenic and informative. Hotel pickup was on time. Guide was knowledgeable. Church and fruit market were a waste of time. Empanadas were good. i suggest the guide either has a flag or give group members tags because onthe boat you are mixed with other tours. One of our group walked off with another group because many groups got off the boat and mixed with those waiting to take the boat in the other direction. Outside of that misshap, the tour was great”

We were picked up on time by our lovely guide Mariella and driven to our boat which we shared with several other travelers. She was very knowledgeable and informative. We had a nice empanada lunch and toured old fruit port which now provides goods for the residents of the delta. On our bus ride back to BA we stopped by the cathedral in quaint San Isidro. It was a great way to see one of the surrounding areas of BA.”

Rosa was exceptional, she was very informative. When we left our mobile in the bus, Rosa went out of her way and returned it to the office, where we met her.”

“
Lovely knowledgeable guide, Romina who was very attentive to the groups questions and needs. Enjoyed the boat ride up the Rio Plata. Served coffee and a muffin on board. Excellent narrative by guides about the history and landmarks on the way, Had an empanada lunch at the Italian Rowing Club which was delicious. Not much to see at the Puerto de Fruita on Monday. Could have passed this stop. A worthwhile day trip!”

“
Well organised, guide was good. Itinerary was excellent.
Small group was an advantage everywhere except the cruise.
you do share the cruise boat down the river. Wasn’t a big issue. Enjoyed it.”

Juliet was punctual at the hotel and was very informative for the entire trip. From the port, we boarded a passenger boat and traversed the Rios de la Plata and San Antonio to the Port at Tigre. It was nice to get away from the traffic of the city and see the vacation homes on the islands. Additional stops were made to enjoy a light lunch and visit a market and cathedral.”

What a great day, started with excellent hosts (Nick and Quan) setting scene for enjoyable group. Nick is a very passionate and proud person of their roots and culture.
The tour was a real eye opener!, some amazing views on the water , easy lunch and couple of quick stops at market and church
Overall a great day.
Only tip pack a jumper or coat as can get cold on the boat”

We didn't really know what to expect on this tour, and very much enjoyed it. Our guide, Enrique, was friendly and very knowledgeable. Coincidentally, we were on a city tour with him a few days earlier, and he was great. You'll learn a lot about Buenos Aires on this tour and have fun at the same time.”

Very fun tour seeing a beautiful and unusual part of the area. Our guide, Enrique, was very organized, informative, and personable. I'd recommend this tour to anyone spending a few days in Buenos Aires who wanted to see what it looks like outside the city.”

“
This is a tour of the Tigre Delta and some river towns. I was picked up by the tour bus at my hotel (Tango de Mayo). The boat was located downtown at the Puerto Madero (the richest and newest part of town). The boat was a bit crowded, seating wise, but I hung out in the back after our empenada and coffee complimentary snack. The Rio de la Plata is the largest (not longest) river in the world. You will not be able to see the Urugyuan shoreline. It is fresh water though. The boat ride itself was very pleasant . Pablo, our tour guide, was ever present to make sure our needs were met. There were beautiful homes on the islands. The boat ended at the river town Tigre. We had snack at the Italian boat club. We then proceeded to the Puerto de Frutos, which was rather bare since it was a Wednesday in March. We then proceeded to San Isidro, visiting the church there. Then we returned to Buenos Aires. The trip was relaxing and enjoyable. I would do it again.”

Tour guide Natalie was wonderful, showed up at exactly the right time for hotel lobby pick up. She was such a nice person, and very knowledgeable in her touring. Excellent sense of humor. From pick up to drop off I was out for a total of 5.5 hours. The stop for empanadas was great. I did notice that some of the guests tipped her (as did I) but none of them tipped our driver. Please tip your driver folks.Thank you Natalie!”

We had a great time on this tour, the boat ride through the Tigre delta was amazing. The bus ride back was good, but our guide, Marcela, made it much better with her knowledge of the area. She took the time to show us the sights and answer all of our questions.”

Excellent tour! Well worth the money! The pace was perfect, our guide I think was named Alex. He's an architect and had tons of useful history and knowledge to share. We got endless quality photos and found the entire tour to be quite engaging.”

“
The best part of this tour was the boat ride from downtown BA into the delta. Great way to see how the people live in that area. Highly recommended for those who want to get out of the city on a day trip. The lunch was good, the San Isidro part was less interesting to us, but a good way to end the tour.”

“
Great tour. The Tigre Delta is beautiful and lots to see. If you were ever in the Catskill mountains in 60's or earlier it reminds you of the time when not everyone had a car and relied on the daily delivery trucks of different products for sale. That's the Tigre Delta. Small Island formed by the silt. Each island has a small group of bungalows with the only means of transportation is via the Delta boats. They have water Taxis, floating mini supermarkets, floating clothing stores and other general products. The homes or bungalows are the old and the beautiful new. Highly recommend for full day outing”

We had a beautiful day there. Our guide was friendly and we enjoyed the whole day. The boat ride out to the delta was smooth and fast. When we got out to the Tigre delta islands they slowed so we could appreciate the feel of the island homes.
Lunch was very good and we enjoyed the whole experience.”

Nice boat ride after being picked up at the hotel. We received coffee and cookie upon the start of the ride that was a nice surprise. The ride on the boat was good and informative about the Delta and its people. We had a traditional brief lunch with empanadas followed by a walk in the market. Very pleased with the tour.”
