This tour was absolutely awesome with a great crew looking after us. My partner and I opted to do the introductory scuba dive and it was such an amazing experience. Where better to try scuba diving than the Great Barrier Reef? Our instructor Jess was superb and we felt very safe under the water with her supervision. Thanks so much! The boat was very relaxing with plenty of places to sit and the lunch was very good. Highly recommend. Couldn't have wished for a better time spent at the reef 😊

The staff of the Passions of Paradise treated us with such good care. From the moment we sailed off, through the time in the water and the even the lunch was first class experience. We went with teens on our trip and these guys made everyone feel special. Great attention to service and safety in the water.

So glad we booked with them. Check in was easy and quick, no long lines like some of the bargain tours. I would guess about 80+ passengers and plenty of space to move around and be comfortable. Equipment was good, food was delicious and the crew exceptional! We had really great weather and the snorkeling sites where wonderful. The crew really tried to give everyone a great experience. They are one of the last locally owned operations, buy local, book with passions of paradise!

The boat was comfortable and the food delicious. I also participated in the Discover Scuba which was a cool feature to have on the boat, definitely a once in a lifetime experience. I saw lots of cool wildlife and felt well taken care of by the crew and safe at all times. Thanks for the experience!

We just completed a day tour of the Great Barrier Reef with Paradise Tours! This was a fantastic day! They serve tea, coffee, muffins and fresh fruit on the ride out and it hit the spot as it was just a bit chilly. They also offer it on the way back to port and both tea times are included in the cost of the tour. The boat is comfortable and had varied seating to meet everyone's needs. It is a well run tour and the crew is wonderful. They are very safety conscience but make sure you are having fun at the same time! We went to 2 reefs and it exceeded our expectations! The included lunch was amazing! It is the only reef tour per the crew that has an onboard chef and he is very talented. They served food for every dietary need - meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes and each one was delish! Although we did not do the dive only regret we recommend participating in the dive option. We had to rent wet suits due to it being windy and a bit chilly but the cost was very affordable 8 AUD- So glad we did that. The crew is fun, very passionate and knowledgable about the Reef and the life there. There is a presentation about the Reef and all the life that abounds on the trip back to port. They do collect for various Reef and Marine life charities as well as the Rainforest but there is no pressure. Highly recommend this tour..... Note - If you have any medical issues, or have had any recent surgery, contact the tour directly -- they will let you know if they need a doctor's letter giving you the OK to dive! So highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing experience!! Very friendly staff, nice catamaran, good for first timers because they assign instructors to lead those who are not very good with swimming

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! That sums up this trip! I have a son who is allergic to nuts, so as soon as I stepped on board the boat, I asked to speak to the chef to make him aware of our issue. I did not want to be miles away from a hospital in case the worst should occur. The chef had planned to put nuts in a salad I think and as soon as I mentioned that my son had a nut allergy, he went straight back to the kitchen to pack up the nuts with a note on them not to be used due to an allergy. He then came back and we talked a bit more about other pre-packaged items that would be served that might contain nuts. I SUPER appreciated the attention to detail from not only the chef but from all the crew members!

We seriously loved this opportunity to take in the Great Barrier Reef and snorkel at two sites for a total of three hours. My wife was first in, last out at each of the snorkel sites. I was able to do the glass bottom boat for the second site and loved it along with the guided explanations of the reef. Along with the rainforest trip the Great Barrier Reef is a must see activity in Cairns.

Super excursion!!!! I highly recommend this trip with the Passions of Paradise Crew. They were fantastic, friendly, courteous, helpful and went above and beyond to make our trip successful. We saw amazing reef vies when snorkeling. Our guide would stop and tell us what we were seeing. We saw shark, clams, puffer fish, parrot fish, and clown fish yes, Nemo to name a few. They even fed us snacks and a delicious lunch. It was one of the best experiences of our lives!!!! Thank you Passions Crew!

What a great experience! I was so happy to have chosen Passions of Paradise as they are a local company that gives back to the earth! They are conscious about waste and carbon footprints! The staff is amazing, knowledgable and super friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome by learning your name and as you exit the catamaran after the excursion, the entire staff is waiting to shake your hand, I felt like a celebrity! The food was great and the snorkeling was easy and fun! My friend saw a green sea turtle and a black tip shark! I wasn't as lucky but got some great pics and videos on the go pro! I HIGHLY recommend this tour and ESPECIALLY this company, Passions of Paradise!

The crew was amazingly personable and knowledgeable and took the time to get to meet everyone on-board. We had a wonderful day snorkeling, and they helped make our trip to the Great Barrier Reef the most amazing part of our trip to Australia.

I cannot say enough good things about our time with this excursion. The catamaran was beautiful and provided a very enjoyable ride out to the reefs. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and I definitely got the most of the experience because of them. The food provided for lunch was very good as well. Our dive instructor Simon was an excellent teacher it was my first time with scuba diving and was extremely knowledgeable about the reefs and native wildlife. This was probably the most amazing trip I've ever taken and I'll never forget it, highly HIGHLY recommend this trip for anyone looking to get the most of their GBR experience! Worth every penny!

The staff was amazing and actually learned our names...not an easy feat for 40-50 guests. Had a wonderful day snorkeling the reef!

Amazing!! Adventurous trip to great snorkelling and diving spots on the reef! Highly recommend taking the intro scuba option, instructors are very thorough and we even spotted a reef shark and a turtle (so close I could have touched it!). They also allow you to take your camera under!

Best day ever! GREAT crew - makes you feel like your a guest and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Very thorough for introductory snorkelers and scuba which was me. Lunch over delivered - very good! Lovely boat and good size group - not too big. Michaelmas Cay was my favourite - I wish we had more time there vs. Paradise Reef, but overall a perfect day!

If you come to the great barrier reef, you really have to snorkel at some point...it is absolutely breathtaking! This particular tour is on a very nice catamaran and the crew is friendly and knowledgeable. Do be aware that this trip serves A LOT of people!

First rate operation. Crew was awesome and very helpful with snorkeling and insuring safety of guests. Sights at Great Barrier Reef should not be missed. Negatives- lunch not the best and had to pay for beverages other than tea or coffee. Also a shower to get the saltwater off would be nice. Elyse was especially nice and hardworking on the crew.

Quite fun! It was a bit cloudy and rainy due to it being the wet season so not the best views at the first spot, but we were able to see more at the second location! Food was pretty tasty considering we were in the middle of the ocean. Sitting on the outside of the boat was ideal as it is beautiful and was fun to get splashed every so often.
