This tour was the best I have ever had! Excellent guides. ”
I recently returned from the Road to Jordan tour operated by On-The-Go. I wanted to let you know what an amazing time I had in both Egypt and Jordan.
Alam was our guide through Egypt. He has great knowledge to share with his groups and made our tour so much fun. Everyday seemed more amazing than the next visiting some unbelievable sites. I enjoyed learning from Alam about each of the sites and he was able to answer any questions put to him by the group. We were really well looked after and always felt completely safe and at ease. Alam was very approachable and would help us with any concerns we were having, he always made himself available to us. He offered to help us barter at the markets and made sure we always ate in good restaurants. On our Alexandria day trip Alam practically asked every person walking by for directions to the Church where my friends grandparents were married. He was unwilling to give up, and thank goodness we finally found it, but I do think he went above and beyond what most people would have done to get us there!
Okla guided us through Jordan and he was brilliant also. He knew Petra like the back of his hand and was able to guide us through some amazing hikes. He looked after those that were struggling with the walk, encouraging and supporting them along the way. Okla did everything he could to make sure we were happy and went out of his way to help us fix some problems we were having with our journey back to Cairo. My highlight was definitely our night in Wadi Rum, singing around the fire and star gazing! We had some great laughs and although we had only known him for 4 days we felt just like old friends!
I would encourage anyone considering this trip to book it. I hope that tourism does start to pick up again soon... Two amazing countries not to be missed! Please pass on my thanks to our guides.
Kind regards ”
My guide was brilliant! His knowledge of Egypt was mind-blowing. I will definitely come back to Egypt. ”
Dear On the Go,
I have recently returned form Egypt having used On the Go tours and I wanted to express my thanks & say how great the service that I received was.
Upon my arrival I was met by one of your representatives who dealt with all the visa paperwork very quickly and stayed with me to collect my baggage. It felt as if I was a VIP!
After leaving the airport, your Cairo rep, Alberto, took us to our hotel, explained out plans and made us feel very comfortable in what was a strange world to us.
Our tour began in the last days of Ramadan, it was a good thing to witness the celebrations and the feast at the end of it!, but we were also aware that it could have not been easy for our guide, Alam, to work under these conditions. We need not have been concerned, he was a constant professional and we could not fault him. Alam shared stories with us, made us laugh, educated us and made us bond together as a group.
I could go on, singing the praises of the level of service & the attitude of your representatives but I would run out of ink & paper ;-)
Thank you On the Go for such an amazing experience!”
On the go has exceeded my expectations, its only second hour I have done with them and it's been amazing. Our guide Haytham has been incredible and is an asset to the company.”
It was a great tour with a mix of ages and people. Haytham is a great guide. It was a easy, stress free trip in an amazing country. ”
I just came home from a trip to Egypt/Jordan where I did your 16day Road to Jordan tour. It was amazing, I had the time of my life! It was more then I ever expected. The Felucca boat was a highlight and I am so happy I didn't go on the cruise boat. Also it was really great that the group joined up with 2 other tours so there was about 12 of us, and a good range of ages. & Fantastic tour leaders :) ”
Just wanted to pop you an email to say thanks. My tour with On The Go was brilliant, I absolutely loved it!! Our guide Haytham was fantastic, he was so much fun to hang out with & took really good care of us the whole way through. Our whole group got along really well and had a really amazing time - we even had a couple get engaged!!! We didn't even mind the sandstorm as we just had a bigger party & turned out to be a good story haha!! Sadly our lovely guide for Jordan, Shoab, had a family emergency so we didn't get to spend much time with him, but our replacement guide Nader was also fantastic. He is a freelance tour guide & not employed by On The Go but I would definitely recommend him if On The Go (or anyone else) ever needs his services. He is a really lovely man - very knowledgable, informative, flexible, looked after us very well, and was available for us any time.
I really couldn't have been happier with On The Go, hope I can book another tour soon!! ”
I am writing to give feedback about my recent trip with On the Go. I went on the Road to Jordan - leaving the 21st of December. I had a brilliant time and the Egyptian guide Momo was fantastic. He was so much fun, organized, enthusiastic and knowledgable. He did such a great job getting the 'family' to interact and was very accomodating to such a big group. Momo was an awesome guide who I would highly recommend to anybody considering a trip to Egypt. I can't believe how much we seen in such a short space of time!
Thanks for an amazing trip! ”
Had the best experience of my life & enjoyed the company + friendliness of all the staff. Most of all, I would do a tour with Haitham everytime. He was fantastic! ”
