This was a very enjoyable trip. We saw there were trips which stopped at 3 chateaus but only stopping at two gave more time to view the chateaus. It was our belief that stopping at 3 would be too rushed. Our guide was excellent. We would highly recommend this not only to see the chateaus buy also to view the countryside. It is a drive but well worth it. The lunch was way beyond expectations. Really good food.

This was a really nice trip albeit long. Our guide was excellent. She did a great job of doing English and Spanish. It was a long trip back to Paris but totally worth it. Lunch was ok.

Prepare for a long day, but one well worth it. Most of the time is spent travelling on a very comfortable bus, the the two chateaux are remarkable. Chenonceau is a jewel and Chambord, the largest of all of the chateaux in the Lorie Valley, is breathtaking in it size and design. It was quite eerie as there is virtually no furniture in it, and your footsteps echo throughout.

The road was a little long but comfortable. The guides were very kind, helpful and instructive. The visit to Chenonceau was the best. Chambord is less impressive but the wine tasting was excellent

This bus ride was very comfortable and they do a 1/2 stop on your way to use the bathrooms and get some snacks. Both chateaus are gorgeous and Francois was very nice and knowledgeable. He did this tour in English and Japanese.

Totally worth the price. It's a beautiful day out of Paris. The wine was delicious and I highly recommend doing the tour with a guide. The guide we had was Rocío and she is the best.

I really enjoyed this tour! My tour guide, Vincent, was absolutely excellent. He made the tour very interesting and enjoyable, including intriguing facts about the histories of the castles and the people who lived there. He really seemed to enjoy explaining these stories to us and I would 100% recommend him as a guide!

Helene and the entire staff were amazing! The bus was super comfortable and having WiFi was such an added bonus. Helene was very knowledgeable about the history of the buildings and people who lived in them. She did a terrific job in making it all come alive.

Great tour with knowledgeable guides. The wine tasting was in a room of one of the castles which was nice but there was too many people that crowded around the table so it was hard to get to the wine. Other than that, great tour, comfortable bus. I recommend it!

Jewels of Loire. Castles and beautiful nature. So much history. This trip highlights the most beautiful ones, and if you only have one day it is a perfect trip.

Our tour guide was excellent, giving us real insight into the lives of the kings and queens who lived in these castles. We visited d'Amboise on our tour, which was a favorite of Leonardo da Vinci. He is buried here. I am a huge da Vinci buff so this was a thrill for me. The town surrounding the castle is just what you expect a quaint French town to be, and there was plenty of time for shopping, lunch, or just relaxing at an outdoor bistro. Chenonceau is a must see. Google a little history before you visit, and you will appreciate it even more. There is even a hedge maze! This tour is quite a long bus ride from Paris, but worth it. Awesome.

Great to get out of the city and see some historic buildings. There are some other tours that visit three chateaus/castles but this one visits two. We booked this one particularly to see Leonardo da Vinci's final resting place. The wine tasing was great - a bit of rose, white, and red and grape juice for my 2 kids along with some appetizers to cleanse the palette. English brochures were available at both Amboise and Chenonceau to read more about the history/properties. In Amboise, do follow the advice and go to lunch early to make sure you get back to the bus on time!

Amazing experience and takes the hassle out of planning, researching and driving!

Beautiful locations. We did the 2 castles and the wine tasting. We thought seeing 2 castles in 1 day was enough. I can't imagine having to see 3 in one day. The wine was delicious and they give you things to pair it with. Do your best to walk around the grounds of each one. We really enjoyed this tour.

We enjoyed the visits to each castle. It was also great that the tour operator was able to work with the lunch venue to prepare vegetarian options.

This tour was amazing!

This is my second time taking this tour and enjoyed it immensely. The castles are fascinating and it seems that the tour is different each time dependent on the guide and the season. The guide was very good. I would recommend this tour.

Gorgeous castles, great experience! Nice country side experience driving up to there but quite tiring!

Three distinct chateaus made the trip very informative. Our guide was excellent and charming. Lunch was a nice surprise and very good. We recommend this tour.
• Submitted 24 Mar 2018
Great day tour. This was my family's favorite tour in France. Only thing to consider is allowing 45 minutes of free time at each chateau.
• Submitted 24 Mar 2018
This was a long tour but we enjoyed it so much! I'm glad we got to see all three castles instead of the 2 with a wine tasting. Our guide did a good job explaining what we were seeing and was quite diplomatic with a woman on our tour that complained about everything. Lunch was good. The three chateaus were absolutely gorgeous. I would have liked a little more time to walk around on our own, but it was a 13 hour tour we hit traffic in Paris coming back so I can see how there really wasn't any extra time to spare. Highly recommend this tour.
